SETTING PROPERTIES FOR A MAPPING VIA OMBPLUS ISN'T WORKING (OWB10gR2)

Hi, i have a problem with OMBPLUS:
I have a script which creates a mapping and then is supposed to change properties for the mapping. The script worked in previous releases of OWB but after upgrading to 10gR2 I get an error that DEFAULT_OPERATING_MODE property does not exist.
Does anyone know why I get the error?

Hi, don't look at the script it was copied and pasted from an old thread. The problem is the error I get when trying to execute:

If I change any of the properties inside OWB and then run the script again, then the properties are changed. Does anyone know why the behavior is like this?

Thanks for your idea Roman, but it doesn't solve my problem.
The problem is regardless of which property (Runtime parameters in OWB) I try to change. Before ANY property is changed via OWB (GUI) the changes via OMB doesn't come to effect (even if RETREIVE after OMBCOMMIT says so).

If we enter profit center, we don't get any value.
As per developer after debugging, table BSIK is not getting updated, hence values are not updating in the report.
Please let me know, any configuration is missing.

Try BSEG and see if its there for the particular doc. If its not there its a functional issue, you have to capture profit center at the time of entry. You can either make the profit center field mandatory or substitute it at the time of document generation. Consult your FI consultant. If u have activated New GL features the profit center may me in table FAGLFLEXA. but i don't think u can get the profit center from this table for your purpose, you may need to develop a zreport.

Setting filenames for images sequences via scripting

Is there a good way to set the output filename for a sequence via scriping? When I explicitly set the filename and render location, the frame number is being appended to the end of the extension. (example: "filename.png002").

Did a quick test.
You can set name the way you want "Comp 1-[#].jpg" - I mean if you add [#] by hand, AE seems to respect that.
So I guess you could check how many frames you are going to render and set appropriate amount of # signs in the file name.
Looking at your example, seems that AE ads frame number after the extension. In case you want to control where AE puts those frame numbers, try this "filename-[#].png" - that should do the trick.

How do you allow access to Page Properties for a page via Permissions.

I've been trying to figure out how to setup permissions for a user or group to allow them to have access to the Page Properties dialog and view it's contents.
So far the user/group in question has read/modify/create/delete access to the entire /content/<site_name>. These people can right click on a page in Websites and select the Page Properties option but some of the page properties, custom ones, are empty, or showing but their respective content (housed under /content/<site_name>/<page_name> is missing/empty.

The location of the folder is important. If it is inside a subfolder of your Home folder, then nobody else will be able to see it no matter what sharing options you set.
Put it in the /Users/Shared folder.
As leroydouglas pointed to, go to the Sharing preferences and add that folder.
You'll also need to give them a login to that Mac. You can create a "Sharing Only" user which is a login for file sharing users.
In Users & Groups, Add a new User account and set it to Sharing Only.
Give it a username and password for them all to use (which can be saved in their keychains).
Go back to Sharing and Add that new Sharing Only user. Give them Read Only access. If they all have normal logins on that Mac, you can just add those user names and they will log in just as if they were sitting at the Mac.
Marking of a folder as Shared will only share it with users that can log into that Mac and only if they have permission to see through all the intervening folders.
EDIT: You could also set up Guest access and allow guests to access file sharing. You could then share the folder to everyone: read only.

You used to be able to create a Sharing Only user from that preference pane, but it appears they've modified that to allow you to create a Sharing only user from your Contacts list.

JMS/AQ: Setting properties for JMS message using PL/SQL

I have created a procedure in PL/SQL that uses JMS messages, and now I need to include a property so that the subscriber can use a message selector to filter out unwanted messages. Is this possible using PL/SQL?
A previous post said: "... But you can have properties in the message payload itself and also define selectors on the message content ...". But I looked at Sun's tutorial and there it said: "A message selector cannot select messages on the basis of the content of the message body."
I have 300 different screens and messages apply only to one screen at a time. When the user is looking at screen 'A' I want him to only recieve messages that apply to screen 'A'. I thought I would do this with message selector, but is there any other way?

Thanks for the answer. I managed to set the Correlation id and retrieve it using getJMSCorrelationID(). But I did not manage to use the MessageSelector on it. I have used the Topicbrowser which is not part of the JMS standard? I tried to enqueue the messages using Java too and tried to use the topicbrowser on both JMSCorrelationID and user defined properties withou success. Is there some special requirements of the TopicBrowser?

Not able to set properties for Exported documents

I am pretty new to crystal report, my problem is I export reports into pdf, excel, rtf and doc.
While exporting I want to set document Properties I am using SummaryInfo to fill in the values

While debugging I see the values getting set but after export when I open the document and see properties of it its not set.

How to set properties for HTTPClient came with WSClient_extends.jar ?

