Storing and Linking from background

Hi Experts,
We have documents stored in OmniDocs Document Management systems. These documents need to be linked to SAP Business Objects (Sales Order etc.). Our development environment is Java/JCo. I had seen several posts with this scenario but need the exact BAPIs calls either ArchiveLink or DMS .
Any help in answering will be greatly appreciated
1. How to create a entry in TAO1 table or DIR? Documents in OmniDocs have doc ids .
2. How to link the entry in TAO1 table or DIR to a SAP Business Object (Sales Order)?
3. Can a SAP Business Object (sales order) be searched ? eg. by Sales Order number.

The FM ARCHIV_CONNECTION_INSERT requires the following parameters
          archiv_id             = Z1 (REPOSITORY NAME)
          arc_doc_id            = 1234567 (ARCHIVE DOCUMENT ID)
          ar_object             = ZFIINVOICE
          mandant               = CLIENT #
          object_id             = 0000006201 (invoice#)
          sap_object            = BUS20XX (Invoice object Type)
          doc_type              = PDF
pass the parameters and execute the function.

Safari doesn't "Reopen All Windows From Last Session" and links from Mail

After a crash I found myself trying to "Reopen All Windows From Last Session", then I found that if I click a link from Mail it does not open it ... as well from any other application. It's like only workin' within itself and can't interact with any other application. Plus I used a lot "Reopen All Windows From Last Session" and now it doesn't work

Same thing just happened to me. Reinstalling Saferi did not help.

How can I live trace a hand sketch line work and cut from background to apply to new coloured backgr

I placed a hand drawn scanned photo of artwork to illustrator cs4 in an attempt to trace the lines and remove from paper and add the line drawing to a brochure artwork. this to give illusion of an old artist's manuscript with drawings. first attempt with the psd file in trying to apply trace as a "hand drawn " method crashed illustrator. I tried again and used ink drawing which came out blotchy. Tried simple trace and got a warning that the file was too large. I'm thinking that the drawing itself is very soft and the paper around it is grainy and dim. I had tried to brighten and lighten in the scan mode.I did get it as far as a trace at one point and used outline stroke but then couln't fill in the lines or cut it out. I have taken it to photoshop and drew a pen selection around the soft lines and used a transparent background on it, hoping to stroke it in illustrator and drag it off over to the brochure template .But didn't try it yet. I also just made the resolution 250 and the size document to 6 x 9 in approx. But now am fearful of another experiemental attempt. Am I on the right track or is there another method to bringing in a line drawing that is not defined well and getting it to trace and remove from it's background to apply onto the illustrator document being worked on. I have done placing and tracing before but not a line work. Any suggestions that won't crash my program would be welcome. As an artist I will want to do this again and again so want to know the proper method or what I am missing. I've been using illustrator for 7 months now.

I have some suggestion one leave it as is and use a blending mode of multiply to give it a color background like this
leave it as is make it a grayscale tiff import int Illustrator and color it it in Illustrator like this
Or trace over it with the brush tool aand then give it a color ground.
Or do the original over and do a cleaner job with no tone or a minimum of tone. Then Live trace.

Firefox 32.0.1 installed on my Mac OS 10.6.8 and links from Mail no longer open. Click a link and Firefox opens, but the link doesn't appear or activate.

Some users have a similar problem to this, but if FireFox is already open the link from their mail client will activate in FireFox. For me, once I click a link in an email, FireFox immediately becomes the active application, but nothing further happens. FireFox has been the default browser for ages, but I stopped that, and set Safari as the default. Then quitting and re-opening FireFox I re-established it as the default browser, but the problem persists.

It amuses me that the email that was sent to confirm the posting of this question had a clickable link. Naturally that link did not work. Cutting and pasting it into FireFox allowed me to complete the posting process. Annoying.

Safari 8.0.2 updated on the 20Jan2015 and Link from Mail do not open | Advertisement pages opens | Blank page do not open on new window click, etc

Safari 8.0.2 was last updated on the 20Jan2015 and is my default browser.
Below listed are issues with Safari after last two updates.
When I click web link from mail, Safari does not open that link. I changed to Chrome browsing & it works.
When I click to open new window from the dock, I get last browsing page of the previous opened window web page, where by my setting is for a bank page for a new safari window. .
Every time I click on the link to open in the same browsing web page, a new tab opens with advertisement web page. How can I stop advertisement pages to open automatically.
Safari does not open first time by one finger single click on the safari icon from dock, need two finger click and then select the preferences.

