Suspend Plug Problem

Hi,
I'm trying to use suspend&resume plugs in a WDA application to call an external ITS Service and then to go back to my application by clicking BACK button in the browser.
the url that I try to call is
http://zzzzz:1111/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPMAININT/!?sap-client=xxx&sap-language=EN&TMP_P1_1=K02214&~OkCode=GPDP
i always get an error that '~' sign is not allowed....
I can omit it at sap-clientand sap-language parameters, but it's mandantory to use it before OkCode parameter.
B.T.W. it works fine then using an exit plug....
any ideas?

Hi
You can this following  before navigating, and call the escaped URL.
    CALL METHOD CL_HTTP_SERVER=>ESCAPE_URL
      EXPORTING
        UNESCAPED = lv_dse_url1
      RECEIVING
        ESCAPED   = lv_dse_url1.
Thanks

  • Cannot create suspend plug in IDE

    Hi,
perhaps someone can help me. I want to create a link in my WD app that navigates to another page, but in the same window. I think I need to use suspend/resume plugs. My problem is that I can't create a suspend plug in the Window of my application.
    Here is what I did:
I added sap.suspendable.application=true on application level
I added suspend/resume plugs on the interface controller. Suspend plug has a string parameter Url
Now I want to add a suspend/resume plug on the main window of my application. If I don't I get a build error complaining: "Missing inbound plug 'Resume' from interface view 'ErxReportInterfaceView' of interface 'ErxReportCompInterface'." and a similar message about missing suspend plug. However, if I add those plugs, I can only add them as standard plugs, I do not have the possibility to add another type of plug. What am I doing wrong?
I am using SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.1 SP01 PAT0000, Build 200811082206.
    Thanks,
    Kai

    Hi

  • Suspendable plug not working in portal

    Hello
    I am having two DC.
DC 1 is an web dynpro application which has a suspend plug (ToDC2) in its interface view.
DC 2 is another web dynpro application which is having a default inbound plug in its interface view.
Now, I am using URL of DC2 application to navigate from DC1 to DC2.
    String urlToTargetApp =
         WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL(deployableObjectPart, urlParameters);
    wdThis.wdGetApp1ApplInterfaceViewController()
         .wdFirePlugToDC2(urlToTargetApp);
This scenario is working fine if I execute my application directly outside portal.
But in portal it gives me following error :
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Suspend-Plug must no be triggered when running in portal. Use portal navigation instead to navigate to another application!
Now, I have read it in SDN contributed articles that above error must have come only if i would have been using an exit plug instead of suspend plug.
In case of suspend plug you need to just set an application property "sap.suspendable.application = true" if using application within portal, as this will make it work.
But it is not working here !
    Any comments please.

  • Suspend / Resume problem with -ck kernels.

Sometimes with the linux-ck kernel my laptop doesn't suspend / resume correctly.
Sometimes when suspending my laptop will take "extra long" to suspend.
When it resumes the processor & fan will turn on, but the suspend light will still be blinking and the screen doesn't turn on.  Sometimes (but not always) the caps-lock light will start blinking after I try to wake it up, like a kernel panic. It happens more often when closing the lid to suspend, but has happened while suspending manually.
This only happens with -ck kernels. I have tried both the linux-ck and linux-ck-corex kernels with same result. This started happening around kernel 3.0.8 I believe. I thought it was a bug that would be fixed, but it still occurs.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T410s,  Intel Core i5, Intel graphics. I use the TLP scripts for power savings, and Xfce-Power-Manager for my power manager. I can see nothing relevant in the logs. Suspend / Resume always works with the "official" kernel.
    Any ideas?

Ok, I think I narrowed the problem down to the BFS scheduler.
I compiled "linux-bfs" from the AUR, installed it and rebooted and lo and behold my suspend / resume problem was back. Rebooted with the stock kernel, did about 10 suspend & resume cycles in a row... and it worked great each time.
Sometimes when using linux-bfs or linux-ck, I can "revive" the system after a bad resume, by closing the lid and opening it slowly. Also I know the screen is just not "off", because the caps lock key light will not respond. If the caps-lock key light starts blinking (on-and-off) after a resume, I assume it is a kernel panic, and nothing besides a forced power-off will fix it.

  • Firing the Suspend Plug of Interface View Controller of1 DC from another DC

    Hi Experts,
Can you please let me know if it is possible to fire a suspend plug from a Component Controller?
I've been tried it before from View controller on some event and was able to fire the plug successfully but when I am trying to fire the same from the init method of the Component Controller or init method of the view controller, it gives me the below error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Instance of interface view controller XXXXCompInterfaceView does not exist.
I believe that it is not possible to fire the suspend plug from the Init method  of either Component Controller or View Controller.
So, is it possible to fire the suspend plug in one custom method of a component controller if the custom method is called from some another component?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anurag

    Hi Prashant,
When I am trying to fire the Suspend plug from my view on click of a button, I am getting the following error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Cannot suspend embedded component via outbound plug <Plug Name> of view <Interface View Name>
        at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.view.ViewManager.fireSuspendPlug(ViewManager.java:209)
        at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.view.View.navigate(View.java:533)
        at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.view.View.navigate(View.java:462)
Earlier, when I used to fire the plug from my DC; it used to work fine but now my DC is being used as a used DC in another component and since then I am facing this issue.
Currently, my DC is being used as used DC. I am not sure if I use any used DC, it would work or not.
Please respond if anybody has any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Anurag

  • IPad 1 connector/plug problem

I have an iPad 1. I bought the camera connector kit and the AV adapter, but the 30-pin plugs are too big, they don't fit all the way in. Both accessories say they are compatatible with the iPad 1, and so did they guy at the Apple Store, so I'm not sure why the size is slightly different. When I compare the plug to the one that came with my iPad 1 I can see the difference. Also, my husband just bought the newiPad 3 and his charging cord plug won't fit in it either.
Has anyone eles had this problem?

