ST03n - MONI data

Hello guys,
a little question about ST03n and its monitoring data. My release is ERP2005 and the settings are "sap default". So the month-data in the monitoring database is stored for 12 month.
The workload collector database which contains the aggregated data only stores it for 2 month so in ST03n i only see the last 2 months.
Now i have increased the value for "transaction profile" to 5 months.
Does the collector creates the aggreagted data from the monitoring databases again by the next daily run or have some other steps to be done?
Or is not possible to restore the old "aggregated data"?
The navigation tree for the settings is:
ST03n => Collector and performance db => Performance database => Monitoring database => Reorganisation => retetion periods for month is 12 months
ST03n => Collector and performance db => Workload collector database => Reorganisation => Control => and area WM (before it was 2 month.. now i have increased to 5 month)

Hi Stefan,
I think once you increase the value... the system starts to keep the new info upto the value you established.... meaning if you currently keep 2 months and you expand to 5 months it will start to keep the info from now on instead of going back... If you know what i mean

Hello Raju,
Please check if the SAP standard job background job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is scheduled in background of your system in periodically. Seems this job didn't run after 21st April on your system.

St03n - loads data till July 2011... how can i activate it again for presen

seems somehow that my workload monitor is not keeping the data anymore for some changes.
Can somebody let me know how can i activate it again in order to start keeping the data again?

The SAP standard job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR must be scheduled hourly in each SAP system. The job must always be scheduled in client 000 with user DDIC or with a user with the same authorization (see Note 16083 for more information).
Each entry in the TCOLL table corresponds to a report that is run when executing the RSCOLL00 report (the COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCEMONITOR or the SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR job)
The TCOLL table is maintained by using Transaction ST03 or ST03N
(ST03 > Environment > Data collector > Collector frequency, or
ST03N > 'Expert' mode > Collector & Database perf. > Monitor-collector perf.

Need Help on List of Months between Two Dates

Hello everyone,
I have a table which has startdate & enddate, and need a SELECT statement to list all months between these two dates for each given ID.
I did some test, and could not figure out how to get the startdate & enddate from testing table (instead of hard code them) in the select statement.
Could anybody please help on it (Oracle 11gR2),

From date is Day 1 of the next period(month).

which function module we can use.

Just write the code as

data: date like sy-datum, fdate like sy-datum, tdate is like sy-daum, mon(2),
mon1(2), mon2(2), year(4).
date = sy-datum.
year = date+0(4).
mon = date+4(2).
mon1 = mon + 1.
mon2 = mon + 3.
concatenate year mon1 '01' into fdate.
concatenate year mon2 '01' to tdate.
use the fdate and tdate and write the code

How to use JtextFild with java.util.Date;

My problem is that i have a date data type field inaccess in table.
Otherside i use JTextField.
First when this window show i initialize this field with current date.
The code for this is

frame of one year or at least since the start-up.
My goal is the identification of the obsolete custom developments to dismiss it.
I have found the transaction SCOV but the goal of this transaction is the estimation of the code
coverage during the test.

This kind of data is stored in table MONI - Monitor table MONI (summarized cluster table!) and in some files of the application server (in the OS behind SAP)
- Transaction STAT or ST03n use data stored in these tables
- Some FM like [SAPWL_SERVLIST_GET_LIST|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=sapwl_servlist_get_list&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] and [SAPWL_WORKLOAD_GET_STATISTIC|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=sapwl_workload_get_statistic&cat=sdn_all] may be used to get the data from each application server

Fiscal calendars in time series

we are using fiscal year variant for calendars where year start with November 25 and ends with November 24th with 12 periods.
Trouble is now we are having time bucket profiles where period considered for Fall and Spring seasons.
Spring Season YS (8/4 Months 2 Seas. FY Variant)Calendar month Period is November – June (Actual season starts from December to May)
For spring season the values are correct.
For Fall season Calendar month Period is April end day/May – December (Actual season starts from June to November)
I am getting correct value for 4 months end period: where April ends that is the 1st period.
2nd Period from May to December complete and also they are adding previous year January in 2nd period.
However December comes into next fiscal year.
For 2017 assumption is 1ST period is up to April 30th and second period is from May 1st to December 31st.

I had some how managed to implement the request for 4 months January to April and 8 months May to December and I stored it in a customization request and released to Quality.
But when I am moving to Quality it is showing no valid request exist.
Any suggestion how to correct it.

-> cpu?
-> disks?
-> client's pc?
-> overall?
most of the data needed will be found using transactions st02 (memory), st03n (performance data), st04 (database) and st06 (operating system) and (for special purposes) st05 (traces)

Parsing XML Namespace in as2

HI, I am attempting to parse some weather information from the Yahoo weather RSS feed.
This is a typical XML node;
<description>Yahoo! Weather for Palm Springs, CA</description>
I used the typical XML parsing code in as2;

I was doing pretty good until I reached a node that was formatted thus;
<yweather:forecast day="Mon" date="28 Sep 2009" low="74" high="103" text="Sunny" code="32" />
This text traced a value of undefined.
I have tried to research this and so far all I have been able to find out, is that this is a XML namespace and is very easily handled in as3. Unfortunately I have to use as2.
How do I parse out this information into a dyamic text fields?
Or failing that, where in the literature does adobe expalin how this is done?

Accessing Dynamic Internal table fields

Hello All,
I have one internal table ep_tabx having 138 columns whose data is getting displayed
by using function module reuse_alv_grid_display.
Now my query is, i have created one custom button on the appl toolbar to download ep_tabx data.
IF the user changes the the layout of the output at runtime and then presses that custom button
then i have created one dynamic internal table using call method cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table suppose <dyn_table> whose struc will be that of
dynamic fieldcatalog returned by using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_LAYOUT_INFO_GET.
And then I have put a loop on the int table ep_tabx and move corresponding to the int table
<dyn_table>. But when i download the <dyn_table> data through GUI_DOWNLOAD the
date fields data is not getting downloaded correctly. I have 4 date fields in my ep_tabx.
In the alv grid output the date is getting displayed like 08/30/2004(ie mon/date/yr) but in download
file it comes like 20040830(ie yr/mon/date and that too without /).How to access the dynamic
internal tables fields separately so asto convert them in the pgm before the download.

Search in SDN you would get loads of info on accessing dynamic itab's .
in order to convert your date format use WRITE stmt to convert the value in your itab before passing it to download FM.

I'm needing a query (preferably without a loop or function) that can get a number representing each day of a given month.
For example for the month of February, the result would be 1,2,3,....28
