SmartWatch MN2 "do not disturb" mode ?

Hello Sony Mobile team !
I often wake up on the morning due to my SmartWatch vibrating on incoming calls / notifications, is there any way to put the SmartWatch in "do not disturb"-like mode during a determined period of the night or simply on user request ?
If the answer is negative, and as I develop apps for Android in my free time, is there any way I can implement this functionnality myself via Sony Add-on SDK, in order to share it with the community afterward ?
Thanks,
Lucas

Thanks for the tips...
The purpose of my question was because I thought about a sleep-analyzer application, that need user to wear the smartwatch while not being disturbed by notifications

  • My phone is not coming out from (do not disturb mode) in the scheduled off time eg in the morning?

scheduled do not disturb ,then it does not come back to normal in the morning and stays in the do not disturb mode till i change it manually

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
You will not lose data by resetting.

  • Is the Do Not Disturb mode working correctly in 2013?

I use the Do Not Disturb function between the hours of 11:30pm and 7:30am.  Starting the new year, the do not disturb mode is always on regardless of scheduled hours. I've tried powering the phone off and on.  I tried changing schedules to see if it changed anything.  It still is on all the time unless I manually turn it off.  Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,

I noticed the same issue. So far I desactivated it... It seems like a lot of issues are happening on iOS in this beginning of 2013... So far I was not able to find a fix.
UPDATE: An "auto fix" seems to be on its way: http://arstechnica.com/apple/2013/01/ask-ars-why-will-apples-do-not-disturb-bug- fix-itself-next-week/ So let's be patient.
Apple release an office "fix": http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4510?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

  • After the most recent iOS update, notification center doesn't show messages from people who are on "do not disturb mode". Anyone know how to fix it?

Originally, even if I had some messages on the "do not disturb" mode, I would still be able to preview them in the notification center. After the latest update about a week or so ago, the only messages that appear are the ones that aren't on "do not disturb". I've tried taking them all off the DND mode and turning it back on, messed with the settings, even turned my phone off and on, but nothing is working.
    Any ideas?

Follow-up to my earlier post that iPhone 6 Bluetooth not working correctly.  I purchased a Jawbone MiniJambox to use as a speaker phone in my office.  Everyone in our company thinks they are the best.  However, it is experiencing the same issues as with all my other Bluetooth headsets.  Everything works except cannot answer or hang up calls pushing the buttons on the Bluetooth devices.  The Bluetooth patio speakers in our courtyard also have the same issue.  However, my colleagues using iPhone 5 and 5s who did not update to iOS8 are using all Bluetooth devices without any issues.  Apple says it is a problem with my Bluetooth device.  Come on Apple.... This makes 7 different Bluetooth devices with different manufacturers.  You cannot possibly believe the problem is with the Bluetooth devices when iOS7 works perfectly fine...
On another issue, my iPhone 5s worked perfectly fine in my vehicle entertainment center connected via USB.  The vehicle entertainment center had complete control of my iPhone and iTunes.  However, now I plug in my new iPhone 6 and it no longer communicates with my vehicle entertainment center.  Again when I called Apple, they said my vehicle entertainment center needed a firmware update.  Are you kidding me...  That is a bunch of BS...!!!

  • When I put my phone into Do Not Disturb mode....how do I know who my favorites are who can override this feature

When I put my phone iPhone 4s into Do Not Disturb mode, how do I know who my favorites are that can over ride this feature?

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

  • Do not disturb mode still not working

I have a iPhone 4S, iPad 3 and my husbands iPhone 5 and the do not disturb mode still doesn't work right. We have Verizon wireless for our carrier. Does anyone know a fix?

Darin is right. Rogers acknowledges there is an issue but in order for a Technical Supervisior / Tier 2 Support to escalate the issue to Apple, they need the name and number of at least 10 Rogers cutomers.  If you have raised a ticket earlier, please post your previous ticket # here.  Alternatively you can email me your Rogers customer name and phone number and I will let them know.  Emails can be sent to [email protected] (I created it just for this purpose!). Thanks everyone!

    Hey Vicki990!
Here is an article with some steps that will help you address this issue:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

  • Is it possible to setup my Do Not Disturb mode not to vibrate but to let banners appear when I receive new messages?

    Hey!
I just got a new iPhone 5S and I've been trying to adapt it to my needs.
I do remember that on my 4S, I only switched between silent (with vibrate) and do not disturb modes.
When I was using the phone on do not disturb, it did not vibrate but a banner appeared when I received a new SMS or Whatsapp.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce this on my new phone.
Now it seems that I have to choose, when in do not disturb mode, between a completely silent phone (no vibrate and no banners) or a vibrating phone + banners when I receive new messages...
    Can you help me?
    Thanks a lot.
    Thiago

    Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, when I do this DND also disables notification banners... So when I receive a message I don't even know I did...
I'm going to try to be clearer: when the phone is not in use, it works just as I want it to. When only in Silence mode, it vibrates when I get something new; when on DND mode, it is completely muted.
My problem is when I'm using the phone on DND mode (for example: on the bed next to my girlfriend who is asleep), I would like to have banners for SMS and Whatsapp, but no vibration, so as to know that I got a message but discretely.
If I put on Silence notifications > Always, it does not vibrate, which is good, but it doesn't show me that I got a message at all. If i put on Silence notifications > Only while iPhone is locked, it vibrates when I receive a new message

You downloaded a profile from somewhere. If it's not one you want or need, delete it.

  • HT5463 Does the alarm clock still work whie in "Do Not Disturb" mode?

I like the idea of the DO NOT DISTURB option, but I want to make sure the Alarm clock works while its turned on since I use it daily to wake up for work!!

    Yes

  • HT5463 DO NOT DISTURB MODE

Does the caller get any notification to advise them that your phone is on DO NOT DISTURB? and does it give time frame to caller?

No. The call goes to voicemail.

  • In "do not disturb" mode, I need it to never silent calls and messages

    Hello,
I'm trying to figure this out, not that I'm on call again. Since "Do Not Disturb"  has been out I have had my phone set to auto turn on nightly. Allowing Call and messages to come though. Thinking that was the case I never thought anymore of it. Last night I got a high ticket and miss it because it was in "Do Not Disturb".
So even thought it's set to allow all calls they still get blocked? Is there was to have the IOS7 Silent feature turned off. I have e-mails and other crap getting push to my phone for my pebble so I don't want to turn that off, just make the quite at night.
    Am I SOL?
Any info on this would be great.

    Hi,
You can turn the email arrival sound off in the settings.  Thus you can still get phone calls but no email arrival sounds.  more over, you can turn the notification for the emails off (at least make it no sound).
And I think do not disturb just mutes the rings for text or calls.  it doesn't actually blocking them.
    Hope this helps.
