Start CalcScript befor loading data

How can I start CalcScript befor load data?
I want clear slice in cube befor load data.
Example:
I export data with period Jan, Feb, so I must clear data in Essbase cube only fo period Jan, Feb. In the case when I export data for period Mar, I want clear data with period Mar.
I don't want use maxl because in a maxl script I must specify login and password.

The best way is to duplicate the KM - "IKM SQL to Hyperion Essbase (DATA)"
Edit command "Load data into essbase" of the KM
Update

Now you can create an interface, set staging as "SUNOPSIS MEMORY ENGINE" and just drop the essbase dataload datastore on to the target, set the KM to the one you just updated.
Then use the calc script options, so you have an interface that does not need a source and can run CALC scripts.

If you see the second record,
If data value is ZULL, then the Employee or another dimension is also NULL.
So I want to delete second records.
If it is Start routine please share the code and steps to do.

Hi Patrick ,
What user did you use to start JSPM? Was it <sid>adm? Also based on the error it seems there is something wrong with DataModel.xml JSPM uses. And you've mentioned it was copied from another system if I get it right.
So as a quick workaround you could try removing:
- Jspm.DataModel.xml
- Jspm.J2EE.DataModel.xml
- Jspm.JSPM.DataModel.xml
from ../j2ee/JSPM/data/variables directory and give JSPM another try.
Please make sure the rest of the XMLs are in place otherwise JSPM won't start.

How to get object key before load data into form?

I need to get object key (e.g. ItemCode in Item Master Data From ,docEntry in A/R Invoice From) to calculate and do something before data is loaded into this form .
I try to use SAPbouiCOM.BusinessObjectInfo.objectKey as in this code.

I can't do a calculation after data is loaded because what I'm going to do is that if the opening entry match my condition , the system will not let that user see that entry (bubbleEvent = False).
I think when formDataEvent is triggered B1 know which entry are going to load because before this event is triggered we did one of following ways
1. choose from "choose from list windows"
2. enter docEntry or itemCode or cardCode and then press Find Button
3. press "next/previous record button"
4. press linked button (orange arrow)
Choice 3 and 4 can be done by retrieve data from BusinessObjectInfo.objectKey (I've tested and it return entry key that is going to open correctly).
but 1 and 2 can't (it return empty as I mention before).

Amount field is rounding before loading data to file

Hi All,
I am loading the data from table to flatfile. i've amount column, most of the values are decimals. while loading the data it is rounding the column and loading. my source table datatype is "number (20,9)" and target file datatype is "String" for the Amount column.
if any one know the solution please reply me.

Clearing HFM Account Before Load

Good afternoon all -
I'm facing a problem that's new to me and I'm not sure where to start. I have a main FDM load for GL data. I have one subsequent load that I have set to merge into HFM instead of replace, since I don't want to clear out the data from my first load. I know in my planning application I run a batch in my FDM Custom script that runs a calc script that clears the data in that account. Alas, HFM does not have individual calc scripts - what is the best way to go about this?

When you need to load 2 separate data sources to the same entity using FDM you should create a separate HFM adapter by copying the first adapter but changing the Data Protection Value. You will need to use unique members in one of your custom dimensions to separate the data. For instance you can create 2 members in Custom4 called 'GL_Load' and 'Supp_Load'. Your first HFM adapter would have a Data Protection Value of 'GL_Load' and the second would be 'Supp_Load'. (the Data Protection Operator should be '<>' for both).
You would need to have separate locations for each of these datasources with one location pointing to your original adapter and then other pointing to the new adapter.
When the 'GL_Load' location loads data it would clear out only data in 'GL_Load' and then only load to 'GL_Load'. The 'Supp_Load' location would only clear data from the 'Supp_Load' member before loading data to it.
Note: Do not use Data Protection Values that contain the same pattern as another Data Protection Value. For example, don't use 'GL_Load' for one and 'GL_Load2' for the other because FDM only looks for that string and not the entire value. In that example a load from the 'GL_Load' location would clear data from both the 'GL_Load' member and 'GL_Load2' member because they both contain the string 'GL_Load'.

Need help in loading Data file

I am new to HFM. I am trying one example and try to load data file. But i am getting error saying period July is invalid.
Do i have to follow certain steps before loading data file.

Use the label associated with July instead of the description. The label for July in your application is probably JUL or JLY - I've seen both. Also, if the column order is the default order, you do not need the !Column_order line.

How to load data in realtime/transactional cube for BPS

I have installed the neccessary cube from business content and all the neccesary content. how do I get data in that real time/transactional cube. SInce we dont have any rules or datasource or anything so its confusing me can someone please help me.

Hi Raj,
Transactional cubes are filled with data using the BPS layouts. They do not require any update rules for this purpose.
However you can also load the data from your source system into this cube and for this you will need to usual Update rules, InfoSource etc. Before loading data you may need to check if the Cube is enabled for Reporting (in RSA1 > right click> Swtich transactional cube.

Do a backup.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Depersonalising Data Before loading into DB

I need some help on de-Personalizing customer data before loading it into the database using SSIS.
So one all the transformation done and finally want to load the data into respective tables , we need to de-personalize it.
Also, how it will handle datatype of the table for each columns need to be de-personalized ?
Later on we have to again de-cript once its tested by the testers.

We have to encrypt the data before loading the data into the table.
As we are not encrypting the client ID that can be used to join with other tables for testing purpose but tester won’t able to see the other Client Personal Data
like account number, address and DOB etc .
we have to decrypt the data back once testing is done.

In BI, one of my field was off of the data type in flat file, so got error while loading flat file to PSA, so whole file failed to load.

hi,
you can write a program to check the data type on the application server file using ABAP routine prior to loading, but even the abap routine will return error if the data types mismatches:).
Iin any case there will be a failure so i think there might not be a solution present in this case.
