Spark check box on FlexEvent.CHANGE

Spark check box does not check/uncheck itself when the FlexEvent.CHANGE is fired on its own instance. Is it a bug in the flex frame work? but when the same is done on the mx;Checkbox it works properly.
i'm using flashbuilder 4.0 standalone with with 4.0.1 SDK in it.
eg:
checkbox.dispatchEvent(new Event(Event.CHANGE)); // this is for spark /mx - for mx the checkbox will
//uncheck/check when this event is fired
// for spark this event is not captured

I don't believe this should have had this behavior with the MX CheckBox. The change event should fire after the selected property is changed, but, dispatching it should not cause the selected property to change.
Can you describe why you would want the change event to update whether the CheckBox is selected or not?

Very elementary....what is the check box for in itunes?

Would someone please enlighten me on the functionality of the check boxes next to items in itunes? I check several songs I want to delete and then click Edit>Delete but only the ONE ITEM selected by the cursor is deleted. OK, so I know how to do shift-click to select a number of items then click Edit>Delete, but what in the dog-gone world is the check box for?!? when I search for help on "Check Box" no results are found. Also, if you like to show me how non intuitive I am by demonstrating how to find this solution in the Help menu, I would love to learn something from the exercise. Otherwise, I'm going to believe, beyond belief, that the itunes help is not very helpful!

you can multiple select songs from your list by using the CTRL or SHIFT keys, and then you can right-click on the selected items and choose delete.
the check box is actually for auto-syncing; which means that if you have some songs checked in your library, then you connect your ipod, those checked songs will automatically update on your ipod, or transfered. (of course, thats only true if you have the auto-sync option selected, and not manual update).
another thing for the checked box; if you change anything to the song like ID tags, or artwork, .... they will automatically be changed and updated on that song on the ipod next time you plug it in.
i found out that this check box thing is useful if you wanna update your ipod ONLY with the new songs added recently to your library. this way, your ipod wont update all songs, it will only do the ones checked.
you can also right click on a bunch of songs and choose check selection, or uncheck selection.

the component. You probably need to apply a TextFormat to it to
change the size.

Acrobat 9 want to change check box selection to a Tick or a X

I have created a pdf form (from word)
I used the "form field recognition"
Everything went ok but the check boxes when selected
only left a black square dot.
I would like a X or a Tick. I have read the help file below.

FWIW, the help text you posted does not apply to check box form fields, but rather Comments.
What you need to do is change the Check Box Style, which can be set to Check, Circle, Cross, Diamond, Square, or Star.
To do so manually, open the DPF, select "Forms > Add or Edit Fields", select one or more of the check boxes, right-click and select Properties, go to the Options tab, and select the style you want from the Check Box Style drop-down.

How to change status of open item management check box??

Dear Members,
There is a GL which was not defined as Open Item Management Previously.
Now we Identified and we wanted to define it as Open Item Managed account.
For ex take ..Payable Account
say there is one line item with credit balance ..to make this accoount balance as 0 (ZERO) ..we reversed the original entry ..we tried to select open item check box..
but system is not allowing us to change ..instead its giving msg"Account balance is zero but stil open items exists"
i dont understan this ..
now how to solve this problem

OK it's very easy to transfer the balance. Either u have already customised program to upload data or if the data is "little" u can just manual posting using FB01. just zerorise all balances in the old account.
Eg. old journal:
01 MAN        NIAGA SDN.              1,975.00
50 80070010   Rental-Car Park              1,975.00-
To transfer:
17 MAN        NIAGA SDN.              1,975.00-
40 80070010   Rental-Car Park              1,975.00
Means, the account will be zero.

Acrobat 9.1 Mac How do you change from Radio buttons to Check boxes?

I have a DMV Form I Downloaded and had to convert to PS then back to PDF (written originally on PC Acrobat was in XML format).
So on new form, I am able to add fields. I used the the Forms manager to automatically create the fields. Fields that were made Radio Buttons should have been Check boxes. How do change the Radio buttons to check boxes. There are a lot of them and I don't wish to have to re-key them in.

Well when I click on the box it shows a Check mark in the box. That exactly what I need because in the instructions it requires a Check mark in each of the check boxes. Normally the Med form is sent as a paper copy from DMV every two years.
Also another Tip. A PDF that has XML Content. (PC Acrobat Version).
If you want a usable PDF on Mac and get rid of the XML do the following:
Open the XML Based PDF on Mac Acrobat 9.X .
Now choose export and save as Postscript File (.ps).
Now locate and drop on Distiller 9.X.
When PDF created will be a Pristine exact replica of the XML file except Mac Acrobat can edit and create forms with it.

so...when u run the form then checkbox will unchecked.
but..at design time u can't see the effect of unchecked..