Take it to the Apple Store for evaluation & possible replacement.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Plug problem?  Battery problem?

This evening the screen on my iBook G4 started oscillating between bright and not quite as bright (unevenly, but sometimes as rapidly as one second). At the same time, the battery icon would switch between showing the power supply connected and disconnected (battery icon). The battery had drained about 20% in spite of being plugged in. The plug glowed a constant green.
This was a relatively new (2 month) battery, so I got my previous battery which still works but discharges too fast to be very useful and I noted the same problem.
When I switched back to the new battery, it was now completely discharged and the iBook would no longer boot while it was installed. The plug continued to glow green and would not charge it.
After puzzling over this, I checked the output from the power supply and was getting about 22VDC. When I checked the plug with the VOM probes, it suddenly lit orange, so I plugged it back in and the iBook decided to boot up with the drained new battery and worked for about an hour - not charging the battery which showed 0% charged (though it was previously at about 80%), before it went back to a solid green plug and no charging. The iBook went immediately to sleep.
This time, though, I noted that when I wiggled the plug in the iBook, the green light on the plug would go out and I would have to rotate it around and generally persuade it to light back up green. Could not get an orange charging light again regardless of which battery I installed.
Ordinarily I would assume that my problem is probably a bad power supply - most likely the plug has gone bad, but since the new battery totally discharged, or was claiming to be discharged, in a matter of moments, I'm wondering what the deal is.
    Any ideas?

Hi, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
+I thought you were supposed to let the battery completely drain every so often to keep the thing healthy.+
Not so. That used to be true with older nickel-cadmium batteries, but is not true with the newer lithium-ion ones in iBooks. Sometimes a deep discharge can actually render a lithium-ion battery useless.
Read about Apple's suggestions on maintaining the battery in this Apple Knowledge Base article:
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html
As for using the PowerBook's adapter, that wouldn't harm the iBook's battery as long as the adapter isn't defective (which, with that clicking sound, it sounds as if it likely could be).

Could you provide more details about the PSU? Wattage rating and the amp rating on the +12V rail(s). Also, what is the current BIOS version? Why 6GB RAM? Are you using 3 sticks? If so, that is known to be counterproductive and has shown performance hits in that configuration in benchtests. Use just 2 RAM sticks in dual channel placed in the proper DIMM slots.
PSU : 600W , +12v1 , 10.35A (Pic below if you want to see it clearly)

why 6GB? back then i could only buy 6gb because i don't have enough money lol
and i really really need it because it was urgent and i dont use 3 sticks only 2 sticks

  • Plug problem

    Hello everyone
I just bought a new charger because the previous one didn't charge any more.
After the first charge I realized that I'm having the same problem that i had the previous one (while it was still working): when reaching full charge, it stops charging and then start again, in an (almost) never ending loop.
I checked the plug on the side of the macbook and i discovered signs of oxidation.
    What should i do?
    Should I remove them? How?
Do I risk also for the health of the new charger?
    Please answer
    Thank you everyone

    I bought another one

  • 6555 Power cord plug problems

When I plug in the power cord it does not make a solid connection. The only way I can get it to work is by canting the cord, by wrapping the cord around the phone or by taping the phone down and pulling the cord to the side.
Is this a systematic problem? Am I the only one? If not has anyone found a solution?

your better of getting new charger this seems to be an issue with the new smaller pins on the charger or it could be an issue with the jack in the phone try a new charger first
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Headphone plug problem...

I've had my macbook for about 6 months and love it. A couple weeks ago I sat my computer on my side table to go downstairs quick and my cat jumped on it and made it fall and at the time I had my speakers pluged into the headphone plug. It hit the floor right on its side and now my sound will only work when I have my speakers plugged in and there is a red glowing light in the hole. I know this means its damaged but is there something I can do with out taking it some where to get it fixed. and if I dont get it fixed will it turn into more problems later on?

There's a switch inside the jack at the back. The switch is stuck. You can try using a toothpick or similar and gently poking inside the jack (I think near the bottom, at the back) to get it unstuck. Or insert a headphone plug and wiggle it.

  • Alum. iMac audio mini plug problem

Hi all. I just bought a 20" Aluminum iMac. I got it all set up and loaded some tunes on and plugged in my sub woofer and satellite speakers. I plugged the mini plug from the speakers into the mini plug input for the headphones on the back of the monitor. One channel works and the other doesn't. I then tried ordinary headphone and have the same problem. I can hear the right channel, but the left is dead. I did discover that if I jiggle the plug a little I can sometimes get the left headphone channel to come it. Also, the regular built in speakers sound ok and both channels seem to work. I think it may be that the input is faulty. Any easy fixes to this, ot should it go to the shop?
Thanks for your input! (....pun intended...)

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
It is under warranty, take it to the shop.

  • DDTS-100 power plug problem please help!

I wanted to order the DDTS-100 online but I can only choose the 3 pin uk plug. What i need is a 2 pin plug, i don't know exactly which one(I live in the Netherlands.) How can I solve this?

just get the 3 pin one and then either use a converter (can be bought in most electronics stores) or see if it's possible to replace the cable entirely.

  • Macbook magsafe plug problem

Any one else have this issue? I'm having to push the plug into the port quite firmly to get it to contact and have the green/orange LED light up. It used to be that the magnetic force would pull it enough to make satisfactory contact.
Is it an issue with my adapter or the Macbook's power port?

Also have a look at this article:
Troubleshooting Magsafe power adapters with stuck pins
It says that sometimes the pins can get pushed down into their recesses and stick there (like the outer two in the diagram).
