Since updating to ios7 i keep getting requests to enter my password for yahoo mail, my email account, and the itunes account details too. The email is connected though and i have no problem receiving new emails. Any ideas ?
...I am also concerned as I found an email in my sent items today to someone i have never heard of before....saying hello. I suspect this might mean the problem is the yahoo account maybe hacked but I have no idea....thanks, Stewart
It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

You can't delete an existing account, you can only choose to stop using it. It will still be there should you decide to use it again in the future.

My ipad3 seems to have connection issues. It is wifi only but keeps losing the connection and is really slow in loading pages - a bit like dial-up speed! My iPhone 4s and daughters' ipad2 have no problems at all. Any ideas anyone?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I downloaded Lion and now 3 of my mail addresses are offline and I cannot access or send messages. Any ideas?
If it's because you were using Office 2004, the eight year old version of Office that was written when Intel processors were not used in Macs, then there will be no fix. Lion dropped support for PowerPC applications, as has been widely reported since Lion's release last August.
You can upgrade Office 2004 to Office 2008 or Office 2011. You can use iWorks 2009 that can open Microsoft files. You can use a number of free applications that are also capable of working with Microsoft documents. You can go back to Snow Leopard, if you have a backup. Or, if you have an external drive or room to add a partition to your current drive, you can install Snow Leopard on it.

I got a new ipad2 for Christmas and I am unable to get it to accept my password for my wifi. I am using the same password that I have always used for all of my other devices. Can somebody help me????

I had the same trouble today, I kept entering the sky password but would not accept, my iMac and iPod work ok but just could not get my iPod to work. But I found the fault, the password is case sensitive and mine on sky is in caps, the up arrows on the keypad put the caps on,but after each letter you must put the caps back or it wil revert to lower case, I hope this may help you -
Ipad keeps asking me to enter my password for my Apple ID
I have a 4th Generation 16GB 9.7" ipad, iOS 7.1.2, ipad. Woke up this morning and got a message on my iPad telling me to enter my password for my Apple ID to sign into the iCloud. I couldn't do anything else. I couldn't access any other screen. I turned off the ipad. The message was still there. I thought it was a major problem, so I decided to restore the iPad. I connected the ipad with a USB cable to my computer then followed the prompts for backing up and then restoring the ipad. Took about 1 hour. Afterwards, the message was still there.
I finally resorted to entering my password on the ipad for my Apple ID to sign into the cloud. I do not really use the cloud, and don't remember for what purpose that I set up the cloud on this ipad. After entering my password for the Apple ID, I proceeded to delete my icloud account on this ipad.
Was this original prompt a normal message ? Why did I get this message ?The security measures intended to prevent an unauthorized person from gaining access to your device. As for you other question, I don't have an answer inasmuch as I don't know a thing about your device or what prompted the request.

I have icloud on my phone with an apple id that I no longer use. I keep getting asked to enter the password for this ID. However I can't remember the password.
When I try to re-set the password, a e-mail will be send to an address I no longer use and can't access.
I then try to answer the security questions, but the date of births I enter are not accepted
Any ideas?
PaulWelcome to the Apple community.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

I did all the steps suggested by you, viz. clearing the cache and removing all the cookies of all the Google products. Unfortunately, when I tried to log into my G-mail account, the original problem I had posted, '''just returned'''! ! So, I have not been able to successfully log on to G-mail from Mozilla Firefox 8, the current version I am using.
In the mean while, I found that logging in to G-mail from the Google Chrome browser works fine. But I am not happy with the Chrome, as it lacks many of the elegant features of Firefox.
Further, from the HELP forum of G-mail,
I found that they have updated G-mail to "G-Mail2" and now to "Better G-Mail2". But I was unable to get any information on how to create an account under either of those newer versions from Firefox.
So, I have to sadly report that your suggested solution did not work, nor was I able to log in to any of the newer versions.

Why do I keep getting message to enter iCloud password?
Whenever I quit Mail and then reopen it, I get a drop-down message: "Mail can't connect to the iCloud account 'xxxx@mecom'. Enter password for user 'xxxx'." I enter my password, and all is well. Looking at Mail>System Preferences>Internet accounts>iCloud>Mail is checked. Looking at OS System Preferences>iCloud, my Apple ID is ok, Name is ok, Description is ok (iCloud). This problem started 2 days ago. What am I missing? Why isn't my Password being retained?
same thing started happening to me today. I never actually use it, but I keep connected just in case i need it. Could be a keychain prob with mav. Noticed my apple login key is in there twice, but only one has a cert. I think the cert is for my Itunes tho.

I want to know how to set firefox to remember my yahoo mail id and password. i've changed my password, but firefox only remember the old password. So, i've erased it in the security settings.
If the name stays the same and you only need to change (update) the stored password then fill the name in the login form and let Firefox fill the wrong password.
You may have to press the Tab key to fill the password field.
If you replace the wrong password with the new password then Firefox should offer to store the new password.
Yahoo uses "autocomplete=off" to prevent Firefox from saving passwords, so you need to use the ''Remember Password'' bookmarklet.
You can verify that Firefox has stored the new password: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If that didn't work then remove that name and password and Firefox should offer to save the new password on the next visit or if you refresh the login page.

If your password is accepted, and Mail connects to the account, but you're prompted for the password repeatedly, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Note: these steps don't apply if the server rejects the password. That's a different problem.
Step 1
When prompted for the password, check the box marked Remember this password in my keychain.
Step 2
Check that the keychain is working.
Step 3
Check that the default keychain is unlocked. -
After the most recent Firfox update, the Add-on page locks up when I click on options for any add-on. Also my AddThis button is gone.

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? After the latest iTunes upgrade, every time you open up iTunes, a window pops up asking you to sign in with your Apple ID to check for available downloads? Why is it asking this if your account is already stored on the computer? How do you stop this from asking each time? Thanks.