Apex 4.0: Change the Search Field to a Multi Value Check Box IR

I am new here, but hoping to be active :)
Well, now I am focusing on Apex 4 and I find really new things here. And even new order to develope needs time to get used.
Still, I am trying to change the Search Field to a Multi Value Check Box in IR. I have found how to make it in Apex version 3, but not at 4 any more.
Tutorials for apex v.3 write:
1.Click Edit Page 1 on the Developer toolbar.
The Page Definition for page 1 appears.
2. Under Items, click P1_REPORT_SEARCH.
3. From Display As, select Checkbox ans so on...
But I do not find any word "Items" in IR and especially P1_REPORT_SEARCH (I assume this should be by default). Under "Report Atributes" I find "Search bar" region, just there is no option for that. Is here any way to make search with checkboxes in v4?

Tutorial you have check for APEX 3.x probably works still in APEX 4.x if you use classic report.
As I understand you have now create interactive report that provide out of box search features.
There is no option to change IR search text field to multi select item.
What you can do with IR, is hide/disable search field.
Then you create multi select item and use it in report query where clause.

Word 2013 - check box changes to False

Situation: A user clicks New to open a form from SharePoint 2013. User completes all appropriate boxes, closes, and saves the file with an appropriate file name. When the form advances to the next user for review, the
Resubmit check box changes to False.
The XML Mapping Pane was used to insert the check box. Meaning:
Click Developer on the ribbon.
Click XML Mapping Pane.
In the XML Mapping pane, right-click Resubmit > Insert Content Control > Checkbox.
I have used this approach in the past to avoid the issue I'm describing, and it has always worked. When the form is Rejected, the Initiator must then revise the form and resubmit for review by selecting the
Resubmit check box.
Any ideas how to remedy this issue and ensure the check box never changes to False?

SAP does not allow to use change management for date, time fields. Thats the reason for not allowing change to BDTER field.

FRM-40501 Error When Attempting To Change Check Box Value

I am getting a FRM-40501 error when attempting to update/change a check box value. There are a few factors in my form setup that could be the problem, I will list them below:
My initial problem was that my INSERT statement would not trigger to fire (based on an IF statement) when my check box value was not initially set to the value of 'Y', even though the initial value was set to 'Y' in the property palette (value when checked was set to 'Y' and value when unchecked was set to 'N'). So, to remedy this I placed a specific literal select of 'Y' and aliased it back to the name of my check box name in the data block query, like: SELECT 'Y' CB_SELECT_SCHOOL FROM user_schools. Then I changed the check box to a database item (value to Yes when it was No before my "SQL select cheat" in the data block query). This made the initial value 'Y' and satisfied my IF statement before my INSERT statement in my trigger. However, now I can not update the check box item.
Does anyone know a better way to satisfy the initial value of my check box to 'Y', even though in the initial value parameter for my checkbox is set to 'Y' and forms is not really setting the initial value (when the check box is not set to a database item)?

I have fixed my issue.
I have reverted the check box to not be a database item, removed the "SQL cheat" of selecting 'Y' aliasing my checkbox name in the datablock SQL, and changed the initial value of 'N' in the check box property palette. This will force a change by the user making the check box value of 'Y', satifying my insert when-button-pressed trigger to fire and update the selected row.

Changed Agreements Check Box in VBOF

Dear All,
Can someone help me to understand the Usage of Check Box "Changed Agreements" at the bottom of the VBOF Transaction.
I read the documentation and was not able to get the exact meaning of what happens when we Tick or Untick the Check Box "Changed Agreements" in VBOF while running retrospective Rebates.
The issue we have is that in Our Production System when the Changed Agreements Check Box is checked then VBOF does not shows up any Billing Documents however when we uncheck the Check Box then documents are shown.
In Our Development System same documents are shown in both the cases.
Hence can someone explain by giving a example as to what is the difference when we Check or Uncheck the Changed Agreements Check Box. What is the Usage od the same?

Please check the following information available in the Note 105681 regarding the parameter "Changed agreements"
Normally, you should set this parameter, since an improved runtime is
achieved with a restriction to changed agreements.
You should only deactivate the parameter if changes which are relevant
for rebate occurred outside rebate agreement maintenance. These are, for
example:
    o Relevance for rebate
       - Sales organization
       - Payer
       - Document types
    o Pricing procedure
       - Add/delete rebate condition types
       - Formulas/requirements for rebate condition types
       - Reference step of a volume rebate condition type
    o Access sequences
       - Add/change/delete accesses
       - Requirements
       - Exclusive indicator
    o Condition type
- Condition exclusion indicator
    o Condition exclusion groups for rebate conditions
If parameter 'Changed agreements' is not set, in this case you should
attempt to restrict the agreements manually as much as possible.
Also consider that for the above changes you may have to set up the
rebate index (VBOX) again, no matter if you use the new rebate procedure
or not. Thus, the previous process has not been changed concerning this
point.
