Standard XSD / DTD definitions

Are there any standard XSD / DTD definitions that represents open interface tables, if so how to extract those.

Hi Sravan,
Thanks for your valuable input,
Actually when we unarchive any SAP standard repository, under XML Schema Table we will have few SAP Standard .XSD files, this files we cannot download it from console.., But I am sure we can get this .xsd files from Service Market place or through SAP Notes.
if you have any idea about where to get this Standard .xsd files..
For more information could you please refer to the below link.

  • Error while parsing OTA standard XSD

    Hi,
    I am trying to create java objects using Toplink Workbench for an XSD which corresponds to OTA 2006B standard.
    When I try to create a new JAXB project, pointing to the target XSD for which java objects have to be generated, I get the following error message -
    'Error importing schema During JAXB Project Generation, The following error was encountered while loading the schema: invalid derivation from base type "extension".'
    I am actually able to generate java code for the same xsd using JAXB from command line without problems, but i need a JDK1.4 compliant src, unlike JAXB-generated src which uses Annotations.
    Any suggestions on this please?
    Just an interesting thing - I am able to generate java objects for OTA 2005B standard XSD, but have problems compiling the generated src.
    best regards

    Maybe "extraneous" is an incorrect term.  Apparantly, based upon the writeup within Wiki, the parser I am using does not interpret the """?  How do I find which parser is being utilized and how to control it?
    <<<
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does not or cannot read external entities, then only the five built-in XML character entities (see above) can safely be used, although other entities may be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does read external entities, then the five built-in XML character entities can safely be used. The other 248 HTML character entities can be used as long as the XHTML DTD is accessible to the parser at the time the document is read. Other entities may also be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.

  • CCM 2.0 standard XSD file ?

    hello...
    we have upgraded from CCM 1.0 to CCM 2.0.
    While upgrading we are facing some issues regarding schema definition.
    Becuase in CCM 1.0 we have used our custom program to convert input in to XML file using Z programs. Now these Z programs are not supporting CCM 2.0 we are getting some schema errors.
    So can any one have standard XSD(XML schema defintion) file. If so please forward to [email protected]..
    this would be greatful to me..
    please help...

    Hello..
    please any update on this...

    Thanks a lot Sir DrClap..
    I tried to use and implement the org.w3c.dom.ls.LSResourceResolver Interface which is based on the SAX2 EntityResolver.
    please give comments the way I implement it. Here's the code:
    LSResourceResolver Implementation
    import org.w3c.dom.ls.LSInput;
    import org.w3c.dom.ls.LSResourceResolver;
    import abc.xml.XsdConstant.Path.DTD;
    import abc.xml.XsdConstant.Path.XSD;
    public class LSResourceResolverImpl implements LSResourceResolver {
         public LSResourceResolverImpl() {
          * {@inheritDoc}
         @Override
         public LSInput resolveResource(String type, String namespaceURI, String publicId, String systemId, String baseURI) {
              ClassLoader classLoader = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader();
              LSInput input = new LSInputImpl(publicId, systemId, baseURI);
              if ("http://www.w3.org/2001/xml.xsd".equals(systemId)) {
                   input.setByteStream(classLoader.getResourceAsStream(XSD.XML));
              } else if (XsdConstant.PUBLIC_ID_XMLSCHEMA.equals(publicId)) {
                   input.setByteStream(classLoader.getResourceAsStream(DTD.XML_SCHEMA));
              } else if (XsdConstant.PUBLIC_ID_DATATYPES.equals(publicId)) {
                   input.setByteStream(classLoader.getResourceAsStream(DTD.DATATYPES));
              return input;
    }I also implement org.w3c.dom.ls.LSInput
    import java.io.InputStream;
    import java.io.Reader;
    import org.w3c.dom.ls.LSInput;
    public class LSInputImpl implements LSInput {

  • XSDs/DTDs for BI reports xml

    In Oracle BI Answers, in the Advanced tab, it’ possible to see / define the XML (saw:criteria, saw:columns, saw:views etc).
    The saw:report root node defines two Siebel XML namespace :
    xmlns:saw=”com.siebel.analytics.web/report/v1″
    xmlns:sawx=”com.siebel.analytics.web/expression/v1″
    Do you, by any chance, have a clue where those schemas are documented or where can one find the XSDs/DTDs?
    Thx
    Suneesh

    Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.
    I am having a situation where the XML Publisher is producing XML output vs. PDF output for a particular report. It is generating PDF output just fine for other reports. Can you please shed some light as to the possible cause(s) for this? I would really appreciate it!What is the difference between this report and other reports?
    Please see old threads for similar discussion -- https://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=XML+ANd+Publisher+AND+PDF+AND+Output&objID=c3&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001

  • Data Integrator import XSD / DTD error

    Hi experts,
    Really need your help here!  I am trying to import an XSD or DTD schema into BODI.  I have both the XSD and DTD which I generated from the XML source file, using Altova XMLSpy.  BODI is allowing me to select the root element, but when I run the import, the memory usage on my PC against the BODI service goes to 1.5Gb, after which the following error is returned:
    Unknown error when importing metadata. (BODI-1112416)
    When I clear this error and try any other operations in the DI Designer I get out of memory errors and I have to close down the application and restart.  I am running a 4Gb RAM, Intel Core Duo, Windows 7 laptop.  I suspect the XSD / DTD structure is simply to large for BODI to parse.  The XSD and DTD is about 500Kb in size and contain over 16000 rows when viewed in a text editor!
    Any suggestions on how to process this XML in BODI will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Johann

    There may be one internally; the engineer no

  • Can I use Non-standard XSD Data Types in my XSD; if so how?

    Please help if you can, this is a complex question, so bear with me.
    Also note that I am in Livecycle 8.2 ES (not ES2 or higher).
    I am working on creating XSD schemas to map to form objects.
    I have created one master schema document that is wired into multiple forms, and I have one separate schema for reusable form objects, that I refer to as a "common node".
    All of my individual form schemas are brought together in this one Master Schema via the use of include statements.
    EXAMPLE: This is like my Master Schema
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!--W3C Schema written by Benjamin P. Lyons - Twin Technologies July 2010-->
    <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" >
    <xs:include schemaLocation="./commonElementsNode.xsd" />
    <xs:include schemaLocation="./form1111.xsd" />
    <xs:include schemaLocation="./form2222.xsd" />
    <xs:include schemaLocation="./form3333.xsd" />
    <xs:element name="form">
    <xs:complexType>
      <xs:sequence>
       <xs:element ref="commonElementsNode" />
       <xs:element ref="form1111" />
       <xs:element ref="form2222" />
       <xs:element ref="form3333" />
      </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>
    This works fine.
    I can load this up in Designer in the Data View and everything appears in the Data View hierarchy correctly, with "form" as the top node.
    And as long as I use standard "xs:" data types - everything works great.  So if I go into LiveCycle Designer and I go to File --> Form Properties --> Preview --> Generate Preview Data and generate dummy XML data - it respects my XSD conventions.
    Now here is where the problem arises:
    In these schemas, I need to define the data types.
    The client I am working for needs me to use their data types.
    These data types are not standard xs: data types, like "xs:string" or "xs:date".
    Rather, the data types are ones that have been defined in other schemas and reserved to a namespace.
    For instance, rather than use xs:date I need to use something like:  "myns:DateType"
    This "myns:DateType" is defined as:
    <xs:complexType name="DateType">
      <xs:simpleContent>
       <xs:extension base="xs:date">
        <xs:attribute name="format" type="xs:string" use="optional">
         <xs:annotation>
          <xs:documentation xml:lang="en">
           <mydoc:Name>Date Format Text</mydoc:Name>
           <mydoc:Definition>The format of the date content</mydoc:Definition>
           <mydoc:PrimitiveType>string</mydoc:PrimitiveType>
          </xs:documentation>
         </xs:annotation>
        </xs:attribute>
       </xs:extension>
      </xs:simpleContent>
    </xs:complexType>
    Note that I have redacted this data type slightly and changed the namespace to protect the anonymity of my client, but we can assume that their data type is valid and currently in use with other systems.
    It conforms to W3 standards.
    Note also how this type is an enumeration of the base type "xs:date".
    This is defined in a schema called something like "MyCoreTypes.xsd"
    There is a namespace reservation in this file that looks something like this:
    <xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified"
    xmlns:myns="http://clinetname.com/schemas/mycoretypes" >
    So there is a name space reservation there.
    In my aforementioned "Master Schema" file, I have an include statement that looks like this:
    <xs:include namespace="http://clinetname.com/schemas/mycoretypes" schemaLocation="./MyCoreTypes.xsd" />
    (let's assume that the schema is in the same folder, as the Master Schema, so we can use the "./" relative path.)
    Now the problems is that in all my forms, where I have a myns:DateType (e.g.:  in form1111, a "Date of Birth" element that looks like this: <xs:element name="OwnerBirthDt" type="myns:DateType"/> ) the XSD is not respected when the XML dummy data is generated in LiveCycle Designer implying that the XSD's data types are not being recognized properly.
    Has anyone had this problem before?
    Is there a solution?
    Is it even possible to use these kind of include or import references in LiveCycle to define a data type other that the standard "xs:" data types?
    Please let me know - it would be greatly appreciated.
    I am more than willing to clarify the question further if others are willing to help.
    Thanks -
    Ben Lyons

