Standalone/debug flash player for arch64

Hi,
Is there a way to get the standalone and/or debug flash player to run under arch64? There is no 64-Bit version of those ...
Thanks!

    How can I make an ant file that launches an AS project app in a debug flash player that traces to the flex console?
    Basically I like the control over the compiling process that I get by using Ant - but I really want traces to come up immediately without having to switch contexts.
    I have an ant file that successfully launches a swf in the flashplayer - but I don't know how to make the flex console start displaying the trace output. I assume that I will have to point it to the appropriate trace output file - but I am not sure how to have ant even address the console.  Is this possible?
    Here is the the target node from my ANT file:
        <target name="launch">
            <exec executable="${FLASHPLAYER_EXE}" errorproperty="trace.output">
                <arg line="'${DEPLOY_DIR}\test.swf'" />
            </exec>
        </target>
    Thanks for any thoughts, or alternatives!

    For the record, I ended up using Logwatcher - it worked perfectly.

And this is what i have found on there support page Raptr wants me to download "Flash for Other Browsers". Where do I get that? : Raptr Support

  • Debug Flash Player

    I am very new to Flex development and have had no luck trying
    to install the ActiveX flash player. I believe that I am supposed
    to use the one that was supplied with Flex Builder 3 found in
    <install location>/Player/win. From what I have garnered from
    tutorials, it seems that I should install the Flash Player 9 for
    debugging. Is this correct?
    I get the following error when trying to install the debug
    version of the Flash Player for IE (the ActiveX file):
    "The version of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX that you are
    trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit
    http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
    to obtain the latest, most secure version."
    It was my understanding that to do debugging correctly, I
    should be using the older flash player. Is this not correct? How do
    I get past this setting if I need to install the older player? It
    seems the Microsoft will not let me install an older player, even
    when I want to. Help!

    Get your Flash Player 10 from this link:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    And download and install the file from under the "Adobe Flash
    Player 10 — Debugger Versions (aka debug players or content
    debuggers)" section of the page.
    Or, for IE's (ActiveX) Flash Player 10 Debuggers, just use
    this link:
    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/10/flashplayer_10_ax_debug.exe

  • Cannot install Flash Player for Firefox

    I am running Windows XP HE with SP4.  IE and the latest version of Firefox are installed.
    In both IE and Firefox, on attempting to install Flash Player with the standard link, I get an error message in a small window opens, title "getPlus+(R): Error," text "Unable to load a GUI," "OK" box.  I got around this by locating a standalone installation for IE, which downloaded an installation file to my computer.  However, this does not work in Firefox, even when obtaining access to that link from Firefox.  The file executes, but Flash Player still shows as not installed in Firefox.
    I cannot find any separate standalone installer for Flash Player for Firefox.
    This error message appears to be generated by the Adobe Installer, a getPlus product.  My thought was to uninstall the Adobe Installer, and try to start over.  However, the Adobe Installer shows up in the list of installed programs reached through Control Panel, BUT clicking the button to uninstall the program does nothing.  The program remains listed.  I cannot find a location for the Adobe Installer program on my disk drive.

    As I said in my first message, Adobe DLM appears in the "Add/Remove Programs" dialogue box, but clicking the Remove button doesn't do anything.  The screen flickers for a couple of seconds, and Adobe DLM remains listed as an installed program.  There is no installed program listed under the description getPlus or NOS.
    I found useful information at http://www.findmysoft.com/news/Patch-to-Fix-Critical-Adobe-Download-Manager-Vulnerability- Released/ .  Not to put too fine a point on it, information at various locations shows that the DLM has been a troublesome program.
    IE did not list Adobe DLM, getPlus, or NOS as an addon.  Firefox listed "getPlusPlus for Adobe 16263" as a plugin. There was not other extension or plugin listed under Adobe DLM, getPlus, or NOS.
    Based on the information at the link cited above, I tried the following. First, in Firefox, I disabled the getPlusPlus for Adobe 16263 plugin.  Removing it was not an option.  First, using services.msc, I disabled the getPlus Helper service.  Removing it was not an option.  Third, I deleted the directory c:\Program Files\NOS and its subtree.  I did not find anything relevant in the Application Data directories.
    I then went to the link on the Adobe Web site to install Flash Player.  (I know, it's already installed, but I wanted to see if the DLM would now function.)  This time, the first thing that happened upon clicking the link to install it was that the site completed a new installation of DLM.  However, on proceeding to the installation of Flash Player itself, I got the same error message noted above, "A GUI could not be loaded."  So nothing changed.  Opening services.msc again, I noted that the getPlus Helper service had been reinstalled, and was no longer disabled.  The c:\Program Files\NOS directory had been recreated.  I tried manually starting the getPlus Helper service, and trying the installation again through the Adobe Web site.  Same result, no help.  And note that DLM is not being cleaned up automatically as part of this process, as is supposed to happen.
    I'm thinking that a previous installation of DLM left behind some corrupted relic that is preventing it from running properly.  Very likely an incorrect registry entry.  But good luck finding that one without help.
    NOS Micro has a link to "Contact Our Support Team" at http://www.nosltd.com/index.php/support .  Maybe as a last resort see if they would respond?  Note that I can't locate a way to get support from Adobe except by paying $39.95 per incident for telephone support.
    Thanks!

  • How do I report a bug against Flash Player for Google Chrome?

