Shopping through catalog
Hi all,
When i am Shopping through catalogue, an HTML page get displayed.
When i Filled the details and click in OK button.the data from HTML get transfeerd to SRM, and a line item gets created.
Problem is: on clicking on OK some time 2 line items get created. When i again clicked on Shop and repeat the process it works fine.But if i repeat the process sometimes it creates 1 line item and some time it Creates 2.
Is there problem with internet services.

Error while shopping from catalog
Experts,
We are on SRM7/ECC6 (Ext classic)
When we are creating a shopping cart from one of the vendor catalogs, we are getting following errors
1. Unit of measure BOX is not an ISO code (I don't get this when i create a free text SC with unit of measure as BOX!!)
2. Error occured calling META_BAPI_DISPATCH (I don't get this error while shopping otherwise, but only when I shop via catalogs)
3. Not possible to calculate tax (I don't get this error while shopping otherwise, but only when I shop via catalogs)
4. Plant for follow on document missing (I don't get this error while shopping otherwise, but only when I shop via catalogs)
5. System ECCXXXX of purchasing org XXX differs from doc reference SRMXXX
Please advise as to why so many errors while catalog shopping but no error otherwise?

-> Generally one gets this error when one do/don't setup tax. Please check tax configuration.
SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings-> Tax Calculation -> Determine System for Tax Calculation -> No tax calculation.
System ECCXXXX of purchasing org XXX differs from doc reference SRMXXX
-> There has to be mis-match between ECC pur org & SRM pur org. You need to consult MM con & rectify it.

SRM Shopping Cart & Catalog Scenarios
Hi Gurus,
currently we are running SRM Project (shopping chart) with SRM-MDM Catalog.
based on our High Level architecture, we just installed instance below :
SAP SRM (AS ABAP)
SAP NW 7.4 which SRM_MDM_CAT, MDM_CONNECTOR, MDM_JAVA_API installed
SAP NW 7.4 which LM CONFIGURATION BS 1.0 and LM CONFIG SRV 7.3 installed for CTC (BS : SRM ERP Configuration V1) , this function as "small" PI/XI instead install SAP PI at separated instance (because we don't buy that license)
we did not install MDM server (honestly we confused, is it MDM running top of AS ABAP or AS JAVA?)
SAP Portal which BP SRM Installed there
our question are :
how to post configuration after install SRM_MDM_CAT, etc?? how we can check it?
when we open UTL http://hostname:5000/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
Server name, what do we must put it?
and SRM CATALOG UTILITIES
if we click connection test, look like MDM Server will be putted it.
when we run CTC , we got some skip phase, do you have manual task instead automatic use CTC?
without MDM server, is it possible running Shopping chart SRM?

As per your log first approval level having 3 approvers/agent , any one of the apporver approve the WI ( parallel processing ), it is going to next level approval, ( ie, the rest of the two agents need not to approve , the WI will automatically disappear from their inbox , until and unless it is not dynamic parallel processing )
So in your case first level is approved one of the agents out of 3 and the WI is now with the second level approver /agent ( ie, new agent of second level )

SUS - Confirmation through Catalog
Hello Folks,
Hope your day is going well...I am not lucky today.
While creating confirmation into SUS for a limit order, I tried inserting items from a catalog. Upon clicking the button "Add Item from Catalog" I encountered with an error as - Serious Error:Error in Catalog Attributes.
As far as limit PO is concerned, I believe in SUS we can insert items from the catalog at the time of confirmation. Am I missing config. settings, if any?
We are into SRM 5.0 with Extended Classic on.
May I request you to please share insight on it.

I missed to mention that respective catalog ID has already been assigned to the vendor's attribute in t-code PPOMV_BBP.
Second, the same catalog can be accessed during shopping cart creation without any hassles. (SRM and SUS both resides on same server in the same client) -
When I shop using the iTunes app for movies,tv shows etc... My iPad just inexplicably shuts off. Any ideas why or how I can stop this from happening?
Quit iTunes.
Use Disk Utility and select the drive if you can, then select Erase and the middle or security option zero all data option (will delete all data of course).
When that's finished, use iTunes to restore it.
That's how I fixed mine. Make sure it's charged up first, the Mac ports sometimes cut the power off. -
Error Opening a Catalog through Catalog manager.

How do i create a custom field in SRM_MDM shopping cart preview screen

I on SRM 5.0 MDM 2.0.
Requirement is 'temp labor'. i have a price form a speciific supplier for specific service is $80 in SRM_MDM catalog.
But i talked to supplier and they have agreed on a new price of $75. After I select this catalog item, and view the shopping cart preview screen i see "Price information and total price". I want to add a custom field to the shopping cart preview screen called "new price" to enter $75 as the new price and click recalculate to recalulate the new total price and send this to SRM for follow on functions...
is there standard functionality in SRM7 for this requirement?