  • File Adapter - Native XSD - DTD to XSD

    Hello,
    a. I have to read a data file using file adapters, which is sent in the following pattern (dtd below):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="US_ASCII"?>
    <!DOCTYPE message SYSTEM "d3l.dtd">
    <message name="ITEM" type="ItemArray" object="ITEM_BO">
    <struct id="ItemRecord">
         <field name="Process_Flag"><limstring delimiter=";"/></field>
         <field name="Item_Number"><limstring delimiter="|"/></field>
         <field name="Attribute2"><limstring delimiter="|"/></field>
    </struct>
    <limarray id="itarray" contchar="*" endchar="!">
         <typeref type="ItemRecord"/>
    </limarray>
    <struct id="ItemArray">
         <field name="ItemLine"><typeref type="itarray"/></field>
    </struct>
    </message>
    b. whose sample data is as below:
    ;P;|00030||TEST1|*;P;|00040||TEST2|!
    c. I am now in the process of designing my native xsd:
    i. I can either use convert dtd to xsd (or)
    ii. create my own sample schema definition which is similar to the above data structure
    In step (i), I could not convert the dtd to xsd, due to reference to d3l.dtd file.
    If anyone can advise where this d3l.dtd file can be found and where I should place it in 'SOA' it would be really helpful.
    In step (ii), I find that through the wizard I am able to create simple csv file styles, but not able to create the above data structure due to different delimiters (; and |) and also due to delimiter-embedding of data.
    It would be really helpful if someone can advise on how I must proceed with this issue.
    Thanks,
    Santhosh

    Hello Ramana,
    As for step one, the 'd3l.dtd' is a file which all Oracle Interconnect DTDs look up to. I am not able to locate it.
    As for step two, the data file the structure is of the following pattern :
    i. entire data is in single line of the data file..
    ii. first element will be embedded with semi colon
    iii. the other elements inside pipes
    iv. end of record is indicated using *
    v. end of file is indicated using !
    These are the rules based on which the data file is built.
    I don't have much experience in creating xsd (except for simple native xsds that I have created using the native xsd wizard of Jdev-BPEL).
    Using the native XSD wizard that is available with JDev-BPEL, I trust I cannot create complex data structure which is of the above pattern.
    If there is a good tool/method through which I can create the xsd as per the above listed rule structure, please advise.
    Thanks,
    Santhosh

  • XML Standard for UI Definition

    Hi!
    I have to implement an engine that will convert one (or more) XML files based on XSD into Java objects to display a (rather complex) user interface in an Java standalone application. Before I start, I would like to know if there are XML standards out there that already allow an easy description of (complex) UIs for Java standalone applications. So far I saw XUL, XAML, XForms and others but these are either to complex or not powerful enough and as far as I know none of them is a real standard yet meaning certified by ISO or W3C.
    To clarify what complex UI means here some examples:
    - I need to define UI elements that are replaced by others at runtime without compromising the UI strucuture (e.g. replacing an editbox with a combobox)
    - I need to define reusable UI elements (reused in the sense of "define a person data sheet as a part of the whole UI once, reuse it in different applications")
    - I need to define multilevel dialog structures where starting from the main window another (modal) dialog may be called
    - I need to implement a binding for the UI elements to flexible JAXB data object definitions
    Thanks for any helpful suggestion.
    Best regard Uli

    Since there seems no straight answer to my problem, I decided to go with XHTML which I might extend by own namespace elements/attributes.

  • DTD definition in XML

    DTD is valid. DTD and XML are in the same directory.
    I can read from XML, when is validation off.
    When is validation on, it is throwing exception...
    Project path: d:/dbt
    Path to xml is: /files/xml
    In XML file :
    <!DOCTYPE ABCD SYSTEM "dictionary.dtd">

    </ABCD>
    JavaException:
    org.jdom.JDOMException: Error on line 1: Relative URI "dictionary.dtd"; can not be resolved without a base URI.
    Thanx.

    I implemented the exemple, bt I have another problem.
    My DTD includes other DTD and I have the same error for the others DTD.

  • XSD/DTD Reference in XML ISSUE

    Hi,
    What I am trying to do. Lets say that I have an XML file on a machine locally, and I want to
    parse that XML file and validate it against a XSD that is determined dynamically or
    at runtime. What I am saying is that I have an XML file that may or may
    not have a schema reference inside its top root node, but either way what I am looking to do is
    to take this loaded XML file and set an XSD reference and then validate the XML file
    against that XSD file ?
    Even if I don't have to set the XSD reference within the XML file itself, I still need to validate it against
    a XSD that will be choosen at runtime.
    Any ideas out there ?
    Thanks,

  • Problem with Struts Validation and apache dtd definition.

    Jakarta Struts
    Java Version 1.5
    We have one web application that is being a little problematic, on startup two errors are thrown relating to the same problem (errors below).
    We get 401 returned for http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/dtds/validator_1_0.dtd
    both the validation.xml and validation-rules.xml have the same doc type set as below:
    <!DOCTYPE form-validation PUBLIC
    "-//Apache Software Foundation//DTD Commons Validator Rules Configuration 1.0//EN"
    "http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/dtds/validator_1_0.dtd">
    We have the same configuration set for several other web application deployed succesfuly on the same tomcat application server without any problems. I'm not sure why this one application is causing a problem, I don't see any difference between the validation.xml and validation-rules.xml files in this application to any of the others that have been succesfully deployed, infact the validation-rules.xml is identical for all the web applications hosted on this server.
    Any ideas appreciated

  • DTD definitions

    Question:
    Is there a document available which details how DTD's are defined? I am struggling with is understanding if you define a
    tag such as, <Sales > Order> XXX<Sales Order>, how do you
    define what is valid for the element (numeric only, field
    lenghth, syntax)
    also, does the DTD define the XML file hieararchy?
    null

    Susan, what you are asking for is does the DTD permit datatype
    checking. The answer is very poorly to not at all. The XML
    Schema WG of the W3C is addressing this issue. You can review
    the current working drafts at http://www.w3.org/XML/#discussion.
    In answer to your second question, DTD's due define an XML
    document's structure which can be validated.

  • IO Standard and Pin Definition on ZC702

    Hi,
    I am currently working with a ZC702 eval board using a Microblaze processor with UART to run a "Hello World" program to a terminal. I have run Connection Automation and Block Automation but when I run generate bitstream I receive User Assigned constraint and IO Standard errors.
    The problem ports are specifically the reset, rs232_uart_rxd, and rs232_uart_txd. I know the UART pins are defined as C14 and D11 in the user manual but these pins are not available in the IO planner and I chose to assign the reset signal to a pushbutton on B5.
    Is there a reason why I can't assign these signals to their respective pins? They are not available to assign any signal to them at all, they are labeled as "Read Only".
    I inserted a screenshot of the block design for the project.

    n,
    There is the processor system (PS), and the programmable logic (PL) in Zynq.
    The PS has its own IO pins, specifically for PS functions.
    The PL has its own IO pins, as part of the IOB tiles, in the programmble logic fabric.
    The signals:  reset, rs232_uart_rxd, and rs232_uart_txd -- they are the PS signals (not PL signals).  So they are not availble to be used by the PL.  You will have to choose PL IO pins to carry these signals.  That may be quite incovenient, as the uart signals will need to go to a RS232C level shifter, USB converter, or some other terminal interface, which may not be present on the ZC702 pcb (in fact, it is not).  There is the FMC connector for PL IO, so you may need  a FMC adapter board.  I see no boards that provide a UART-USB connection, however.
    Refer to ug850 to see what is PL, and what is PS in terms of IO.
