Signature in sap script
Hi All,
I got one script with one error in the print layout.
Please try to understand the error in detail from my descriptions below.
Script lay out is having 6 header windows at the top, and a main window. No footer window. at the end of display of line items in main window a signature at the bottom. Signature has been defined in Mian window it self.
The main window will consists of all delivery line items of a delivery.
If the delivery contains sufficient line items that can be displayed in a single page, then the script is working fine with no issues. Suppose if the delivery line items are coming in new page(that is in second page) then the boxes designed for line items in mail window are crossing over the Signature details.
Actually these boxes for line items should end just after the last line item, and then the normal signature...
please explain me what may be the reason.
if you want to look see screen shots and layout design in details please send your personal mail id's i will attach them to you.
Please try to help me out.
Best regards,
To over come this problem try to create a new window and place it below the main window, place your signature in this new window.
write following in new window..
IF &PAGE& EQ &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES&
**Place signature
ENDIF.
or if you have driver program in your control try to read the number of line items, and pass it to form, take one counter in form and
IF <counter> NE <lineitems>
***Draw boxes
Endif.

Digital Signature for SAP Script
Hi ABAP Gurus!
Is it possible to implement the Digital signature in SAP Script.
If the printer has properties to print Signatures.
Any one implement succesfully digital signature in SAP Script.
Your suggestion and guildlines will be apprecaited.
Thanks!Hi Reddy,
What I did was a image signature. Scan the signature into a image file, upload it to system via transaction code SE78.
Call the image to be printed on your form with the below code
BITMAP 'ZMY_SIGNATURE' OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON
Is this applicable to you? -
Signature from e-pad to SAP script
Hi
I just want to know , how to transfer a digital signature into an SAP-script.
My object is truck driver will sign using electronic pad , that signature should be transfered into bill of lading Script.
Any ideas and any suggestions on this object.Hi manjari,
Showing the name and signature on the output is NOT the same thing as
a digital signature. It's simply a matter of printing the name and an
image file. This is done in your print program and SAPScript form, or
your Smartform. Also, if those signatures are considered to be in any
way sensitive (and they should be), then the signature image should be
printed by using a physical bitmap cartridge in the printer, which can
be removed and locked up when not needed.
you can visit this webpage for more information on digital-signature.

Need help with Signature on Checks using SAP SCRIPT
Hi,
I am looking for some help on how to get the Printer Resident Singature on to the Check using SAP Script. We have a HP Laser 8150 Priter in which the Chip Contains the Signature ( Printer Resident Singaure ) and currentlly the ORACLE application is able to print this signature on the checks. Right now we are in Migration to SAP and we are trying to get this Signature to print on the Check using SAP Script.
Please help us.There are many ways to do this, the simplest way to print the signature is using HEX ENDHEX command.
1. Print the Printer font list from the printer configuration menu, Find the signature in the font list, next to it there'll be esacape sequence in ASCII and Hex format.
2. Add the following command in the window of the signature:
/: HEX TYPE PCL
/= Enter the Hex escape sequence(begins with 1B) from first step
/: ENDHEX

