  • Error while executing the SOAP-XI-JDBC(syn) scenario

    Dear Forum,
    We have done SOAP-XI-JDBC(synch) scenario with out BPM.
    When we sent the request data from EP to Oracle database through XI, we got an error,Runtime in Message-Mapping transformation~.
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Runtime in Message-Mapping transformation: Cannot produce target element /ns:Customer/customers. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd at com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf3.AMappingProgram.start(AMappingProgram.java:291)
    Exception message says that it is a mapping issue. But we got the responce data from database along with this message.In message monitoring we got the message processed successfully.
    Now i am not able to understanding why it throughs an error Runtime in Message-Mapping transformatio~ first time ?
    Pls revert me to fulfill this task successfully.
    Points will be rewarded.

  • SOAP TO JDBC scenario: calling stored procedure which will return the value

    Hi
    I have Soap To Jdbc scenario in which I am going to call the Stored Procedure at target side which will be executed and it is going to return the result set .
    Result contains following values.
    return code as ( 0 Or 1) and also specific exception message if its return code as 1.
    Could you suggest me the way by which I can handled this return code and send it back to the Sap PI system then the same thing is directed the to SMTP server for sending mail to consern person.
    Regards
    Kumar

    The OUT parameters of stored procedure will be returned as response. Where exactly are you facing the proble? Here is a complete walkthourgh
    /people/luis.melgar/blog/2008/05/13/synchronous-soap-to-jdbc--end-to-end-walkthrough
    In your case, you don't want response at sender. Instead you want to mail it. For this you may use BPM to design your scenario with following steps
    Receive (to receive data from sender)
    Send Sync (to stored procedure and get response)
    Send Async (to mail receiver)

    Prateek

  • Problem with SOAP to JDBC scenario. Please help!

    Hi Experts,
       I have configured a simple SOAP to JDBC scenario where the input data from webservice call is sent to JDBC for inserting into MSSQL database.
       The problem is that even though I have setup the QOS in SOAP channel as EO but still in SXMB_MONI I can see the message getting processed as Synchrous but getting interface mapping not found error. But the data is getting inserted in the database.
      Why is this not getting processed asynchrously? Please advice me if I am missing anything?
    Thanks

    Hi Jai,
    I am getting the same error. In my JDBC response, the source message (the actual JDBC response from the database) is in one SWCV and the target message is in another SWCV. Is this a problem?
    The following is the response from JDBC which is not mapping to the target message, which is abstract.

  • SOAP -- XI -- JDBC-Sender

    Hi All,
    i am doing a synchronous scenario from Webservices to JDBC. I try to get Data from the SQL-Database (SQL-Server). But my problem is, that i have more than one SQL-Statement .
    I am writing a program which call the Webservice. The Webservice is defined by XI and represents the Interface for the program to get Data from the SQL-Database. So I need a JDBC-Sender. This Sender allows only one SQL-Statement.
    What I want is, that my program get different Data from Database by (for example) using different methods of the Webservice. Or have I to define Webservices just as many as SQL-Statements ?
    Or do I have an error in reasoning?
    Thanks for help,
    Jens.

    Hi Krishna,
    thank you for your fast reply.
    Yes my scenario gets the data from XI-Webservice. And the XI-Webservice gets the data from the Database then again.
    I want to write a program in the .Net runtime environment. This is also a Webservice. This .Net-Webservice communicate with the XI by using the XI-Webservice which represents the interface for getting Data from Database by using JDBC-Adapter. But I don't think that you are right - using Sender XI-Webservice and Reciever-JDBC because the help says:
    "You need to configure the sender JDBC adapter to be able to send content from databases to the Integration Server"
    This is what I want: Using XI-Webservice in .Net-Webservice as a Webservice-Reference, to call methods (with sending parameters) of the XI-Webservice, which give me the result of the SQL-Statement from the JDBC-Sender.
    And at this point, there are more than one SQL-Statement necessary. This was my question: How using one XI-Webservice(-Interface) to call different SQL-Statements.
    Sorry, XI is really tricky.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Jens.

