Table button and Bounded task

Hello,
I'm using JDEV 11.1.3.
I've a jspx page with a table. One column of the table contain a button.
In the button there is a setPropertyListener that take the first column of the table (ID) and sets a property in the requestScope. the Type is action and from is #{row.ID}.
The button action is an action that call a bounded task. the task has an input parameter that is the same sets in by the setPropertyListener.
Now I have two differren column in the table, the first with ID 401 and the second with 402.
When I click on one button (suppose ID401) the task receive the correct ID.
When the Task ends it return to the jspx page.
Here I have the problem, every button I press now it's used always the previous value of the ID (401 in this case) in the Task Bounded.

The Bounded task is with Pages (.jspx)
There is an undounded task the default task (adfc-config) with the view (index.jspx that contain the table and the buttons) and a control flow case for calling the bounded task.
The Bounded task always start a new trasnsaction and has 2 return,commit and rollbak that return both to index.jspx page.

Here's my simple scenario:
Jdev 11.1.1.2
One Am(datacontrol).
One vertical panel splitter
On top A panel collection with a read-only table(employees VO), The table lists just a few of the attributes, so it's really just for browsing, and a toolbar with createinsert, commit and rollback button's.
At bottom: A PanelTab with a bounded task flow - region. The child region(bounded task flow) contains an editable ADF form(same VO) will all attributes available for editing. The form(child region) also contains a 'submit' button (to post changes).
When run the page commit and rollback button are disable. (ok)
Navigation and sincronize between table and task flow works fine because i set partialtrigger. (ok)
When i change some attribute in the form and then press summit button, I want the commit and rollback button's became active..
. . any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Bart,
if your bounded task flow is placed in .jspx using region it is possible to reach binding container of that task flow.
You can use handies by Edwin Biemond:

I lost my Start button and my Task Bar

I have been dealing with a serious virus for a couple weeks now that makes my computer run extremely slow. I ran several free antivirus and antimalware programs trying to fix my problem. This resulted in getting an error msg on start up that states "Windows
Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. After Explorer closes I have no desktop. Its a black and blank screen. I can still get to Explorer
by using ctrl-alt-del however I no longer have a Start button or a Task Bar on my Explorer home page.
I have tried several online suggestions on retrieving the Stop button with no success. I'm sure the blank screen at start-up is a result of the virus but I have no clue on getting rid of the virus at this point.
Please help me out if you have any ideas...Thank you!!

Af:table filter date format : task-flow navigation issue

When trying to use the date format configured on the Entity Object, with Format Type as Simple Date and Format as "dd-MM-yyyy", there seems to be a problem when using task-flows.
The approach involves an explicitly configured attributeValues binding to use in f:validator and af:convertDateTime components in the af:inputDate in the filter facet, as discussed in the forum thread "af:table filter date format"

I used JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 to create the example application

- The page filterEmp.jspx shows expected behaviour, the filter uses the configured date format and there is no problem when navigating to another page and back.

- The page menuBTFPage.jspx allows for some navigation after using the filter resulting in the filter showing a date in the wrong format, using scenario (sc1)

First a short summary of relevant aspects of service request 3-2190488381:
- development has reviewed bug 10193260
- development identified some code where a pattern was not applied and started fixing the problem
- out of the blue, development asked "Will clearing out the filter field completely when moving out of ataskflow be an acceptable behavior ?"
- I pointed out some concerns (even in a phone call with development), but development did not see any alternative not "perceived to be very risky because of the current design", so the question whether the clearing-all-filter-fields approach would be acceptable became superfluous.
- following this, bug 10193260 suddenly became an enhancement request (for reasons I still don't understand)
- a workaround was suggested (for behaviour not perceived as a bug), "Clearing the search fields during taskflow exit in the backing bean (in the app)." for which I also received a modified version of my example application TableFilterDateFormatIssueApp-v0.04.zip with an implementation of the suggested workaround
As an exercise to try an understand the suggested workaround (an because my example application seemed to have been modified using the currently yet-to-be-released JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0) I re-implemented it in the example application

The method-call activity, responsible for clearing the search fields, would need to be called before each task-flow-return activity.
As there can be multiple view activities with multiple filtered tables in a bounded task-flow, would that result in multiple method-call activities responsible for clearing search fields (all to be called before each task-flow-return activity)?
It looks like a more general/generic approach is desirable for the suggested workaround to be feasible.
- (q5) Does the suggested workaround imply (as bug 10193260 is not a bug) that all bounded task-flows with filtered tables should implement it to avoid errors about formatting?

