Actually, Reader SHOULD keep showing documents that no longer exist, I disagree. It's no big deal, and people will quickly realise why they can't open the file. They open more files, the old ones move off.
The REASON why it should not check is that checking whether a file exists can take a long time when things aren't good. For instance if a file server goes down, or a memory card is unplugged. That in turn would mean delays opening the File menu, and I've seen some software that can sit there for several minutes. That would really give people something of which to complain...

How do I remove photos from my iPhone 4 which were synced from my iTunes?

When I brought up iTunes, I clicked on my phone, then clicked on photos, clicked on sync photos to remove the check mark. When prompted, I clicked on remove photos, then clicked sync and when it was done, I still have my synced photos on my phone. Is there really any way I can remove these from my phone (not iPhone 4S) without it costing me money or downloading stuff that might cause problems with my computer?

What you did should remove the photos. I see no reason why it wouldn't work. You uncheck the sync photos heading and then click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes in order to erase the photos from the phone.
Create an empty folder on your computer and call it iPhone photos or whatever you want to call it. Select that empty folder as the folder to sync photos from in iTunes. So click on the Sync Photos from heading again to select it, and them select that empty folder as the photos folder. Click on apply. That should delete the photos on your phone.

SDK J2 EE server remove it from list of programs which start with windows

Hello there
Since SDK J2EE 5 server takes many resources, I would like to be able to remove it from the list of programs which start with Windows XP PRO start up.
How could I possibly do that?

if you say yes,
then
type msconfig in start->run
click startup tab and deselect the corresponding checkbox
or
go to control panel -> administrator tools -> services -> select the service , then right click properties and select disable in drop down,
or
control panel -> add or remove programs -> select j2ee-xxx remove it

I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.

Removing jsessionid from the url

Hi All,
While i create a Webdynpro iview from SAP Webdynpro iview template, the generated url gets appended with the parameter jsessionid as shown.
http://server:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/session/New_app;<b>jsessionid</b>=(J2EE14778100)ID1600385450DB11689045888563713719End
I don't want this parameter to be appended and exposed in the url of the ivew. Is there any way i can hide/remove this parameter from the generated url?

Hi Maksim,
Firstly, There is no such parameter for Webdynpro iview in EP 6.
Secondly, this parameter is available for Webdynpro template in EP 7, but even on setting it with jsessionid, the problem remains. jsessionid is still appended in the URL.
Please help me with any other possible ways.

For our profect I think this issue was caused as follows:
Believing that remoting was full asynchronous we fired a 2 or 3 remote calls to the server at the same time ( within the same function ) - usually when the users goes to a new section of the app.
This seemed to trigger the duplicate http session error since according to http://blogs.adobe.com/lin/2011/05/duplication-session-error.html two remote calls arriving before a session is created will cause 2 sessions to be created.
Our current solution ( too early to say it works ) is to daisy chain the multiple calls together .
Also there seemed to be an issue where mobile apps that never quit ( thanks Apple! ) caused the error when activated after a few hours.
I guess the session expires on the server and the error above occurs on activation.
So the mobile apps now ping the server with a remote call when activated after sleeping for more than one hour.
All duplicate http errors are silently caught and reported.
Fingers crossed we won't get any more!

Well the answer depends on whether you want to use the DefaultTableModel or a custom TableModel. The key point to either solution is that you want to store all the data in the table model.
1) Using the DefaultTableModel
All the data from your Person object is added to the model. By default the table will create a column for each column of data added to the model. However, this doesn't mean that you need to display every column in the table. After creating the JTable you can simply do:
table.getColumnModel().removeColumn(...);to remove the columns you don't have room to display. You can still access the values in the model by using:
table.getModel().getValueAt(...);2) Create a custom TableModel
You can keep all the data in your Person object and then write a custom model to access the data. Something like this example:

Note: the example isn't complete as you still need methods to add each Person object or the entire List of Persons to the model.
Again, you would need to remove the columns you don't want displayed.
In either case you can then handle the tooltip by overriding the getTooltipText(...) method. Something like:
