T code VL06C and VL06G in Display mode

Hi sap gurus.........
I want to know that is there any other t codes present in sap in which a user can get same information as he get by t code VL06C and VL06G but in display mode only.

Make only the new row in a table editable and other rows display mode.

Hiii all,
I am working on the component GSWISET, there is a table view for substitutes, the requirement is to show all the rows in the table view in display mode. Whenever the user clicks the button (Add employee), a search popup triggers and the user selects an employee from that and it will come as a new row in the table view. Here I need to be able to make only the new row editable and all the other rows in display mode.
Could you please suggest a way to achieve this. Thanks for your time..

go on the internet and type in find my iphone 5c but then once you have done that type in your apple ID then take it out of recovery mode hopefully that should work

Tcode in display mode

i want to give t-code me9f, as01 and j1iex in display mode
i give but user is still able to use these in change mode also.

Hi,
ME9F is a report,through which user can't change anything.Provide AS03 instead of AS01,which is for creation of Assests.If u give the above 3 T-codes through MENU in a role,then provide displany activity only(03)in all objects.So that user can't change anything.U can simulate the same scenario in DEV box and check for respective Objects.

Target Display Mode - Thunderbolt to Mini DisplayPort?

I have a MacBook Pro which has a Mini DisplayPort and I connect this to the Mini DisplayPort on my 27" iMac and use Target Display Mode.
I am interested in the MacBook Air but there is no longer a Mini DisplayPort and I want to be able to go into Target Display Mode on my iMac. Is this going to be possible ie can I connect the Thunderbolt port on a MacBook Air to the Mini DisplayPort on my iMac and go into Target Display Mode? If possible, are the cables available yet?

Yes, you can use the Thunderbolt port (which doubles as a Mini DisplayPort).
And yes, the cable (Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort) is available.
You can probably use your existing cable for Target Display Mode, just not for connecting Thunderbolt devices to your MacBook Air.

HT3924 Target display mode connects but only displays desktop background, no files or command lines

I have connected my early 2014 MacBook to a late 2012 imac and connected them via Thunderbolt cable. Pressing Command F2 causes the screen on teh iMac to change to teh MacBook background screen, but does not display any desktop files or command lines. Any ideas how to fix this?

How do I enable TDM?
Make sure both computers are turned on and awake.
Connect a male-to-male Mini DisplayPort or ThunderBolt cable to each computer.
Press Command-F2 on the keyboard of the iMac being used as a display to enable TDM.
Note: In Keyboard System Preferences, if the checkbox is enabled for "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard functions keys," the key combination changes to Command-Fn-F2.
Can I use a third-party keyboard or older Apple keyboard to enable TDM?
Some older Apple keyboards and keyboards not made by Apple may not allow Command-F2 to toggle display modes. You should use an aluminum wired or wireless Apple keyboard to toggle TDM on and off.

I bought an iMac 27" and MacBook Air in June 2012. Currently I am thinking of use my iMac as a monitor as well. So if I want to use my MacBook Air as the source, what kind of cable do I need? Thunderbolt cable, minidisplay cable or either?
I also want to use my PC with minidisplay port as the source as well and use my iMac 27" bought in June 2012 as taget display. What kind of cable should I buy? Thunderbolt cable, minidisplay cable or either?

If both machines use Thunderbolt then simply get a Thunderbolt cable and connect the MBA to the iMac. You will NOT be able to use the PC for Target Display mode unless it also has Thunderbolt and even then it's iffy. Please carefully look over Apple's

Suppose I have generated an import PO.
In that Basic price is $100.
Also I have put 1EGP (Egyptian pound : project is in Egypt) for Customs conditon type and for Freight also put 1 EGP and for both of this , I have assigned different vendor ie clearing agent .
First the invoice came from the clearing agent with actual value of customs and freight.
So I have done MIRO , taking the tab 'Planned delivery cost ' and also PO number entered in the respective field.
Now in header level 'Basic Data-TAB' , after amount currency is coming as Dollar and also in 'Details-TAB' currency is coming as Dollar and also in display mode .
I am not able to change that and it should be changed to 'EGP' .
Please advice .Its very urgent .

