SP 2010 upgrade fails Error C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\config\WEBCONFIG.ACCSRV.XML, does not have element "configuration/configSections/sectionGroup[@name='SharePoint']"
I was upgrading my SP 2010 server to SP1 but at step 8 i get this error. I cleared configuration cache, moved the file out of the folder, got the same file from other farm where upgrade went smooth, but no success yet. I am at loss.
So i have another farm in SP1. As a fall back option i was thinking to move content database on that server and start hosting site there but now i find out pre sp1 content databse cannot be moved to sp1 farm just through content database migration.
Do only choice i have is to build dummy sp 2010 environment, move content database there and do upgrade there and move it to final production environment?
Is there anything else i can do for either upgradeing the current sp 2010 or moving it to new 2010 already on SP1?
Can pre sp1 2010 content db be moved to sp2013 sp1 directly?

How many SharePoint servers do you have? If you have more than one SharePoint server, you need to install SP1 on all servers in the farm.
Make sure you run SharePoint 2010 configuration wizard using “Run As administrator”.
Please check the log to find more information about this issue.

Today I tried to configure JAVA APM on a CentOS 6.4 server with tomcat6 installed through the normal RPM package. Adding this server to SCOM was no problem and it shows itself as a 'Deep Monitored Configuration'. The last part of enabling
JAVA APM fails. I have followed the following process:

Install web server 7U5 on Mandriva - runtime user id does not exists error
Hi,
I'm trying to install Sun Web Server 7 update 5 on Mandriva 2009 but the installation process stucks on the step where the Runtime User ID must be entered. It says that the root account doesn't exists which obviously it does. It happens both on GUI and console installs and there isn't an error nowhere, I suppose that the routine on the installer that it's used to verify the user fails on Mandriva but without an error or something I can't figure out why it's failing and try to woekaround it.
Has anyone had a similar issue while installing sun web server ?Looking a little at this problem, I can see that both useradd commands are very similar, both distros have almost the same version and the main differences between them is that Red Hat useradd has an extra option for SE Linux which Mandriva doesn't use:

If the problem lies in one of the extra options that Red Hat includes because it has a newer version of shadowutils package I could try to help upgrade it to a newest version as I'm somewhat involved in the Mandriva development community, but seeing that most of the options between the two versions are almost the same I think the problem lies somewhere else. Also taking into account that the installation as a non root user also fails with the same error, that would make me think that the problem isn't when trying to create a new user but when trying to check it's existence on the system. -
I little confuse about build ANE, I already follow all the direction, but the error always #3500 when I try to call the ANE.
I create ANE using java android.
The tools I use : Flash Builder running on Win-64 win.7. I think I must straight to the point, here what i made it first step by step;

After I create it, I copy the .swc file and extension file sample with the Sample.jar file.

I think that is a problem. You launch your application on Windows but ANE haven't got Windows-x86 implementation (also you don't include it while packaging). So your application use default implementation. But default implementation don't use any native code and cannot use ExtensionContext. And you got error.
If you don't need Windows-x86 native implementation than you need implement default implementation that different than Android-ARM. You don't need to use ExtensionContext in default implementation.

I comment it because the latest ANE that I build is contain Android-ARM and default. so I commented. but I already try it using just ANE that's just contain Android-ARM, with Android-ARM and windows-x86,and Android-ARM, and default, and Android-ARM,default,Windows-x86 the error still the same.

in action script test.as I didn't change it anythings, I just play it on extension.xml to build the ane. is there any mistake over there? Adobe air windows/C++:Error #3500: The extension context does not have a method with the name
I created a C++ dynamic dll called by air.
If the dll depends on other dlls, then the error#3500 occured. However removed other dlls, it works.
Could that mean the air can only call one dynamic dll that doesn't depend any other dlls?

I think that is a problem. You launch your application on Windows but ANE haven't got Windows-x86 implementation (also you don't include it while packaging). So your application use default implementation. But default implementation don't use any native code and cannot use ExtensionContext. And you got error.
If you don't need Windows-x86 native implementation than you need implement default implementation that different than Android-ARM. You don't need to use ExtensionContext in default implementation.

I comment it because the latest ANE that I build is contain Android-ARM and default. so I commented. but I already try it using just ANE that's just contain Android-ARM, with Android-ARM and windows-x86,and Android-ARM, and default, and Android-ARM,default,Windows-x86 the error still the same.
here the screen shoot, I embeded the ane that's i contain Windows-x86
in action script test.as I didn't change it anythings, I just play it on extension.xml to build the ane. is there any mistake over there? I get this error "Error occurred in deployment step 'Retract Solution': The solution does not have a WSP file associated with it. " when deploying my project from visual studio 2010 to
SharePoint 2010 site. I tried restarting IIS, but it didn't help. This application used to work fine until the server crashed during the deployment process. All the other applications on the same server works fine also. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Thank you for your posting!
According to your error message, it says your solution does not have a WSP file associated with it. Take a look at the file system. After you Right Click -> Deploy Solution on the VS Solution, there
should be a .wsp file at <Solution Directory>\bin\<debug|release>.
Also the error can be occurring when the developer try to deploy solutions over pre-existing solutions with material changed in the solution. Go to your Central Administration Site and then
Operations and then Solution Management. Make sure that there not already a solution with the same name deployed or installed there. If there is, remove it and try deploying again.
And you could look in logs and find if there is a below error in ULS log (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS).

On one our APO systems, I cannot administer liveCache, using database connection LCA, LDA, or LEA. Using LCA as an example, with
tcode LC10> liveCache Monitoring, I get this error:

The error messages here seems to be caused by the corrupted registries, which related with the folder association.

EVERYTIME I UPDATE SOFTWARE OR GO INTO THE CONTROL PANEL TO ITUNES TO REPAIR OR CHANGE IT GIVES ME AN ERROR MESSAGE
THIS FILE DOES NOT HAVE A PROGRAM ASSOCIATED WITH IT FOR PERFORMING THIS ACTION. PLEASE INSTALL A PROGRAM, IF IT IS INSTALLED CREATE AN ASSOCIATION TO THE DEFAULT PROGRAMS CONTROL PANELSTOP SHOUTING! Or at the very least, get the CAPS lock key fixed.

Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