In my web service client application, we need cookie to maintain session between server and client.
I think the server cookie policy is not completely standards compliant since HTTP request to this server through Apache HTTPClient need to setup following:
"http.protocol.single-cookie-header" to be true
cookie policy to be "CookiePolicy.BROWSER_COMPATIBILITY"
My problem is, we are using Oracle WSClient_extends.jar for web service call, WSClient_extends.jar came with it own HTTPClient implemetation.
Are there equlivant properties can be set in Oracle HTTPClient similar to Apache HTTPClient to handle such cookie policy?

After upgrading to OS 7.1.1 Maps no longer works correctly. It is constantly "locating" and does not do real time updating. Tried "Scout" map app it does the same thing. Do I have something not properly set up for viewing Maps the way I used top?

After upgrading my iphone 4s to 7.1.1 the Maps application does not work properly. It updates very slowly and is constantly "locating". Why is this happening after the upgrade? I also tried SCOUT App it is does the same thing. It seems like it is losing the GPS position. Is there a fix for this?

How to set up for file transfers via Bluetooth

I have a blackberry bold 9000 which I need to set up to transfer some pics, etc to another phone (not a Blackberry) When I try to connect from the other phone it says
"You can't connect with target device because it lacks of the File Transfer Profile (OBEX FTP) and/or the Object Push Profile (OBEX OPP) Bluetooth services"
Can anyone tell me how to get these??
The other phone is a HTC Magic.

Which device is the "target" device? From what you describe it sounds like the HTC is the target device and that would be an issue with that device, not the BB.

I have a POP account set up in Mail, has been that way for years. Today it isn't working.

I have a POP email account that's been set up in Mail for years. Today it won't send or retrieve email, continually asks for my password but doesn't keep it. My iCloud email is fine. According to an Apple Support document, "Mail: Troubleshooting sending & receiving email" (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3276), it appears as if it's a problem with my email provider. I've spoken to the email provider and they say it's not a problem on their end. I can log into my email account using the provider's webmail and all is fine there. And, since I'm still receiving my email on my iPad & iPhone, I'm not entirely convinced it is a problem with the email provider.
When I go into Mail Preferences, my password shows blank (even when I re-enter it) and it shows my Outgoing Mail Server as Offline. When I choose Edit SMTP server list and click on the Advanced tab, my password is missing here as well. Re-entering it doesn't help.
I've tried Take All Accounts Offline then Take All Accounts Online and that doesn't work. I would delete the account and set it up again, but I get a warning message that if I delete the account, I lose everything in the account; folders, email, filters, etc. I can't afford to lose the existing emails.
I'm using Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and Mail 6.2; I believe they are both the most recent versions.

I checked the settings with Network Solutions and they are correct. As to archiving, is it possible to turn everything into one big archive or does each folder and subfolder need to be archived individually? I've looked at the documentation and I get the impression that everything is archived separately. Also I couldn't find a mention as to whether it's possible to archive or some how save all of my filters.
I use Time Machine as my general backup. I back up all the Mail files every couple weeks (on a flash drive) but now I've learned, the hard way, that's not often enough.

Setting Properties for a USB Device

I am using LabView to manipulate a live video feed that is being supplied by a USB device.
One device, a DVC100 (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/Dazzle/Dazzle+Video+Archiving/Dazzle+DVD+Recorder.htm) works perfectly, as long as I set the correct input (S-Video or composite) through a secondary program. I have tried the IMAQ USB Property Page.vi, but it does not access the input selection of the device, it does allow adjustment of some other useful features. The secondary program is NOT device specific, it is a cheap video recording program, much like Windows Movie Maker, which allows for the same input adustment.
I would like to be able to do this IN the vi that I have written, but I am not sure how to access the dll/driver to set the values. I have written something in Visual Basic before using LabVIew that was able to talk to the driver to set the input value. Is there an add-on or special vi that needs to be used to access the driver settings?
I have another USB device, a Pinnacle HD Pro Stick (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/PCTV+Tuners/PCTV+Analog_Digital+PVR/PCTV+HD+Pro+Stick) that has yet to work with my vi due to the same issue as above: I need to set the driver with specifics of the capture device. Unfortunately, setting the information in a secondary program, like above, does NOT work with this device. I believe the reason is that along with the input selection, this time there is antennae, cable, S-Video and composite, but on top of this is the frequency for the antennae and cable. The error I get from LabView is the following: Error -1074396024 occurred at IMAQ USB Grab Setup.vi Error system.
Is there something I can do in LabView directly, or is this something where I have to make a secondary program in something else to do these adjustments?

Hi rbergs,
You can use the Call Library Function Node.vi in LabVIEW to make calls to the driver dll for the device. If you have made calls to the driver dll in VB, this should be pretty similar. Please look at this DevZone article for details on using this VI.

Setting properties for alerts

Is it possible to set the default button to a particular button eg BUTTON 1, of an alert using the SET_ALERT_PROPERTY or any other subprogram for that matter. If it is then could someone help me out here.

Yeh, i did use that and it works but the problem is that we are using a standard template in our application and the template form doesnt have one alert with 'NO' as the default. So i was wondering if there is any way in which i could code to change the default Button.
