It seems you succeeded...the "New Message" button on every board on this site is the method.

No. This is a user-to-user community of volunteers. It is not a fee-based system where such other means would exist. Anything like that would be tied to your formal support channel, which starts with your carrier, an authorized service center, or your original place of purchase -- it varies by region and issue (and sometimes by original purchase/subscription contract), so I can't tell you what your specific formal support channel is.
cjf1973 wrote:

I've no idea what an "oke" is, but if your issues are service related, then TMO is your formal support resource. Likewise, if you purchased your device from them, then also would be your formal support channel for that.
cjf1973 wrote:

I don't know anyone here who provides fee-based service. Further, soliciting for such is a technical violation of the Ts and Cs of this site.

Ummm...sorry, but all of the misspellings there and other things make it rather hard to decipher. I'm guessing you were first told that you were crazy, and then proved to someone otherwise. But, they were unable to help. However, this is where it fell apart. They remain your formal support channel for services (and the device if you bought it from them), and have access to a formal channel to escalate issues up to BlackBerry that they cannot handle. It seems they did not do that escalation, and you may need to try again.
cjf1973 wrote:

Knowing only what you've said here, the only thing I can recommend is you returning to TMO and requesting escalation. Consider this -- you pay them for 100% of your services and thereby they are responsible for 100% of your service-related support, including escalation to BlackBerry if needed. Further, if you also bought your device from them, then they are responsible for 100% of your device support as well.

And this section is even more difficult to understand. If someone want's to respond to your fee-based request, then it must be done via PM on this site and not in public like this (so as to remain in conformance with the Ts and Cs of the site).
You are right though...your information so far is quite vague and rather impossible to understand any specifics. But I do wish you good luck!

    Hi,
NMAP gives the report for the first firewall interface it hits. In your case you have allowed tcp any any where it allows all the ports. I have mentioned only one example.... There are many in your case....
Also NMAP results will be effective once when you directly connect to outside interface or directly on to the outside LAN.

small). We want to cache a few of the tables in both a client cache and
a server-side cache. Our problem is that we want to use the cache table
to validate fields that are in our business objects and the validate
methods are methods of the business object. We are also in the middle of implementing a hybrd of the server-side /
client-side caching based on what was presented at the last forte users
    group.
We use express to build our window applications, so our caching strategy
makes use of the express generated services for its database access.
The one major difference in our strategy vs. the strategy in the white
paper is how we handle changes to the actual tables. We bassically
POST the table changed event in the SAVE method of the maintaince window
for the table. The server side then catches this event and reloads the
table and isses a table refreshed event. All the clients who have been
using this table will catch this event and NIL out their local copies of
the table. When the client side next tries to do a lookup, or validate
against the table it will then detect the NIL table and make a call to
what the white termed the server side feeder method.
We also have build a replacement to express generated lookup table that
has search capabilities for the cached tables.
I have series of lotus notes docuements that our program group is using
to implement the cache tables I'd be happy to post or e-mail them if
someone would like to see what we are doing.
Besides the advantages you would expect from caching, benefits also
    include:
1- A reduced bussines model since we have removed the lookups from the
bussines model. which speeds up generating.
2- having a full search on our lookup window
Issues that we are working on solving are...
1- our method EnoughRoom on the clinet side needs to manage the free
memory on the PC or workstation. it should remove tables that are no
longer used etc, etc... this may not be an issue if you only have a few
tables a relatively small number of records..
2- We need to learn how to determine if you are running deployed or from
the running nam or debug mode. This will be helpful so that the tables on
the server side will NOT be preloaded making testing faster.
As mentioned in a previous reply, the debugger and running man pull in
the service side stuff and the clinet side stuff into the client PC. So
we would like to destinish between running the application this way or
running deployed so we do not preload the server side cache tables.

