Store a text file as backgroung task in GUI

I need to store the content of internal table to one text file format in presentation layer through background job.But when trying with that it shows some error "cannot ascertain code page".
Later i found GUI_DOWNLOAD doesn't support background job.Then i realised i can store the file in application layer,but i need the file to be in my presentation layer,even after i stored in application layer i have to once again use GUI_DOWNLOAD to fetch text file to presentation layer,but background job wont support this.
Is there any other way to extract file to presentation layer as background job.i know my question is quite lenghty,but for clear understanding i made like this,can anyone help me in this issue.

You can't use any FM with GUI in background
you need to copy the file to the application server,then use open dataset in background.
Now you will ask how can u copy a file in background
without using gui_upload?
you cant do this in background
use tranaction cg3z in foreground ,this will copy the file in pres server to app server
then run ur prog in backgrnd..

How to store a text file in a hash table in C#?

I am fairly new to c#. I am creating a console application project for practice. I am supposed to create a program that reads a text file (it's a poem), store it in a hash table, have two different sorts, and unhash the table. I managed to get the poem read
by using streamwriter, but now I am not sure how to store it in a hash table.
I'm not sure if I am doing this hash table correct, but I made my hash table like this to store the text file:

Hashtable in C# represents a collection of key/value pairs which maps keys to value. Any non-null object can be used as a key but a value can. We can retrieve items from hashTable to provide the key . Both keys and values are Objects.

But follow your scenario above, you just store a string path to hashtable not a file.
About saving data to a file, you can use the following code.

I'm having the same exact problem, and it appears to be similar to the problem I've had with Safari 3 since it's release. The background is always black and the pages look horrible. Same thing in the iTunes store now.
Interestingly, I saw some other posts about the new iTunes Store where people were complaining about the new White background. So something with the change to the White background makes the store useless for some Vista users.

Hi Umesh,
The data structure of the source table and the structure of the destination file are the same, right? Is the destination file a flat file? Do you have to do it through Script Task? If the destination file is a flat file, this can be done easily by using
the stock tasks/components other than .NET code. In the Data Flow Task, we choose the appropriate source adapter (such as OLE DB Source or ADO.NET Source) to extract data from the source table, perform transformation if necessary, and then load to the destination
file via a Flat File Destination. When setting up the Flat File Destination, uncheck the “Overwrite data in the file” option so that the extracted data will be appended to the existing file.
If you need to implement it through Script Task/Component indeed, you may benefit from the following code examples:

Where to store text file in Oracle9iAS created by java.io

I am developing an simple application in which i have to create a text file through java.io in Runtime. I am able to create the text file but not able to store the file int he Oracle 9iAS as it is giving the error, Permission denied. I am storing my JSP files in the Oracle Application Server. I want to know the exact place where i can store the text file in Runtime.

The test.txt file should be in the 'Run Directory" of your Project. Select Project.jpr and invoke Project settings dialog.
Click on the Runner. You will see the "Run Directory" edit field.

thanksLook, every bit of text stored in a computer is stored in a binary format. The familiar ASCII bytes format is merely the most common of them. But, to the filing system, it's just another binary file.
Java deals with many different ways of encoding text as binary. Mostly these are called "character encodings". The second most common one is UTF-8 which stores non-latin chacters as multi byte sequences. Also java can store and retrieve text from mixed file formats in which only part of the data is text.
You'll get nowhere unless you can find out what binary format the text is stored in.
In general java handles binary using Stream objects and text using Reader and Writer objects.

Michel: sync gtasks with text files

I wrote Michel, a gtaks-to-text-file synchronizer. Michel is your friendly mate that helps you managing your todo list. It can push/pull flat text files to google tasks.
Right now, it features two commands:
michel pull
prints the default todo list on the standard output
michel push <TODO.txt>
replaces the default todo list with the content of TODO.txt
Of course you need a gmail account to make it work. It uses oauth, so when you start it the first time, it will give you an url to visit and you'll have to give access to the app, then it will save a token and won't ask next time. If you want to delete the token, it is stored in $XDG_DATA_HOME/michel/oauth.dat.
The code is on github. As usual comments and patches are welcome...

Oh, I have to add that currently, the package won't build correctly. That is not due to the python2-google-api-python-client package which does not set the rights correctly. A quick and dirty fix is to
# chmod +r /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/google_api_python_client-1.0beta4-py2.7.egg-info/top_level.txt
I notified the owner of python2-google-api-python-client of the correct change to do.

Where to include Text Files?

I have am creating a j2me application that requires data access from a text file. I am using netbeans 5.5.1 mobility pack. So can anyone help me out as to where or which folder in the project directory should i store the text files so that i can access them.
Also is this the syntax to access the file correct?

Which logfile are you refering to ?
I suggest you check Oracle document to get understanding of Oracle administration.
Finding logfile could be one of many steps depends on what are you trying to achieve here.

Comma seperated fields fetched in a text file

         well in the reporting context,i am lookin forward to fetch data from the internal table and then download them into a text file,the condition of retrieval of the data is that every field should be seperated by a comma in the text file,
             currently i m using "gui download" function module and its giving out the fetched reords correctly,but i m not able to put a "," seperator between the fields.....

Open and read from text file into a text box for Windows Store

I wish to open and read from a text file into a text box in C# for the Windows Store using VS Express 2012 for Windows 8.
Can anyone point me to sample code and tutorials specifically for Windows Store using C#.
Is it possible to add a Text file in Windows Store. This option only seems to be available in Visual C#.

Using ArrayList to store Lines in a text File

Hey Guys,
I have the following program that I am using to read a text file and store each word in each line in an ArrayList. But I am getting the following error;

Instead of doing this:
bread.add(lineScanner.next());
filling.add(lineScanner.next());
System.out.println(iter1.next());
System.out.println(iter2.next());where presumably you're just printing what you just
barely added, do this:
Object breadObject = lineScanner.next();
Object fillingObject = lineScanner.next();
bread.add(breadObject);
filling.add(fillingObject);
System.out.println(breadObject);
System.out.println(fillingObject);
And get rid of the now unused iterators.Im not sure I understand quiet what is happening here. Are you creating a primitive data type of type Object and then storing all the values in that variable?
why would I do this when this only allows me to view the very last element that was added to the list? I want to view the entire list.

How do I save the virtual channel list of a task to a tab-delimited text file

I have created my data acquisition application which will save the analog inputs of the channels into columns of a text file. Now I would like to save the names of the virtual channels in the header of the file so that couple months down the road I will have no problem of knowing which column is which. How do I do it?
The way I set my application up is that the task is set up in the Measurement and Automation Explorer. In the LabVIEW program, there is an control I can pick the task I want to use, and the rest of the program will pull the necessary information based on the task chosen.

You can use a Task node located in Measurement I/O -> NiDAQmx -> Task config-->> Task node to get the devive name of the virtual channel. You can a for loop to get each individual device name and build the array of device name and analog input into one array and then write this to a text file.