I totally agree with Sudhanshu's comments. If you create a custom specific field it will always be a read-only. you can also use EForm for such usecases. Also in case of SRM-MDM Scenario, the price information field holds a standard behaviour which can't be manipulate for custom specific fields.
But if you want to achive this through the exisitng repository schema and the BADI. then you can follow the steps given below:
1. If you want to hold the value for the new price, you can create a new custom field (New Price)of type "Text" in the repository and store the price information in that field.
2. In the configuration screen, you can add the "New Price" to all the views(Result Set, Shopping Cart Preview etc).
3. In the "Shopping Cart Preview", now you can view the existing standard price information column and the newly created "New Price" column. Now you can change the quantity based on your need. Now when you click "Recalculate" button the standard price column will change and not the "New Price" column.
4. Now you can map this newly created field to any of the custom fields which were provided by default. (like NEW_ITEM-CUSTFIELD1).
5. You can make use of the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to perform the remaining calculations.
6. The BADI will hold all the catalog related data in its OCI structure. Before transferring the data to shopping cart you can modify it by multiplying the quantity with the "New Price" value and send the updated price in the OCI standard structure "NEW_ITEM_PRICE".
Now SRM shopping cart will hold the updated "New Price" for the item shopped through catalog.

Catalog to click through product list
Hello,
I am trying to get this page: http://splendourinteriors.cloudsourcecms.com/services to behave as follows. The catalogs are displayed dinamically as they are added in the back-end, when clickting through the catalog you will see the list of products. Somehow I remember seeing this done and doing this by using the overall layout to display the catalogs and the individual catalog to display the products...and I don't remember writing any special js for it, it was working out of the box.
However, now this no longer works. Clicking through catalogs it will display the list of sub-catalogs now (well, currently hidden but still there).
Was this how it always worked and I am remember it wrongly? What can I do to make it display the list of products instead on catalog clickthrough?

MariaI had a look at that site and it seems to work the way you want it to work. Services is your top level catalogue. Any catalogue you create and add it as a subcatalogue to services will show up on http://splendourinteriors.cloudsourcecms.com/services page. If you click through to any of the catalogues on http://splendourinteriors.cloudsourcecms.com/services you will get a list of products. For example, I click on catalogue-1 and I'm taken to http://splendourinteriors.cloudsourcecms.com/services/catalog-1 where I can see the products inside that catalogue.
In any case, whenever you're viewing something inside the online shop you are seeing the overall layout and tags {tag_cataloguelist} and {tag_productlist} are trying to render any subcatalogues or products the current catalogue you are viewing contains. Hope that makes sense

If you are using Application Controlled workflow then the starting conditions for each workflow are defined in transaction SWB_COND.
The attribute &_EVT_OBJECT.EXISTFREETEXTLINEITEM& ( &EC Requirement Coverage Request.Free entry exists& ) can be used to to distinguish between free text items and catalog items. In this transaction you can search for the other attributes you wish to use in the start conditions. You can also see the list of attributes via transaction SWO1. Enter Object/Interface Type = BUS2121. Hit display and expand the attributes menu.

Now as a part of configuration we have to put the plant- work order combination in it.
Like Plant and Control Key ( PM01, PM02, PM03, PM07, PM09)

Install and uninstall of .EXE application through application catalog in SCCM2012

We are able to install the application through catalog for both 32bit and 64bit windows7 operating systems.
Where as we are unable to uninstall the application for both 32 and 64bit at the same time. Either we need to give command line
%programfiles%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe to uninstall in 32bit or we need to give
%programfiles(x86)%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe to uninstall in 64bit separately.
Even if i select the option run installation and uninstall program as 32-bit process on 64bit clients and give command line as
%programfiles%\Mozilla firefox\uninstall\helper.exe it only works for 32bit systems and not for 64 bit.
Please help me to resolve this....

Creating Limit item throgh Catalog in SRM 7.0
Hi,
We have a scenario to create " Limit items" in SRM 7.0 using Catalog.Can we create "limit shopping carts" in srm using catalogs? is it standard or required any customization?
Even though, we are having order type as an identification parameter, still when we add a limit item through Catalog link, it treats it as a catalog order.Please help, if there is any way to integrate this.

Price from MDM is not transferred to shopping cart in EBP
Hi all,
we are implementing MDM 2.0/SP2 for SRM. Actually the catalog content is fully available, the only problem is that I don't get the price from catalog into shopping cart via OCI. When I browse through catalog coming from EBP every price in MDM-shopping cart (WEB UI) is displayed correctly. When I transfer the articles from MDM-shopping cart to EBP every field is transferred correctly except price. When I test with Fiddler I also don't see price coming in, and I also don't see any system message in system log SLG1 of EBP.
These are my settings:
Price in MDM data manger like:
Price Information: 1| |AVL Graz|12.14| Euro
OCI:
NEW_ITEM-PRICE Price Information -Amount (not transferred)
NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY Price Information - Currency (transferred correctly)
NEW_ITEM-PRICEUNIT Price Information - Price Base Quantity (transferred correctly)

As specified by u can see items with their prices in the Data Manager as well as in the Shopping cart but not on EBP side.
These were the settings u had specified:
OCI Mappings:
NEW_ITEM-PRICE Price Information -Amount (not transferred)

NEW_ITEM-PRICEUNIT Price Information - Price Base Quantity (transferred correctly)
Please do check wether the items which u r purchasing is having all the values populated.
Bcoz as given u havnt specified Orderunit field and Minimum Quantity UOM.
As per my understanding to purchase any item, and take it onto the EBP side with its price the Orderunit field must be populated with Unit of Measure.
After inserting values in Order unit and Minimum Quantity UOM then go and check wether its price is taken from the Shopping cart to the EBP.
Please check it will work
