Hi All,
I created a webservice using JAVA.
Got WSDL for a SAP Funtional Module(BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA) and created Java Classes using (WSDL2Java -t XXX.wsdl ).
Wrote a Java Client Prog to invoke the services.
While Invoking the service from a Java Client program by Passing all the parameters,
and the parameters getting updated in SAP
BUT Getting the following Exception, not getting the response porperly:

Regarding to the query which I have posted may have following possibility.
This error may be due to the arguments which it gives as the output, as some of those arguments are the object of some other class.
As the web service which I am trying to access is developed in .Net and requires three parameters, out of which one parameter named as "name" is input parameter while the other two are the output parameters, which web service provide as output. And may be the output which it provides may also be developed in .Net only and thats why while passing the input variable, it is not able to convert its output variable into the String.
Please provide your valuable comments and solution to that.

I found the problem is with couple of child parameters are not registered the deserializer. There're couple of additional classes needs to be registerd.

If you posted the whole WSDL file, it would be more helpful.
I suppose your WSDL uses rpc/encoding. Both operations in your WSDL expects only one parameter of xsd:float. Well your client code passed an array float(new Object[] {new Float(3)}).
This should have caused the exception.

Deleting Child records which are not associated to any parent

Hi
We have seen that in the application though the Activty records has been deleted the child records like sample dropped and the roduct details has remained in the system. This happened cos in R18 when contact was deleted activty got deleted but the Activity child records remained in the application.
we found that child records are present by looking into record utilization.
Wanted to know if there is any way to delete these child records from teh application cos we are unable to query for them from UI as well as via webservices.
any pointers would be helpful.

There is not a reporting subject area or folder available on Books. The workaround we employed was to create a field on the entity that was assigned books and that field was checked when the books were assigned. We are using web services to assign books and the web services also updates the field "Books Assigned". This gives us a way of reporting on that field to see those records without book assigned.

Train-stop not Expected

I am developing a bounded task flow, following the JDeveloper 12c tutorials. After finishing I got two errors:
Element 'train-stop' not expected and
Element not completed 'view'

Not sure where you did wrong. You may want to look into a sample http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2011/11-sep/o51adf-452576.html which does how to use trains. It's for an older version of jdev, but should work on 12c too.

I am facing one issue in Business Rule...
Scenario: I am creating Approval Service (BPEL) with Human Work flow and Bunises Rule.
I am assingning participant in HW by using Rule based(Connecting HW and BR).
Problem here is:
Shema has "unbounded" element.

Solution found:
Click on RuleSet which you have created.
Expand Rule inside it.
Enable Advanced mode and Tree mode and click OK.
Select Root as Task and click on insert pattren and create pattren which is based on unbounded element (here its meant as fact)
Once you create pattren , will be able access elements under unbounded element for Business rule configuration.

Com.bea.xml.XmlException error for "could not create child element"

In Workshop 9.2, after I created a project with XMLBeans Builder Builder against the xsd's and created a web service control against a wsdl, I inserted the control in a client project for consumption. However, when calling into a method of the control, I got a com.bea.xml.XmlException, saying "could not create child element" for an object parameter passed in the call to the method. The relevant info in the server console looks like this:

Looking into it further, I think it's the parameter wirelessPhoneNumber, which is a complex type from xsd and a java object passed to the call sendSMSMessage, that is having a namespace problem, or other problem.
This parameter object was from XMLBeans java binding. I created and set it up like this before passing it to the call:
PhoneNumberType phoneNumberType = phoneNumberType.Factory.newInstance();
phoneNumberType.setFormat(PhoneNumberFormatEnum.FREEFORM);
phoneNumberType.setFullNumber(phoneNumber);
Obviously, com.bea.xbeanmarshal.buildtime.internal.util.XmlBeanUtil.createWrappedXBeanTopElement of XmlBeanUtil.java had a problem creating a wrapper element for it.
Any clue from anyone?

Child Elements are not getting displayed under Parent node in Portal

When I was Navigating to system administration and then to transport node in detailed navigation there the elements with EXPORT and IMPORT has to be displayed , which is not happening in my case . It shows as Loading .This is for all the nodes in the detailed navigation .

How to get the name and value of an attribute on a node/element that is not a child

Can someone shed some wisdom on how I can compare 2 xml nodes for differences.
My main challenge is I need to use the attributes/values of 'ProductDescription' and 'Features' as 'key' to identify the same node in
another doc with the same layout, but different content.
I am having trouble getting the name of the attribute on the node, 'ProductDescription' and 'Features'. I can only seem to get the node names, but not the attributes on the node. I need the name, because it can be different from doc to doc, so
I can't hardcode this.
Can someone please help with how to retrieve an attribute name/value on a node that is not a child. Here's an example of what
my xml looks like:

I need to compare the attributes of 'ProductDescription' and 'Features' from @mydoc1 against @mydoc2 to see if they are the same based on those 2 nodes first. If they are, then i want to show the difference in the child elements.
This will eventually be an outer join to give me the differences betw the 2 docs based on those key values (node attributes).
I used node('//*') for the path, and value('local-name(../.)', 'varchar(50)') as element
,value('.[not(@xsi:nil = "true")]','VARCHAR(255)') AS new_value
...etc...
but that only gives me the node names, and the child elements. It does not give me back the attribute names and values from the node itself.

That doesn't help the user with the serial code though.
There has to be some kind of code somewhere within the package. The disk itself does not contain one. You can look here for help with finding your serial number:

In iPhoto it was possible to go into the iPhoto prefs and set up Elements as an external editor. After using “Edit in” the image was saved back to the iPhoto library. Photos for OSX is very new, so I’m not sure whether that is possible with the new app. Have you looked for the prefs/settings? You could ask a question on the Apple forum:

ex:Consider for <enumeration> tag where it is having some value.

I tried , but when xmlelement() is not having data it will display empty tag ie </enumeration>, If xmlforest() are null it wont show tag, But i have to use xmlelement only. how can that be achived using xmlelement .

Use a SQL case - when - else end construct to only execute the xmlelement if data is present. The SQL/XML standard is very clear, xmlElement will generate an empty element if no data is present. xmlforest will not.
