Sourcerootforupload
Hi
I am using Weblogic 8.1 SP5 and Ant 1.6.5. I am trying to use wldeploy ant task to remote deploy with upload="true" option. I get a warning saying upload is deprecated and use sourcerootforupload instead. I did some Google and found out that Weblogic 8.1 Sp5 should support sourcerootforupload option in wldeploy but it errors out.
The <wldeploy> task doesn't support sourcerootforupload attribute.
I would like to deploy given ear file remotely to the managed server as well as update Admin's upload folder. Does any one the remedy?
Thanks
Ram M
Hi Ram,
Basically I write shell scripts which internally call "java weblogic.Deployer" scripts(Recently started trying with WLST). Below is the command(before executing this set weblogic environment by executing "setWLSEnv.sh" script.
java weblogic.Deployer -adminurl t3://adminserver:port -username admin -password password -deploy -source <sourceearfileliocation> -stage -targets VASMS1,VASMS2
If you want a script, please do give me requirements. I mean how to passing which applications to deployed etc.
Thanks.
Vijay Bheemineni.

Fail to Deploy EJB to JServer in JDeveloper3.0
I had a trouble to deploy the EJBHotel example.
My env is Oracle8i in NT with JDeveloper3.0.
All IIOP & JDBC connection is fine. The user
had JAVAUSERPRIV and even JAVASYSPRIV.
The test under Published JServer Objects
has Public Read, Write and Execute Permission.
However I got the following message when I
deploy from JDeveloper (both JDK1.2 and JDK1.1).
Can someone give me direction to figure out
what privilege it needed?
Thank you very much.
