TA38263 When I go to preferences "burning" is not one of the options.  Why is my Itunes different and how can i brun a cd?

I would like to burn a cd from my itunes.  The directons tell me to go to file then "burn cd" or "curn playlist to cd" and when i look it up on apple.com it tells me to go to preferences and then go to the "burning" tab, but when I go to file there are no options about burning like it says there is and when i go to preferences their is no burning tab.  How do I burn a CD from Itunes with no Burn options anywhere?

Daddy,
The Burning tab was removed from preferences several releases ago, so something you read was quite out of date.
Put the songs you want to burn into a playlist.  Open the playlist, and then go to the File menu.  It will have the "Burn Playlist to Disc" option.
