Set background picture for standby screen on E61
Hi,
is there any way I can change the look of the Standby-screen (different background) without installing a complete new theme?
I tried once with a nice jpg I had found on the internet because I was getting bored with the Nokia-blue-spots-or-something-theme: I loaded it into my gallery and the Options menu displayed a submenu "As Background" which I selected. Whew, there it was, very nice. Was there for two days (equivalent to two restarts as I switch off at night), then it was gone...
Tried once more, was there for another two days, then gone.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Hendikoischnur

Try modifying your Nokia theme (or whichever one is current) so the standby screen is your favourite JPG, then hopefully it won't lose the settings so often...you can do this by going into Tools/Themes, choose the current theme, choose edit, then select wallpaper, point at your pic, save etc etc

Where is the background picture for a window stored?
Greetings,
Where is the background picture for a window stored? What is the file called? I am trying to find the image used on a DVD.
Thankswhen you set a picture to be a background of some folder that picture is not moved from its original location. instead a record is made in the .DS_Store file of that folder indicating that this picture is the one to be used for the background. in case of the DVD it is likely sitting in some hidden folder right on the DVD.
run the following terminal command to enable showing hidden files in finder
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1; killall Finder
then look on the dvd and the picture should be there somewhere. if you still can't find it open the .DS_store file of the folder in question using Text Editor. a lot of this file will be unreadable but the picture path will be present in plain text.
when done rerun the above command after changing 1 to 0. -
How can i set a layout for MIGO screen
Hello all,
How can i set a layout for MIGO screen. & make that layout default. Like i want to drag Requistioner column next to quantity in MIgo screen. temporarily I can drag but is there a way to save as layout & save it.Hi
First you arrange however you want and then go to table settings which is there in the right corner of the item details and create a variant and save.
Find a button with blue yellow and white at the top end above the vertical drag bar when put the cursor it will show you as Configuration.
After creating the variant tick the check box use as standard setting below the variant
Hope it helps

Setting background image for repeating frame in .pdf report
Is it possible to set a background image for a repeating frame, and more specifically for a repeating frame rendered in .pdf?
I do not see any standard property in the navigator for images of any sort and the documentation touches only on setting background images for graphs, which is not the intent in my case. I -did- add an HTML table property background="myimage.jpg" but the report is ultimately generated in .pdf format and I was not surprised to see that the image was not rendered.
Does anyone know if setting a background image as described is even possible, and if so, how? A second but less optimum solution would be setting the image as the background for all report pages, again in .pdf.
Many thanks.Hi Raj,
Yes you can have an image in the background. Thats possible if you are using XML forms as an iview or ivew dev in WebDynpro...

Please do need full help,its urgent req.Hello,
open the file in Excel and save it, just to ensure that Excel writes all the additional stuff it thinks is necessary.
Now change the background colour of the header and save the file again but with a different name.
Open both files in a text editor and look at the differences. That's what you need to change in your code.
Alternatively you can use packages like xml_spreadsheet or ExcelDocumentType, both write the same file format that you use in your code and you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

When I use other web browsers I have the ability to set a background picture on my homepage. How do I do that on Firefox?
Is this picture to be used in a drop zone or used as the total background of a theme? If the former it's not possible to do that as that's the nature of the drop zone .
For a general background for the menu the image should have a 4:3 size ratio in the landscape orientatikon. For a portrait oriented photo that would mean either cropping to a 4:3 landscape ratio or creating a 4:3 landscape canvas and putting the portrait image in the center, edgo or wherever and using the composite image. There will be some white space but that can be filled with a color that goes with the image.
Of course you will need to use 3rd party image editor that an handle layers or Pages.
Some Image Editors That Support layers:
Photoshop Elements 11 for Mac - $79
Rainbow Painter - $30
Imagerie - $38
Acorn - $50
Pixelmator - $60
Seashore - Free
GIMP for Mac - Free
Xee 2.1 - free
You will get something like this:
One could move the image to the right or left edge for better esthetics and have the buttons in the "white" area.

I am using Background color for JButton (color is selected from the customized JColorChooser created by us) where it contains the option of transparency. If we choose light color, then the background is set to JButton, but when we mouse-over the JButton, other components inside the container (JPanel) is getting displayed inside the button.
Can anyone help to sort out this problem.

How to set default variant for selection screen
Hi,
I want to make one variant as default for selection screen for one user.
For eg., take COOIS. For the selection screen, i have 3 variants. But i want one variant to be default. Thsi is not for all users. Thsi is for particular user.
I am not seeing any way to do this. please help me..
Thanks
SriniHi,
If you are using Z program then you can ask your developer to get Variant name Runtime from Parameter ID.
This means you decide a Parameter ID name : ZVAR in your Z program and ask your developer to load variant each time your Z program loads.
Now, second step will be using SU01 transaction you can set value of ZVAR in Parameters tab for the user. This value will be the variant which you created for this user.
This will solve your problem and you can make n number of variants and assign it to different users.

Dynamic change in Background Picture for Smartform
Hi,
I need to keep a background Image in smartform only in specific condition.
I have done like this :
I have taken one variable in the intialization and I am filling with the image name for a specific condition.
This variable , I am giving it in the Background Picture Tab.
But I am getting run time error as Graphic cannot be displayed.
Here I am giving the code In the initialization:
Here p_obnam is my variable of type TDOBNAME
SAMPLE is my image name which is in SE78
CASE p_biltyp.
WHEN 'ZRE' OR
'G2'.
p_obnam = space.
WHEN 'ZF5'.
p_obnam = 'SAMPLE'.
WHEN OTHERS.
p_obnam = 'SAMPLE'.
ENDCASE.
Please let me know...how can I do this.
Regards
SandeepHi,
In the Initialization tab specify the condition..
ex:
if you want to print the symbol of the currency in the background according to the currency..
if w_currency = 'USD'. "---->Data received
w_name = 'DOLLAR' "--->Image in SE78
elseif w_currency = 'INR'.
w_name = 'RUPEE'. "--->Image in SE78
endif.
now you mention w_name as &w_name& in the background picture of the smartform.
This will print the symbol according to the currency you received from the driver program or in the smartform itself.
Thanks & Regards
Sarves
