Since upgrading to ios7 my iPhone 4S will no longer play music through docking station, worked fine before upgrade, it's charging but not playing any music at all
MY phone worked fine with the docking station before upgrading to ios7 now it's not playing music but still charging the phone, anyone have any ideas to what I could do to fix this please?

I updated my iphone 4 to ios7 three days ago. It now will only charge if connected to a computer USB port, either Mac or windows. It no longer charges on any wall mounted USB cable, like it did before the upgrade. The wall mounted cables still work just fine with an iPhone 4S and a new iPad retina display but not at all with the iPhone 4. Took it to a genius at apple store and they checked the battery. It still charges to 80% of original. They were clueless and suggested I replace the unit. It seemed to be related to ios7

HT4528 iphone 5 - dock will charge but not play music.
I've read and read and read posts about this same problem with no solution found.
I have an iphone 5 that just randomly quit playing music through any docking accessories. It will continue to charge, but not play music. It worked when I first got it, but later just stopped. Same docking accessories, same cables, same phone. Nothing changed, just quit working. My phone is not jailbroken. I have restored it. I updated to the ios7 software which fixed the problem... for a day. Now we are back to it not working again!
Please, if anyone knows a way to fix this, help me!!! This is the whole reason why I own an iphone. It keeps me from having to have a seperate phone and ipod!!!
Thank you in advance.Try unplugging the docking station from power for a minute or so, then also in that time, reset your phone by holding the power button and the home button until it turns off. Then turn it back on and try again.

3rd gen iPod Nano will not sync with latest version of iTunes on new laptop. It passes the connectivity test but not the sync test under diagnostics. Worked fine on old Windows 7 laptop but not new one. From Control Panel it shows up as an Apple iPod USB Device...
Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok. -
Since updating my phone to the new operating system my phone will not charge most of the time. It shows that it is charging but the battery percentage decreases rather than increases. Is anyone else having this issue?
Are you using a non-Apple Lightning cable? iOS 7 added controls to prevent non-branded Lightning cables from working.
If you're using a genuine Apple cable then perhaps try a Reset of your iPhone. If that does not help, then do a backup and full Restore and reload your backup. -
Printing from web pages is excruciatingly slow since downloading most recent upgrades of Firefox Mozilla. I have a desktop iMac, OS 10.6.8, and an HP officejet printer 4500 G510n. The printer works fine with the Safari Browser and with woodprocessed files, but not with Firefox and web pages. Help please! It used to print fast with earlier versions of Firefox.

I have hardly any experience with HP printers but since your posting has not been replied to yet I thought I'd offer some assistance.
With the printer status and ink levels working, it shows that you have a connection to the printer. So I would look at the issue being with the protocol being used for the print queue on the Mac.
Since you have XP and Vista working, I would check the printer queue configuration on either box. In XP, go to the Properties and select Ports. Click the Configure Port tab to view the connection. If you are using RAW, then this is known as HP Jetdirect-Socket on OS X. So if you are not sure what protocol was used before I would create another printer queue, this time selecting IP > HP Jetdirect-Socket. Then enter your IP address and select the K5400dn from the Print Using menu.
If this still fails to print then please reply. There may be limitations with adding the HP driver this way that I am not aware of. There may also be other driver options you can look at, such as HPIJS. If Greg Sahli reads this posting he has expert knowledge on this matter and will be able to offer some guidance.

Does the dock manufacture say it is compatible with the 5G iPod with iOS 6.0.1?
Have you went to the manufacturer's support site? Contacted them?
Try resetting the dock. How you do that depends upon the dock

How do i get my iphone to play music through docking station speakers?
When I place my iPhone in my Bose docking station, it plays music through the iPhone's speakers. How do I get my iPhone to route music playing through the Bose's speakers? My Nano plays just fine in my docking station.
Did you check to see that shuffle is is turned off? To do this, while playing a song tap the cover art to reveal the additional controls if they are not already visible (see photo below). Then tap the shuffle button (bottom right) until it turns white (white is off).

will itunes 11 work with windows xp , I have ended up with this new version after accepting an update and now although I can view my library I can't play anything and since synching my ipod it is empty. Apple support can't seem to get it's head around the fact I'm on a PC keeps asking for an apple serial number, Help!!!

I installed the new iTunes software update this afternoon and now I can't get my Windows XP to recognize my iPhone 3Gs. It worked fined up until installing today's iTunes update. Anyone else have this issue??
iTunes 10.3.1.55 and previous verisons were freezing up at random times when I would try to connect my phone or while adding music or applications to it. I took the advice posted and restarted the AMDS. So far, that seems to have fixed my problem.

Open firefox, after the third or forth web page, firefox bogs and causes the cpu to slow down. I can close and open firefox and it speeds up for about three web pages and repeats the slow down. I have read most of the threads and this is a problem with the software and it seems you are making the users jump through hoops for nothing. I twas caused when I upgraded to FF27. I am going to re-install 26. I had the same problem on my laptop and it cured the problem. Both are running XP sp3

CAr charging?
That would be because the charger isn't putting out enough power to charge your Phone while in use. Not all car chargers are created equal in terms of output. After doing some research, I found there are some you can buy, but this one seems to be about the best option. It's $15 and you can get it on Amazon.

My iPhone 4s will no longer connect to my computer. I recently converted to iOS6. I am not sure if problem started before or after conversion. It used to connect to computer (using XP professional) via hotwire but no longer connects. I tried connecting while phone was on and while phone was shut down. Neither works. I am not getting any indication that power is going to iPhone. I also unsuccessfully tried using different wires.
my friend using a good flaslihght, check your goldplated dataport conectors in the phone for corrosion/oxidation/dirt. most problems we see like this are because of bad/missing dataports. do you have a continuity tester?

iCal was working fine before upgrading to v. 5.0.1 on my iPad. All the events from my iCloud account have disappeared and I cannot find a way to add a new event. No "+" sign, tapping doesn't work. I've tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions?

Go to iPad>Settings>iCloud, and turn Calendars "Off." Then after waiting a couple of minutes turn Calendars back "On."

After updating to IOS8.1.1 will pair for a second, then disconnect. Worked fine before update. Any Ideas?
Remove the device from the Bluetooth list in the phone, if they paired before. Then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. After that, put the device back into discovery/pairing mode and attempt to pair with the phone again.