I just downloaded Firefox 31.0 from Mozilla Firefox Yahoo Edition yahoo 1.30 and links from Thunderbird no longer open in Firefox when clicked on

If I copy and paste the link from the Thundervbird email into the browse window it works fine

Scheduling Alarms and Reminders from Background Task

I need to schedule alarm or a reminder from a background task.. When I try, I got the following error:
System.InvalidOperationException: BNS Error: The API can only be called from foreground app
I Know the message is pretty clear, but... Is there a workaround? I need to warn the user from time to time... depeding on a server information..

Where is the binary data of this icon stored and retrieved from Application server?

Hello guys,
Today I observed one phenomenon and could not explain it per my knowledge.
I have one url which points to an icon in application server:

I could successfully open it via chrome:
and after that I could see an entry in ICM server cache. Everything works perfectly.
Then I tried to check this icon in mime browser in SE80. To my surprise, the folder /sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/themes is empty.
However, the ICM cache shows that there is a subfolder called "sap_corbu" under "themes" folder. But why I cannot find it in mime browser?
Then I write a report to retrieve the binary data of icon via CL_HTTP_CLIENT, and clear the ICM buffer via tcode SMICM.
I expect this time some database table will be queried to load the content of the icon, since now the buffer is not available.
To my surprise again, in SAT no database table is involved.
So now I am confused: since I have already cleared the ICM server cache, where does the icon binary data come from when I run the report to access the icon?

Hello guys,
one colleague today told me that there is a zip file "ur_mimes_nw7.zip" in MIME repository /PUBLIC/BC/UR/ur_mines_nw7.zip. I download it locally and unzip it and indeed find many theme folders including sap_corbu folder and its resource files. So I guess there must be some logic done in web application server which will unzip this archive file and put each theme folder to the corresponding folders in application server. I would assume those logic are done outside ABAP stack side, this is the reason I cannot find any hint of them in ABAP backend via tcode SAT even I clear both client and server side cache.

Storing and linking audio file

The only way that I can figure out how to store a file on my iPhone is via Google Drive. I move to the public folder, turn link sharing, copy the link and then paste it here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7SHK5853zdOZGZ0ZlpkMzNDSkk/edit?usp=docslist_ap i

For what ever reason, the link opens up a new window but no there is no sound when the play button is hit. I've also noticed that the link location being copied (for the audio file) starts with "docs.google.." This makes no sense cuz its an audio file and not a documentation. What am I doing wrong? Also, when in Google Drive, an error message pops ups saying that the file is not supported and to pick an alternate program to play the file.
What am I doin wrong? Is Google drive the only way to store files via the iPhone (whether it be internally or externally?

I store countryCode and countryName in Hashtable, but how do i populate it back to my html listBox? And with sorting order?

Named Anchor linking from another document

I made a Named Anchor and linked from some text in another document. Great. Worked just fine. The only thing is it doesn't display the named anchor at the top of the page.
In other words the footer is at the bottom of the page and the named anchor in the middle of the page... not at the top. Like a #top would be.
Anyway to get it to the top of the page? Do I just need more content under it?

I wanted to link Borderline PD to:
Menu choice: Disorders... choose Personality... go down to "Cluster B" and there's Borderline PD.
The link worked but the named anchor "Borderline PD" is in the middle of the page.

Get photo from archive link and link into WDA Image UI

I have employee photos stored in archive link under PREL HRICOLFOTO object.
The question is: how can I get the image and link it on an image UI element on WDA?
I have read some posts but, to be honest, I don't understand very well.
I'm trying use ARCHIV_GET_CONNECTIONS function module to obtain ARC_DOC_ID field, but I don't know which is the following step.

Hi Venkat,
if u know java very well, then u can take up EP. ABAP is also very easy one to read and understand, as ur basically from prgming background.
To start with go thro the classical abap and then come to abapoo.
u can find so many link when u search for doc in sdn.
