Because of the Change/Changing changes in VideoPlayer, we need to also listen for a CHANGE as well as the CHANGE_END, CHANGE_START, THUMB_PRESS, and THUMB_RELEASE events.
Also, when clicking on the track and animating, the scrubbar's playedArea should move along with the thumb. We do this by using pendingValue, rather than value in updateSkinDisplayList().

My first observation is that you don't reraise the error in the CATCH handler. That is bad, because it makes the proceedure fail silently which may be very difficult to troubleshoot.
The version numbers for Change Tracking are indeed database-global. MIN_VALID_VERSION can be different for different tables, if they have different retention periods. But if they all have the same retention period, it seems likely that MIN_VALID_VERSION
would increase as the database moves on.
I'm not sure about your question Can we use the CHANGE_TRACKING_CURRENT_VERSION even though we want to download subset of data from the table (only records matching for one data_source_key at a time). Where would you use it? How would you use
it?

It would depend on how old your IMac is, how mush memory you have, it it can be upgraded by OWC, etc. I have a 2006 Macbook Pro and would NOT put Mavericks on it or espeacially FCP 10.1.1 on it because the most memory it can have is 4 GB. You need at least 8 GB to work with Final Cut Pro 10.1.1. IMHO.
I would try to find a copy of Final Cut Express perhaps.

I encountered an error in the Payment Wizard screen as I was creating an Outgoing Payment for petty cash expenses. On the “Recommendation Report” screen, I clicked “Non-Included Trans.” and saw that one of the vendors (Vendor Code: WILCO) has the following error:
“The document amount is greater than the max. amount allowed in the payment methods linked to the BP”
Upon checking, the “PCF-W” Payment Method linked to WILCO does not have any restrictions, nor does WILCO have any credit/commitment limit set. I have also appropriately defined the Dummy Business Partner Bank (under Payment Terms) as well as checked the “Included” box for PCF-W on the Payment Run-Payment Methods screen.
Could anyone please help me on this?

CatPS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!! -
Does this procedure (deauthorizing iTunes) also effect the Mac app store, or do I need to also deauthorize it somehow before formatting my hard drive?
You only need do this in iTunes. See iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

It sounds like you are unable to access the iTunes Store in the iTunes application. Based on the error message I would try the steps in the article here named:

Remove pop-up blockers
Some pop-up or ad-blocking programs may interfere with the ability of iTunes to connect to the iTunes Store. Removing them in many cases will resolve the issue.
Flush DNS Setting in Windows
In some cases, the DNS information you computer uses to connect to the Internet needs to be reset. Follow these instructions to flush your Windows DNS information:
Windows XP
On the Start menu, click Run.
In the Open field type cmd and click OK.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
On the Start menu, point to All Programs > Accessories and then right-click Command Prompt and chooseRun as Administrator from the shortcut menu. If Windows needs your permission to continue, clickContinue.
In the resulting window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Return on the keyboard.
You should see a message that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
Note: If, in the command prompt, you see this message: "The requested operation requires elevation", close the command prompt and repeat steps 1 and 2 above to be sure that Administrator privileges are used to access to Command Prompt.

Changed password on MacBook Pro recently. But after password change. Computer ask for old password, thereafter. Even when correctly supplying the old password. Computer system does not boot up and just freezes. What is causing the problem and how can one resolve the issue?

Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse pointer to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"

Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box under “Select user account”.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.

I am looking at subscribing to network events and working out event ids and things and so far haven't been able to work out this. Fairly simple question, hopefully the answer is just as simple.
Can I subscribe to an event which lets lets me listen for any layer changes (in my iOS app)? The docs suggest any actionable event can be listened for, but I am yet to work out how to do this.
Thanks.If you're using a web front end I don't see how that's possible unless you have persistent connections and "push" technology. HTTP is a request/response protocol, which doesn't lend itself to this problem.
If you're writing a Swing client you have a bit more control.
Maybe one way to do it would be to use JMS publish/subscribe. When a client connects to the server, it subscribes to the database change topic. Whenever one of the registers clients makes a database change, the DAO puts a message on the topic, which is then broadcast out to all registered subscribers. They can update themselves in their onMessage() listener implementation.
Could be a network traffic nightmare if you have a lot of clients. And what about transactions? Will you make the topic and the database transaction a single unit of work?
Might be more complicated than it's worth, but that seems to be your requirement. Not a trivial problem.

Im quite new to jmf, and im writing a code which uses the webcam, but im stuck at a point where i want a listener which is called whenever the frame changes in the visualcomponent. so basically im looking for a frame changed listener to be added to the visual component instead of using a loop or a timer or something.
i just need a method to be called constantly along the stream coming from the webcam but which is consistent with the changing of the frames.
i would really appreciate any kind of help.

If you want to create a custom renderer that is triggered everytime data is available, you set a processor to use your renderer and when data is available, your process command will be called. Same as an event listener...but it's very advanced stuff to implement the renderer interface.

The video is already encoded somehow when you get it, so it's coming in as a stream just like it'll be going out to the file... It's a stream of bytes, not a stream of images... You're not digitizing here, you're transcoding. -

The other consideration is the price-points of various data plans, they differ between size and cost.
But all plans are month-to-month, meaning that you can turn the service off anytime you want, and for as long as you want, but when you activate 3G service you pay for 30 days of service regardless if you turn 3G off (so turn it off on the 29th day if you won't need 3G next month). You can do all of this right from the iPad, and you don't have to set anything up at the time of purchase (other than choose your carrier). I have spent too much time on the same issues. Will the issues ever be resolved?
i'm also having major CPU problems w/ FF 29.0.1. when i restart the app it calms down again but after loading tabs it steadily climbs up to 100% after not too long. i have checked out the 2 CPU links/articles above and do all the basic troubleshooting and tips, but with all the FF tools & add-ons isn't there some sort of CPU monitor that has the ability to display which extensions/scripts are hogging the CPU? Activity Monitor on Mac just shows the total used by the app. it's impossible in my case to efficiently disable dozens of add-ons & scripts, restart, and test each one by one b/c it can take several hrs before the CPU starts to spike high again. i have no time for this.