    Flash Player for Google Chrome is currently developed jointly between Adobe and Google.  Because of this relationship, we would like to encourage users that are encountering issues with Chrome's Flash Player to report bugs directly to the Chromium database.  You can do this by filling out the following form:
    New Chromium bug report
    Please include the following details:
    Operating System
    Chrome version
    Flash Player version
    URL where problem was encountered
    Steps to reproduce
    Other browsers tested
    Crash ID if applicable (visit "about:flash" in Chrome to find the appropriate crash ID.)
    If you are running into a video or 3D related bug, please navigate to "about:gpu", save and attach this information to your bug report
    Once added, please create a new forum thread (or bug report at bugbase.adobe.com) with your Chromium bug URL/number so we can follow up internally.
    Please be aware that Chrome Windows now includes a new, more secure, plugin platform for Flash Player (PPAPI).  When troubleshooting your problem, we recommend testing against the older NPAPI version of Flash Player.  Steps detailing this process can be found here:  Enable system Flash Player in Google Chrome | Windows | Mac
    Finally, you might also consider testing your issue out against the Chrome beta and Canary (alpha) builds to see if the problem has been resolved.

    Hi Ellen,
    Hope you are doing good.
    The best option would be to raise a OSS incident in the component: CA-VE-VEV or CA-VE-CAD so that my colleagues can actually investigate this further and release a bug patch if needed.
    Thank you!
    Kind Regards,

  • Is there any way to repair (re-install) the internal flash player for IE10?

    Hi eveyone,
    In short;
    been running Win 8 Pro 64-bit for a couple of days now. Decided it was time to try out some software so installed  a trial of Fix It Utilities Professional (bad decision).
    Installed it, played around for a bit and after a while I came up with the brilliant idea of running a registry clean/fix (insert facepalm) and some overall clean-up, just curious
    to seel the results.
    Being stupid and feeling lazy, cleaned everything and didn't create a backup. Everything seemed fine afterwards. Only the internal flash player for IE 10 dissapeared
    from the Add-ons list, hence the plugin itself stopped working.I've tried everything I think I've tried all the help options I could find on the Adobe site, but nothing seems to work (un-install tool,
    delete files and folders, IE's security settings back to default, checked ActiveX status and permissons, reset all data and settings for IE10 etc) Something must have been modified in the registry
    but I'm just unable to locate the problem. I also installed the latest beta for Chrome and that's working like a charm, no problems at all and the performance is great.
    So this is the error I receive:
    I'm kinda stuck now; the installer won't let me installl it because IE has a built in plugin, but it's not working in IE. It's not even visible in the add-on menu.
    I know it was a pretty stupid thing to do, but I still hope someone here knows what to do. I;m kinda running out of ideas/options (not going to edit the registry myself, because you can
    bet your money this will only have a negative outcome
    thanks in advance!

    the last thing I can think of is that OpenOffice and Windows Live Messenger also use flash, if i'm correct. E.g. in the OpenOffice folder there is a flash.dll file. Could these files be of real
    influence?
    ill copy all the current flash files and keys/values, seems the only way to clear thing ups a bit

    No, you can ask questions, but you'll have to wait until someone shows up who knows the answer.
    I do not have Windows 8 / IE10, so I don't know anything about it.
    You may have to wait until US daytime; maybe someone from the Adobe staff knows the answer.  But you may be better off asking in a IE10 forum.
    Meanwhile check if you can find any relevant information in http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/flashplayer/pdfs/flas h_player_windows8_admin_guide.pdf

  • Flash Player for Firefox on Win 8 / 64 bit

    I'm trying to install Flash Player for Firefox on a Windows 8, 64 bit system, but have been having no end of grief.
    I've finally traced the problem back to the origin, and it's happening because when I enter the info on the download page, it serves up the installer for the 32 bit version instead.
    It does in fact verify on the page that I'm requesting and downloading the 64 bit version, but what I receive and then install is 32 bit.  And consequently, I can't get Flash Player to work in Firefox.
    Is there any way at all I can access the real 64 bit Flash Player for Firefox / Windows 8?

    There is no separate 32-bit and 64-bit installer; on a 64-bit system the installer will automatically install both 32-bit and 64-bit players.
    Download the installer from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe

    how can i install flash player for window 8.1(64 bit) on my laptop?

    For Internet Explorer, you don't. Microsoft has already done it.
    For Firefox, Opera or Safari, use the Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    For Chrome, you don't need to wither because Google puts it in the browser.

    How do I download Adobe Flash Player for a computer that does not have internet?

    Hello Walter,
    that's it, usually you get and Adobe Flash Player Installer only.  For a distribution in a company, or an installation on a PC without internet access, Adobe has available an offline installer. This installer you don't need to uncompress it first. You can download the installation file from there (you must logged in with your Adobe ID): http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

    If you find anything out please share.  I have flash projects (SWF) files created in Captivate 5 that play fine in Flash and Dreamweaver, but freeze up on the web in safari, firefox, opera and chrome.  Even files that used to play just fine.  This upgrade has been a nightmare - I have spent hours troubleshooting to no avail.  It does not seem to be a problem for windows users - only macs.

  • The new versions of Flash Player for Android are still not in the Archive page!

    I feel like something is missing in the Flash Player Archive page.  Yesterday, I read that the new Flash Player version for Android 2.x/3.x is now version 11.1.111.73, and that the new Flash Player version for Android 4.x is now 11.1.115.81, but instead, all I see are previous versions of Flash Player for Android 4.x, 3.x, and 2.x!  When will the newest Flash Player versions for Android be available to the archive page?  Here's a link for the Archive Page:  http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

    Ok, we're fixing it and it should be resolved by tomorrow.  Please let me know if you can't find it by tomorrow evening.
    Thanks again for letting us know!