  • Problem between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver

    Hi,
    I have a asynchronous scenary between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver.
    The idea is sending an ID for updating one register.
    Table structure is:
    TABLE AS_PERSONA
        (P_RUT                         VARCHAR2(10) NOT NULL,
        P_NOMBRE                       VARCHAR2(50),
        P_APELLIDO                     VARCHAR2(50))
    The ID is the P_RUT field.
    The structure of message that I send by SOAP, is the following:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <m:MT_CONS_SOAP xmlns:m="urn:prueba:voliva">
                   <CONSULTA>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </CONSULTA>
              </m:MT_CONS_SOAP>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    The JDBC receiver structure is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA xmlns:ns0="urn:prueba:voliva">
         <Statement>
              <AS_PERSONA action="UPDATE">
                   <table>AS_PERSONA</table>
                   <access>
                        <P_NOMBRE>DELETE_BY_XI</P_NOMBRE>
                        <P_APELLIDO>DELETE_BY_XI</P_APELLIDO>
                   </access>
                   <key>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </key>
              </AS_PERSONA>
         </Statement>
    </ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA>
    When I do a call to SOAP by XMLspy, it returns a message without data, that means succesfull reply.
    I see message monitor and see the succesfull flag. But in the database it doesn't update the register.
    This scenario was proved using the File Sender and same JDBC Receiver, then result was succesfull.
    I proved SOAP Sender with a File Receiver, storing information from SOAP sender in an archive, and works well.
    Then I imagine that exist some problem between SOAP and JDBC. what could be happening ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Looks like the problem is with the JDBC receiver...try updating the value in the table by using a File-JDBC scenario..does it work..check the adapter monitor in RWB..

    Sushumna

  • Reg: How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter

    Dear Gurus,
    Here I am having one requirement. My clients wants to send data from JDBC adapter (ORcale System table) to R3 system via RFC.
    His Requirement::
    1. He is not telling the time of data flow from Oracle server so that based on that we can schedule the adapter in the Communication Channel monitoring (Availablitiy Time Planning) or Else we can Schedule by deciding the setting of the polling interval time.
    2. He is telling that When ever he waants to send the data he will place one dummy file in the File Adapter FTP location so that it will became an Indication for u to poll the jdbc adapter and to transfer the data to R3.
    3. Untill he keeps the file or gives indication he doesn;t want to communicate with Oracle server due to some security and it s a most important data base he doesn't want to disturb that Oracle Server as so many business are running  on that.....
    We Proposed::
    1. Atleast you need to tell the scheduling time or poll interval time so that we can schedule our adapter.
    but he s not accepting for this
    2. Atleast U need to give access for Data base to enter one more extra field like STATUS CODE so that we will add one number and we keep on Update in the Update table and based on that Update table statement it will poll.
    but he s not even accepting for this
    3. Finally we prposed that to create another table in the Oracle SYstem as Dulplicate Table which is similar to Standard Orginal table when ever he wants to pick the data please keep that data in this Duplicate TABle so that JDBC adapter will pick the data from thsi TABLE instead of picking the data from that standard table so that it will not effect any standard table data in the table.
    but he s not even accepting for this
    We have done some R & D:::
    1. WE approached even through BPM and via switch conditions is one scenario
       FILE RECEIVE >SWITCH CONDITION> RECEIVE AND SEND or else EXIT
    2. Using correlation in anotehr scenario means correlating File adapter and JDBC and based on one dynamica value it will goes to SEND STEP ( RECE IVE --> RECEIVE --> SEND STEPS )
    Even though we know this...concept that...we jsut tried::
    In BPM we can control the flow in XI 3.0 but we cannot Stop the Polling of JDBC adapter at backend because one the data comes from FILE adapter it will keep on HOLD untill it receives the JDBC from Oracle then based on the condition or Correlation it will goes futher SEND step means after that file adapter is picking file or not ...what ever it may be JDBC will polls at backend and brings that data to BPM"
    Hence sugest me How to Stop Polling of JDBC Adapter without Scheduling the adapter or else using STATUS CODE Update statements in JDBC Tables