    Pat,
The white paper and sample code you speak of is available from any
Forte Consultant. I will include it in a subsequent email to you.
As far as you questions go, the white paper does address constructing
both client and server-side CacheMgr services and discusses how to use
a server cache to feed data caches on the client. The paper and
associated sample code does not address the notion of assisting a
business object in determining which CacheMgr service it should
utilize. The patterns discussed are ones where a cache is accessed by
a window or by another service, not from a business class.
    1) checking mandatory attributes
    2) cross-field validations (i.e. if this attribute is this than
another attribute must be this ...
    3) domain ranges (i.e. valid values for gender are "M" or "F")
To address your situation I need to ask a few questions:
    Example:
    Projects
    MyBusinessClasses
MyWindows - (containing a user-visible service object CacheMgrSO)
    MySharedServices
    MyBusinessClasses supplies MyClientServices
    MyBusinessClasses supplies MySharedServices
    MySharedServices supplies MyWindows
    MyShared services CANNOT supply MyBusinessClasses
There may be an assumption I have made about how you intended to
implement a piece of this that is incorrect, but it seems like this is
a problem with the approach you've described.
    2) Where are the Validate methods on you business methods being called
from ? If they are only called from your windows, then you only need
to interact with your client-side cache. This will not alleviate the
possible problem mentioned above. I do suspect that these methods are
called from both windows and shared services, or you probably would
    not have the problem.
    3) Would it be possible for you to pass the cached data necessary for
the validation as an input to the validate methods ? For example, if
the validate method on an address class were to take as an input
parameter, an array of country codes, you could do something like the
    following from your window code:
    if self.myaddress.Validate(ClientCachMgrSO.GetCountryList()) then
    else
    self.window.messagedialog('Invalid Address');
    end if;
Obviously, you could have a similar piece of code on the server-side.
This would allow you to utilize the cache that is local to where the
validate method is being executed, and pass in the cached data that is
required for the validation. Passing the data into the validate method
will not have any adverse effect on performance because the array of
objects is passed within the given partition so is therefor passed be
    reference.
The major issue is the supplier plan relationship issue mentioned
above. This could make the possible suggestions mentioned after
    questions 2 and 3 mute.
I hope this is helpful. Have a look at my presentation from Forum and
the whitepaper I will send you and let me know if you have any more
questions. Also, further help from a consultant on site my be helpful
in implementing the approaches discussed in the paper, the approach
you are considering or any combination of the two.

  • White-list junk mail

On 10.5.8 Server, is there a way to specify a white list for trusted senders? For some reason the junk mail filter is flagging users @ourdomain as junk to the Apple Mail clients in the same domain.

    Edit the file /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf
and add one of two flavors of white list..
The first assumes you know the source mail server the email address originates from and is slightly more secure.
    whitelistfromrcvd [email protected] skytel.com
Or just whitelist the email address regardless of where it comes from.
    whitelist_from [email protected]
Or if you want to whitelist the whole domain
    whitelist_from *@domain.com

  • Leopard Server white list options

    Greetings
I have a Leopard server running 10.5.6 that is hosting IMAP mail service. I have one person who reports that he can't send mail from his company account (not hosted on the server) to his contact within the company (hosted on the server). I have NOT seen the header from his rejected mail messages. I have been asking him, but he has not sent it to me yet.
I am using spamhaus.org as a blacklist, but I verified that his company is not blacklisted.
I assume he is blocked by the spam filter for sending one too many junk messages to his friend's account. These guys send lots of junk to each other.
My question is: how can I whitelist this specific email account?
Any method that works will be fine. I have a slightly modified postfix config account to allow comcast users to connect, etc. I am not a linux expert.
    Thanks,

Ppl those who have this mobo could u please check and post whether it is ALC 889 or ALC 892 ?
Does it have DTS option in Realtek manager and also mention your operating system.
I'm looking to buy this mobo with ALC892 but no where I can see that this motherboard is available with realtek ALC892 except its mentioned in manual.
Guys please let me know if this is board is available with ALC892 or not. If not then probably I would be buying other brand/mobo.
