Standard text from SO10 - smartform

Hi Folks,
I need to print a document with some standard text and the vendor address.
1.For this I had created the standard text in S010,how to call this standard text in the text editor of the main window?
This standard text will be the same for all the vendors.
2.I need to fetch the address of the vendor.So I had created a select option.I have to print this document with the standard text for each vendor.Text will remain the same but the vendor address differs.I had created a structure having all the fields for the address and declared in the form interface.Internal table is getting populated but it is not printing in the smartform.
How to get the document in one shot for all the vendors given in the range.

u can call the standrd text from the smartform directly :
got the smarform u created/ developed.
create text.
in the general attributes tab give the type <Include Text>
assign the standard text that u want ot inclue.
smartform will call that directly
address cn be created direclty from the smartform
in creation u will the get the option to create the address.
just give th varible and populate the varible from the program.

To transport a Standard Text through a transport request , you need to attach the standard text through the transaction RSTXTRAN.
After executing the report RSTXTRAN , you can enter first the task name then the Object as TEXT , then the name of the standard text , ID as ST, then the language as EN or something else .then execute.
you cannot attach a standard text to an unassigned task.Firat you have to either activate a smartform or a script with that task then only you have to attach a standard text.

How to transport standard text in SO10 to different system.

Hi,
I need to change the standard text in SO10. I need to change the custom text. We have a custom text id (zval) associated with it. How to transport the changes i have done from Dev to Quality to Production.
I wanted one clarification: when we create the transport manually, whether only those changes what i have done for the text can be transported or it will include all the other text which are initially present (like table entries). From the program RSTXTRAN, can you give the what are the inputs need to given.

Steps..
Create a work bench CR in the transaction SE09..
Modify the task to Development correction / Repair..
Go to the program RSTXTRAN..
In the name of correction give the task number (Not the CR number)
Give the Text Key..Your standard text name..
Press F8...
Press select all..
Then Press enter..
Then press the button "Trsfr texts to corr".
Now the standard texts will be moved to a CR..
Then release the CR and move it to QA..

How to delete standard text in SO10

Change button. After that select the menu Text-->Delete. It will delete
the Text ID

for the include text goto tcode so10.
for changing the smartform and scripts use there methods..
1. goto se63>translation->abap objects->other long texts->FS Forms and Styles---> for scripts use Forms
                                       for smartforsm use SAPSmart form
                                       for styles use Styles
2. goto se71->utilities->original language.---> source lang
(for scripts)                                                     target lang
to include the include text created in the tcode so10 in the smartforms go to general attributes of the text element--text type> include text...

If condition in standard text in so10

Hi,
Im using a standard text where ive written an IF condition but its not working.Im calling that text in my program using READ_TEXT, TEXT_CONTROL_REPLACE and TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE function modules.Im not using sapscript or smartform.All my dynamic variables are working fine but for my IF condition what is happening is IF statement is also true and ELSEIF is also true.The statement under if is also getting printed and statement under elseif is also getting printed.
Could anyone help please.

Standard text " if conditions " dont work other than scripts and smartforms.
to my surprise, if conditions have not worked even when I used them as includes in ADOBE forms.
Please handle the conditions in your program itself.

How to include the STANDARD TEXT Logo in SMARTFORM???

Im able to get the standard text logo in SAPSCRIPT used follwing command in text editor.
v_logo is dynamic variable.
/:INCLUDE &V_LOGO& OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
But in smartforms im unable to get the Standard text logo used following steps...
in Include text node
A) Text name : &V_LOGO& <
B) Text object : TEXT            >
C) Text ID      : ST                >
D) Text Language : EN          >
Why????
What are the further steps needed??

Tcode SE78 is used to import graphics into the SAP system. The transaction imports the graphics and stores it
in the BDS (business transaction server) and then it can be displayed in the form.
·        To create the graphic node , call the context menu for that node in the tree structure and choose create-
>graphic
·        Enter a name (LOGO) for the node and the description (Logo Graphic)
·        On the general attributes determine whether a colored or a black and white
·        On General Attributes use the fields object - GRPAHIC, id u2013 BMAP and name - &G_LOGO& to identify the
graphic. &G_LOGO& is variable and therefore we can print company code specific logo. Program line preceding
the graphic is required.

Locking Standard Text from being edited

Hi friends,
I am writing an interface to load Sales Orders into SAP (4.7) from an external system. I need to store information such as the sales order number, person who approved, date, time, etc from the external system into SAP for auditing purposes.
I have 2 options: extend VBAK / VBAP and paint the extra fields to Additional Data B; or put these fields in Standard Text. But because these fields are for auditing, we do not want anyone to be able to change the Standard Text once they have been saved.
My client wants to fully investigate the Standard Text option before going ahead with extending VBAK / VBAP. I have looked at where the Standard texts are defined in the IMG but can't find anywhere where you can lock the object from changes.
If anyone has any ideas or can share similiar experiences that would be appreciated.

One more suggestion..if your client is not reluctant for a small core modification then take a look at subroutine sd_word_processing_put in SAPMV45A called in module sd_word_processing_put (screen 4152)
There is a local variable called da_display in it which you can influence based on the TDID that is in focus (just set it to 'X' if you want to lock a particular TDID).
Normally (SAPLV70T)LV70T-TDID contains the TDID that user has clicked on. If it is empty then it means the user is navigating for the first time into header texts (in this case you can read XTHEAD index 1 and see whether it is the same TDID that you want to lock).
So you can check whether da_display is SPACE and T180-TRTYP is V(change mode) and T180-TCODE is VA02 and then whether (SAPLV70T)LV70T-TDID is the id that you want to lock down and then set da_display to 'X'.
Even adding fields in additional data tabs is a repair technically may be you can try the above approach (if possible)..

Standard Texts using SO10

Hi,
I am using SO10 for Interview letters, Rejection letters..etc with Text ID 'PALT'. But when ever I try to create a new text in SO10 or even display and change,it opens with a DOC/RTF format rather than the normal SAP script editor. Due to this I am not able to use the options like Insert( for program and system symbols) that are available in SAP Script editor... What can be done?? Pls guide me.. I am working on ECC 6.0 version of SAP.

Creating a Text node by right clicking on the top node in the Context Tab of the Form and then
CREATE -> TEXT.
In the properties of the TEXT node select Text type Include Text and then provide the Text Name, Text Object, Text ID and Text Language values

Special Characters not being imported from standard text(SO10) to form

I have created a standard text in SO10 and tried importing it to the adobe form, i created. I have maintained some sentences as highlighted and underlined. Text got imported perfectly on to the form, but the formatting is not being exported. Could you please help me in this issue.

Use Text modules instead of standard text

STANDARD TEXT with BITMAP command in SMARTFORM

I'd like to customize my smartform with picture defined by standard text.
I defined standard text in SO10:
/: BITMAP 'xxx' OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON DPI xxx
.. and this standard text included to my smartform.
But no picture appears.

Hi Josef!
If you want to use the graphics from SO10 you have to change the syntax. Instead of "bitmap" you should use "include", the object should be text and you need the textid. If you use the bitmap-call you should upload the image with SE78. If you're transporting your syntax from one system to the other you have to include the image in your transport order or you have to upload it in each system.
If you want good quality you should use SE78 and the BITMAP-call instead of SO10.