Is it possible to use Target Display Mode under Bootcamp on iMac 27?

I run Solidworks under Windows XP in Parallels 5 on my pre Unibody MBP since a couple of years. Works well but I could need more speed and screen size.
I'm thinking that the following setup would suit me well if it works:
iMac 27 running Windows in Bootcamp
New MBP running OSX
Is it possible to connect the MBP to the iMac and use Target Display Mode when the iMac runs Bootcamp? Haven't been able to find a good answer.
If not - Apple: Will you please implement this in a Bootcamp update...?

If I understand your question, you wish to access the MBP in TDM from the iMac booted into Windows. The iMac using Windows should see the MBP in TDM as it would any other connected external USB or FireWire HDDs. However, you should also face the limits that the version of Windows you use may have regarding reading disks formatted for Macs.

Depriciation key and useful life periods in asset master should in display mode only

Hi all
At the time of creation asset master AS01 we are given the Asset class, company code and similar of asset (1) then we click enter button we will get Create asset: master data screen here in general tab we enter the description and in time dependent tab we enter cost center manually
But
When we click on Depreciation tab here the Depreciation key and use life fields are automatically come with Dep.key(ABC) and use life(15) (Because we maintained in OAYZ)
Here user have a chance to change the Dep.key(ABC) and use life(15).so my requirement is these two fields are display with only display mode .
User don’t have chance to modify this.

Hi Anil,
The screen layout for Asset and its depreciation tab are different. You have to make these fields as Display only in the screen layout. This can be done using T-Code AO21. Below are the screenshots for the path and screen layout for your reference. This should solve your issue

To change the settings of any field in transaction to display, change, required, or hide, u have to pick the field selection group from OMSR and then go to OMS9, select your transaction and then change the settings.

I want all the fields in VA02 and VA32( Change t-codes) to be in display mode, further user should be able to change the Plant value alone in sales tab.
Is it possible to restrict it with the help of Authorization or does it requires customization.

COR1 - Issue produciton order
CORK - SF receipt from produciton order
CO88 - settlement of produciton order
MR21 - Material Ledger closing
CORK - FG receipt from production order
VL01n- despatch of goods
also let me know the display mode of above t codes for monthly basis.

During SF Issue or FG receipt the system creates mateiral document that can be seen in the table MKPF/MSEG and it also generates accounting document that can be seen in BSEG table.

Can description of material type be put in display mode(t.code-OMS2) ?

OMS2 is part of configuration and client has nothing to do with this.
Better, you restrict the config authorization with help of BASIS Guy.

How to restrict the t code BBPMAININT with DISPLAY Mode in SRM?

Hi experts,
I want to restrict the T code BBPMAININT : Maintain Business Partner with DISPLAY mode in SRM system?
Action Taken:1. I have restricted with "03 Activity" of all check and maintainauthorization objects for this tocde .
2. I have performed the authorization trace also, there also I have not found any new objects.
Here are list of auth object I have restricted:
BBP_FUNCT
BBP_PD_AUC
BBP_PD_BID
BBP_PD_CNF
BBP_PD_CTR
BBP_PD_INV
BBP_PD_PCO
BBP_PD_PO
BBP_PD_QUO
But I have not clearly understand of the object : BBP_FUNCT.
In this Object, I have maintained BE_F4_HELP value only. And rest of the auth object I have restricted to 03 activity only.
But still users are able to acess the CREATE and MANAGE buttons.
So how Can I restrict the this T code in display mode?
Please suggest me...

Does your users have any other tcodes assigned to them other than the one you needed to be resticted?
As a trial, assign only your tcode to a user and run the trace.
Let us know your findings.
