SOAP to SOAP call - javax.naming.Reference error - PI 7.1

Hi friends,
In our SOAP to SOAP scenario (synchronous) , we are getting the below error in SXMB_MONI.
Error:
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault: java.lang.Exception: #Begin#Exception occurred while the JNDI NamingManager was processing a javax.naming.Reference object.#End#
We have not used any custom module. In both sender & receiver CC only SAP standard module is there. Also there is no interface mapping in Interface Determination step.
We are not getting this error for all messages. But, some of the messages we are getting this error.
Kindly clarify friends.
Kind regards,
Jegathees P.

    you need to use the name java:comp/env/Country in the client.
    and the client deployment descriptor will need an ejb-ref entry:
    <ejb-ref>
      <ejb-ref-name>
        Country

  • Javax.naming.Reference

    Hi all,
    I have deployed an EJB module in PI 7.1, but when i am checking in netweaver administrators -> "problem monitor" -> JNDI browser, it is coming as <JNDI NAME> -> class Name: javax.naming.Reference. What can be the cause of this error.
    Please help if possible! Thanks!

  • Getting "museJSAssert: Error calling selector function: Reference Error: Web Pro is not defined".

    First off, I am not a coding person. I decided to use Muse becuse I am good with Illustrator and Photoshop.
    The sight I built: www.speedcinch.com is now getting a bunch of errors when it initially was working fine. I am using godaddy for a host and using their ftp.
    This is the error I am getting now: museJSAssert: Error calling selector function: Reference Error: Web Pro is not defined
    You can see how my sight is supposed to work at http://speedcinchcom.businesscatalyst.com/index.html
    I have no idea what to do. Please help.

    Well, if nothing else I've ascertained that it's not GoDaddy's connectivity issue, as the issue continues late into today, and it does vary a bit per the other error reports. Using FileZilla there are just a few timeouts in the log, enough to give some pause but not necessarily (according to GD) disruptive. I've checked the list of uploaded files against the Muse Export folder contents and everything is there. In fact, the site looks good, buttons work, rollovers, etc, but there are no images. Like everyone else, this has cost me time and money in the last 24 hours.
    Let's see what the good people at Adobe live chat have to say, and I'll share it with you.

  • JuseJSAssert Error calling selector function: Reference Error:'PIE' is undefined

    Since installing your new version of Adobe Muse yesterday I have not been able to get updated pages to upload to my website.  I have exported the html to my desktop and it looks right there but when I upload it to the website I get the following error message: MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function: Reference Error:"PIE" is undefined.   I have uploaded only the updated page but then I tried uploading the whole site MANY times and it just is NOT working.  Can I go back to the prior version as I had no problems with it.  PLEASE help!  I have worked on this for two days and am tired of it and need to get my site working properly!  Thanks for your quick response!

    Whats the site URL in question? Are you uploading the site to Business Catalyst or to a third party hosting provider? Did you try uploading all site files through a FTP client like Filezilla? Is that a specific browser/version where the problem occurs?
    Thanks,
    Vinayak

  • Javax.naming.NoInitialContextException ERROR

    I get the following error:
    Naming exception Error while connecting to the database : javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to specify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial
    I created a Java class which has a method which connects to the database using:
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    javax.sql.DataSource ds = (javax.sql.DataSource)ctx.lookup("jdbc/TMBLDB01CoreDS");
    m_connection = ds.getConnection();
    It errored out on the second line with the above error. I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.
    I got it to work with a JDBC connection but prefer to use JNDI with JDBC.
    I started the Oracle AS Containers for J2EE (OC4J) by double clicking start_oc4j.bat.
    What is missing to make this work?

    Yes by adding the following solved that issue.
      env.put(JboContext.DEPLOY_PLATFORM, JboContext.PLATFORM_LOCAL);Another thing is I have added BC4J Client as library to my project. When I run I am getting
    javax.naming.NamingException: oracle.jbo.server.InitialContextImpl [Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jbo.server.InitialContextImpl]

  • Has anyone gotten this error code: MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function: Reference error: Can't find variable: WebPro

    I haven't made any changes but this error just started. The next screen says Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact the website author. Hosting is with Business Catalyst.

  • Java.lang.ClassCastException: javax.naming.Reference

    Hi All,
    I bound a JMS topic and connection factory into the SUN file system JNDI.
    When I tried to look them up I received the execption in the subject. What does that mean? Thanks All!
    Context ctx = getInitialContext();
    TopicConnectionFactory factory = (TopicConnectionFactory)
    ctx.lookup(factoryName);
    Topic topic = (Topic)ctx.lookup(topicName);
    public static Context getInitialContext() throws NamingException {
    Properties p = new Properties();
    p.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
    "com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory");
    p.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, url);
    if (user != null) {
    p.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, user);
    if (password == null)
    password = "";
    p.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
    return new InitialContext(p);

    Hi,
    I think that it possibly means that the JMS object that
    you look up is not that class that you want. I think that
    you should check your configuration of the server. Or
    ttry not to use reference method. if the look up procedure
    can be successful, you may try to reference method then.
    Or you may dump the object information to see which object
    is looked up .
    good luck,
    Alfred Wu

    Hi!
    I have tried to deploy a very simple (Hello World like)EJB-Application. It contains a simple stateless SessionBean (with local interfaces) and a JSP which is using the EJB.
    Opening the JSP i get the following error message:

  • ERROR During call of SOAP with a SOAP- RFC- SOAP Synchronous scenario

    Hello Experts,
    I've recently created a SOAP->RFC->SOAP synchronous scenario but every time I'm invoking the SOAP via XMLSpy then i will hang and send a timeout error. Also a log in XI was generated as shown below.
    I hope you could help me on this one.
    Runtime Errors         DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
    Exception              CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    Date and Time          28.09.2010 09:31:23
    Short text
         SQL error in the database when accessing a table.
    What happened?
         The database system detected a deadlock and avoided it by rolling back
         your transaction.
    What can you do?
         If possible (and necessary), repeat the last database transaction in the
          hope that locking the object will not result in another deadlock.
         Note which actions and input led to the error.
         For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator
         You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage
         termination messages, in particular for long term reference.
         Note which actions and input led to the error.
         For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator
         You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage
         termination messages, in particular for long term reference.
    Error analysis
         An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
         The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caught
          in
         procedure "DELETE_LUW_PACKET" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
          clause.
         Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
         exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
         The reason for the exception is:
         The database system recognized that your last operation on the database
         would have led to a deadlock.
         Therefore, your transaction was rolled back
         to avoid this.
         ORACLE always terminates any transaction that would result in deadlock.
         The other transactions involved in this potential deadlock
         are not affected by the termination.
    Regards,
    Alfred

    Normally such an error comes when the DB of SAP PI is full.
    Contact your BASIS or ADMIN team and ask them to free the DB space.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • EJB Reference could not be resolved (javax.naming.NameNotFoundException)

    I am new to EJBs and am trying to get a simple Java client to run which I've generated from a EJB3.0 session bean.
    The code for the client (LoanAppFacadeClient.java) is
    package buslogic;
    import java.util.Hashtable;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    public class LoanAppFacadeClient {
    public static void main(String [] args) {
    try {
    final Context context = getInitialContext();
    LoanAppFacade loanAppFacade = (LoanAppFacade)context.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/LoanAppFacade");
    // Call any of the Remote methods below to access the EJB
    // System.out.println( loanAppFacade.getLoans( ) );
    loanAppFacade.addLoan( "Galactic Loans", 30, "fixed", 6.25 );
    String ssn = "123-12-1234";
    System.out.println(loanAppFacade.getCreditRating( ssn ));
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    private static Context getInitialContext() throws NamingException {
    Hashtable env = new Hashtable();
    // Standalone OC4J connection details
    env.put( Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "oracle.j2ee.naming.ApplicationClientInitialContextFactory" );
    env.put( Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "oc4jadmin" );
    env.put( Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "welcome1" );
    env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "ormi://localhost:23791/LoanApp");
    return new InitialContext( env );
    When the trying to run the client I get a warning:
    "WARNING: EJB Reference "ejb/LoanAppFacade" could not be resolved."
    followed by the error
    "javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: java:comp/env/ejb/LoanAppFacade not found in Lab1_BusinessServices-app-client"
    When the client was created I right-clicked on the session bean (LoanAppFacadeBean which implements LoanAppFacade) and chose New Sample Java Client.
    This automatically creates the java client and also created the following xml file (application-client.xml)
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'windows-1252'?>
    <application-client xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/application-client_1_4.xsd" version="1.4" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee">

    <remote>buslogic.LoanAppFacade</remote>
    <ejb-link>LoanAppFacade</ejb-link>
    </ejb-ref>
    </application-client>
    Could someone please help me to fix these errors?
    Thanks,
    Andrew

    I used windows for years whereby I stored all photos in folders. As macs don't use this concept I am finding it hard to organize my photos.
    You can do this on your Mac too. Just don't use iPhoto. But iPhoto is a lot more flexible.
    For instance:
    I usually sort them by month so when I say move to an album I mean I create an album called for example '2013 March' so I can easily find specific photos/videos.
    Click on the Magnifying Glass lower left to reveal the search box. Then click on the magnifying glass in the search box, and select Date. Now you can instantly find all the photos from a particular month, or day.
    File -> New Smart Album will allow you to create an automatic album for any date or date range you choose.
    Select one of the affected videos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder Window should open with the file selected. Does it play?

  • ** SOAP to SOAP call - HTTP 404 not found - invalid content type

    Hi friends,
    We have one scenario SOAP to SOAP call. It is synchronous interface. We are calling the WSDL.
    For some of the messages (not all), we are getting the error in SXMB_MONI
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 404 Not Found
    In the sender & receiver SOAP communication channel also, same error : SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 404 Not Found
    Friends, this error is not coming for all messages. For some of the messages it is coming. For example,
    10:50 - Message Processed Successfully
    10:54 - Message Processed Successfully
    10:59 - Error
    11:05 - Message Processed Successfully
    By looking threads and blogs, I implemented MessagesTransformBean in the receiver CC and added the  parameter Transform.ContentType as 'text/xml;charset=utf-8'.
    After implementing this also, error is coming for some of the messages.
    Can you kindly clarify friends, what could be the problem?
    Kind regards,
    Jegathees P.

    I'm in agreement with Stefan...
    If the problem is intermittent then the system is overloaded at certain times. You would probably need to do some JVM analysis to see the resource usage & look at increasing the memory.

    Hi Edmond,
    We faced similar problem & found alternative.
    Try out, if it works for u as well.
    1) Use HTTP Adapter instead of SOAP.
    Transport Protocol : HTTP 1.0
    Message Protocol : XI Payload in HTTP Body
    Adapter Engine : Integration Server
    Addressing type : URL Address.
    Target Host:
    Service Number :