    Hi! All,
    Finally I decided to do the scenario in two steps:
    1: FILE REQ --> JDBC REQ -->JDBC RES --> FILE RECV
    2: FILE RECV --> RFC
    But I am getting issue while doing first scenario
    Desgn :
    I have created 2 Synchronous interfaces :
    1) FILE 2 JDBC REQ
    In this a) out put message is FILE  Req
              b) Input msage:; FILE RES
    2} JDBC2FILE RECV
            a) Output mesage;; JDBC REQ
            b) Input Msge :: JDBC Response
    Mappings:
    1) File REQ-->JDBC REQ
    2) JDBC RES-->FILE RES
    Interface mappings:
    1: FILE 2 JDBC REQ--> JDBC 2 FLE RECV
    CONFIGURATION ::
    1: One Seder File CC
    2: Two reciever CC's one is for JDBC RECEIVER and other s FILE RECEIVER
    3; One Sender Agreement
    4: 2 Recver agreements
    5: One Interface Determination and
    6: One RECCV Determination
    My Question;;
    1. First let confirm whether my development steps are right or not ?
    2: Another thing s I am not sure reg Configuration Steps means
    whetehr one interface determination and one Receiver Determinations are required or not as these are synchronous Interfaces
    3: main Issue is::::
    If my scenario s FILE2RFC2FILE then I will get RFC response automatically but here issue is this is JDBC
    My reqquirement is By sending one Field from fILE to JDBC REQ it needs to send entire TAbLE records as a Response to file as XML
    without having Sender JDBC how can I send the JDBC Res to FILE and If that is the case then again JDBC adapter is polling which is contradict to the client requuirement which i explained above.
    pleas suggest me the Detailed steps mainly Colloboration agreements and logical routings and
    also explain in detail if i can  go for BPM
    Also give cleear blogs but before giving make sure that it contains detailed screen shots because aIready gone thorugh
    Scenario File-JDBC-RFC
    File<-->JDBC Sync coomunication.

  • JDBC insert with XMLTYPE data type

    Hi,
    SOAP to JDBC scenario. Oracle 11G as a receiver.
    Requirement is to  insert whole xml payload message in one of Oracle table fields as a xml string. Target oracle DB table column is defined with XMLTYPE data type, it has capacity to hold xml data more than 4GB. I am using graphical mapping with direct INSERT statement.
    When I try to insert xml payload with smaller size transaction goes through. However when the xml payload size increases it is giving following error in JDBC receiver communication channel monitoring.
    Could not execute statement for table/stored proc. "TABLE_NAME" (structure "StructName") due to java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01704: string literal too long
    Here is insert statement as in communication channel monitoring. (Note: XML payload with bold characters is truncated)
    INSERT INTO  TABLE_NAME (REQ_ID, OUTAGE_OBJ, TIMESTAMP, PROCESSED_FLAG) VALUES (VAL1, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>............</>, TO_DATE(2010-11-15 10:21:52,YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS), N)
    Any suggestions to handle this requirement?
    Thank you in advance.
    Anand More.

    Hi Anand,
    The problem here is definitely the length of the SQL query. i.e "INSERT INTO ......... VALUES......."
    This is what i got when i searched for this ORACLE error code:
    ORA-01704: string literal too long
    Cause: The string literal is longer than 4000 characters.
    Action: Use a string literal of at most 4000 characters. Longer values may only be entered using bind variables.
    Please ask a ORACLE DB expert on how to handle this Also i am not sure how can we handle Bind Varibales in SAP PI.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards, Gaurav.

  • JDBC Receiver Select issue

    Hi,
    in the scnario soap to jdbc i am selecting records from oracle database from the soap request and response as to be sent back to soap.
    here i am getting this error as
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'table' (structure 'Statement'): java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR document format: structure 'Statement', key element 'DATA_COMPLETE' contains no values
    even i have checked the blog /people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/07/03/jdbc-receiver-adapter--synchronous-select-150-step-by-step
    kindly suggest
    Regards
    Vijay

    for this i noticed that there are no columns in the statement...
    now to mapp this column names in request as i get only one field as input so that i can only htat filed ..
    Map that field itself to the target structure.....the values in the column wont be populated automatically.
    If the one source field contains concatenated value then using substring populate target columns accordingly.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • ABAP Proxy to JDBC syncronous method

    Hi Experts,
    I am very new to ABAP Proxy to JDBC syncronous method.
    I have used 4 DT, 4 MT, 2 MI, 2 MM and 1 IM.
    I have used reference from
    SYNCHRONOUS SOAP TO JDBC - END TO END WALKTHROUGH
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/3928. [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
    My question is in Integration Directory how many sender agrement, receiver agrement, receiver determination and interface determination should i use?
    Is my above DT , MT , MI , MM and IM is correct?
    I am not using any BPM.
    Thank you in advanced.

    for a Sync sceanrio, you will create
    1 RD
    1 ID
    1 SA (since its a ABAP proxy call this is optional)
    1 RA