SAP Script: Printing the signature on main window at the end
Hi,
I am working on a SAP Script (Benefits enrollment form HR_BEN_ENRO). I copied the HR_BEN_ENRO into ZHR_BEN_ENRO and making the necessary changes without modifying the driver program.
The problem I am facing is as follows:
In the main window there are so many Text elements. At the end of the main window, after the last text element, I have put some text using Include statement. The last text element is getting triggered for some employees and hence the text underneeth that is printing, but for some employees the last element is not triggering and hence nothing is printing underneeth that.
Is there any solution to print the this text at the end of main window after printing all the remaining information.
I also tried using BOTTOM & ENDBOTTOM. But in this case I don't know how to check that I am in last page of the main window. I tried the following way:
/: BOTTOM
/: IF &PAGE& = SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES&
SIGNATURE:__________ Date:__________
/: ENDIF
/: ENDBOTTOM
In this case the value I am getting for &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES& is 0 (zero).
Any solution..please.
Appreciate. How to link the ZHR_BEN_ENROL instead of HR_BEN_ENRO?
I mean when I execute the TCODE: HRBEN0001 and select particular employee and click on Print form under Offer Selection area. Then standard program calls HR_BEN_ENRO. How to replace it with Zform?
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I have one report prg wich gives op in sap script.
I want same output in pdf and have to save on hard disk.
please suggest me wat procedure i have to follow.
It's urgentA very common requirement for programmers writing ABAP code for printing using SAPScript Forms is to redirect output to a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file. I struggled for a few days trying to find a solution to this. Though I found quite a few examples on the web, it was difficult figuring out which technique was optimal. This tip is borne out of these struggles.
This is an example of how to use ABAP code to save output of a print routine using a SAPScript form into PDF format and also display it within the SAP frontend itself. This routine proves extremely useful to provide users the ability to save local copies of output and preview it within the user-friendly Acrobat Reader control, all without leaving the SAP frontend or your program. Since function modules are used, the code is portable and this technique can be used in any other ABAP program as well.
Two function modules, Z_DS_CREATE_LOCAL_PDF_FILE and Z_DS_CALL_PDF_VIEWER need to be created. I have used a function group called Z5_DS_PDF for this purpose. The function group contains the ABAP objects code for declaration and implementation of a class that encapsulates the Acrobat application functionality. The function group also contains a screen '0901', that epresents our PDF viewer and one PBO and one PAI block for the same screen.
Note: The following example has been stripped of essential error-handling for the sake of simplicity and the programmer is assumed to possess knowledge of creation of function groups, function modules, screens and SAPScript forms. ABAP objects or custom controls knowledge is not mandatory. Be patient when trying this out and follow all instructions thoroughly. The results will be worth the effort.
Steps to follow to get this example running:
1) Create a function group (Example : Z5_DS_PDF)
2) Define the top include and place the code listed below into it (LZ5_DS_PDFTOP)
3) Create screen '0901' in function group with three elements:
a) Pushbutton CLOSE at the top with function code 'CLO' (this is to exit preview screen)
b) Custom control container (Large- spanning entire screen) named MY_CONTAINER
c) The customary OK code field called OK_CODE
Note: The names of the elements should be exactly as described above
4) Create one output and one input module in the flow logic of screen '0901' for which the code is provided below
5) Define two function modules with the following signatures:
a) FUNCTION Z_DS_CREATE_LOCAL_PDF_FILE
EXPORTING
REFERENCE(AFILENAME) LIKE RLGRAP-FILENAME
TABLES
OTF_LINES STRUCTURE ITCOO
b) FUNCTION Z_DS_CALL_PDF_VIEWER
IMPORTING
VALUE(FILENAME) TYPE STRING
Code is provided below.
6) Compile and activate the function group
7) Create a simple SAPScript form with one page and one window
8) Define one element in the text for the main window called 'HELLO' and some static text in it
9) Check and activate the form
10) Create the example program (Example : Z5_DS_SCRIPT2PDF) with the below code
11) Run the example
NOTES: I tested this code in R/3 version 4.6C but it should work in all 4.6 setups. I'm pretty sure some of the ABAP objects code I have used may not work with R/3 4.0 versions and earlier. Also, it works perfectly only when Acrobat Reader is installed on the presentation server. I have checked it with Acrobat versions 4 and 5 but I haven't had the opportunity to check it with Acrobat Reader 6.

SridharHi,
You can make use of standard text...
create a standard text in SO10 with your company address
and in the footer window of your script.. use include text and provide the name of the standard text you created in SO10.
In the text editor... goto insert > text> standard
You get popup give the name of the text name id and language

What is the diff b/w Sap Scripts and Smart Forms
Hi,
Whats the diff b/w SAP Scripts and Smart Forms..
I need the internal explanation for both Smart Forms and SAP Scripts mean when we execute what happens whether Print Program r Forms starts execution 1st and SIMILARLY FOR SMARTFORMS WHETHER FM'S R FORMS.
Thanks & Regards,
Gopi.Hi
Difference with SMARTFORMS vs. SapScript(SE71)
The Following are the differences :-
a) Multiple page formats are possible in smartforms which is not the case in SAPScripts
b) It is possible to have a smartform without a main window .
c) Labels cannot be created in smartforms.
d) Routines can be written in smartforms tool.
e) Smartforms generates a function module when activated.
f) Unlike sapscripts (RSTXSCRP), you cannot upload/download Smartform to your local harddisk.
It was said that it was provided in CRM 3.0 version, but not available in R/3. You can download smartforms into Local PC in a XML format. In the same way you can upload this XML format into Smartform. From the smartform editor itself you can call download option, if you are working in CRM 3.0 environment.
In R3 also, you can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
For others, if you want to download/upload the Smartforms source, you will need the help from the Basis people. What you can do is to create a Transport and then FTP down to your local harddisk. When you need the Smartform source in another system, you have FTP up the Smartforms file back to the SAP server. Finally, the Basis team, will tp it into your system.
g) The protect and endprotect command in sapscript doesn't work with smartforms. For example on a invoice: First data of position no 80. is printed on page one, other data of position no 80 is printed on page 2. And there's nothing you can do about it. Actually, there is something you can do about it. By using a folder node and checking the 'protect' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.