Bounded task from unbounded task

can i call bounded task from unbounded task ?
when i drop n drag bounded task flow definition file into unbounded task flow i am seeing an X mark which saying "An unbounded task flow refer to pages and therefore can't call bounded task flow"

When i try to purchase an app that is free, i click the install green button and it just goes back to the free button and i can't download it? it just toggles back and forth between free and install. Please help.

If resetting the iPad doesn't help, try these things.

The reason you want to do this is because the Franchise table is not used directly. So without including the table on the object definition, you would get prompted for a context.
To fix this, as suggested above, double-click on the object in question, and you will see the Tables button on the bottom of that screen. Click the Tables button, and include the Franchise table and save your object.
Be aware, however, that the tables list is automatically updated every time you change the object. So if you update the select or where clause at some point, you'll need to do this step again.

Master-detail table where detail is in a bounded task flow

Dear all,
Iam pretty much new to ADF 11g. I have the following question.
I have a search form(using af:query) created from the View Criteria of a view. The search results are displayed in a master-detail table, since my view has the following form in the data control:
MasterView ->DetailView
I would like that the detail table be part of a page fragment of a region of a bounded task flow. And of course, the detail table should be refreshed every time another row is selected in the master table.
Is this feasible? Because I find difficulties in the following areas:
1. How to pass a parameter to the bounded task flow that will display the detail table?
(I suppose that I will need to build a new view to display the DetailView. In the WHERE clause I will have to pass the id of the row clicked in the master table.
2.How passing the variable to the bounded task flow of the detail table be implemented when clicking the row of the master table? In similar examples I have seen, e.g. in the ADF Code Corner, there is always a submit button that sets a pageFlowScope variable.
Is my approach feasible or it needs a lot of ADF twisting?

Hi,
If you have two different regions in your page for master and details and you want to refresh the child table based on your master row selection then you can use the contextual actions. Raise an event whenever you select a row and send your master-table id as the payload. Have a handler method at the detail page and execute some logic to get the rows for the selected master record.

Best Practice - Bounded Task Flows, Regions and Nested Application Modules

Using JDev 11.1.1.3; understand that it's generally considered good practice to just have 1 root application module servicing model content / services for each page. In our application, we've used a number of bounded task flows and page fragments deployed as af:region's into pages as either a) views targeted in page-flow navigation, b) tab panel content inside a regular jspx, or c) af:popup / af:dialog content. As it stands, we've not engaged nesting of the application modules for this embedded region content, so these regions are no doubt instantiating new AM's if/when invoked. Should the AM's servicing these embedded regions be deployed nested within the root AM's, and then if so, does this change the way that the jsff / fragment content is actually developed (currently as per any other jspx using the DataControl pallete). Or are the best-practice directives talking about a page as being the design-time / declarative composition of content rather than the run-time aggregation of page + fragments ... in which case the fact that our embedded fragments are not using nested AM's is unlikely to concern.

Drag and drop a bounded task flow in a jspx page

I am using jdeveloper 11.1.2.1 I had created a Bounded task flow which contains a jsff
page.While i am trying to drag and drop this Bounded task flow as a region in jspx page
am getting the error as
Cannot create a region from a taskflow containing facelets fragements in a
jspx page.

fragment is .jsff (JspXML type)-- main page must be of JSP XML type (.jspx )

Problems with breadcrumbs in TP4 be bounded and unbounded Task-Flows

Project scope
JDev 11g TP4
jspx - template
jsff - breadcrumbs
jspx - forms (using the template)
bound and unbound task-flow
.) all forms (and template) are in the unbound task-flow (adfc-confi.xml)
.) one form can be called with an parameter from another form - problem solved with an bound task-flow (task-flow-definition.xml) - it works very good
With "Create ADF Menu" (on adfc-confi.xml) the JDev create

Hi,
the generated menu model only works for unbound flows. You can call a bound flow from such a menu, but this doesn't show breadcrumbs within the bound taskflow. For this you need to specify that the bound taskflow creates a breadcrumb model and then it will only show what is within. Have a look at the taskflow section in the developer guide.

Firefox does not display button and table in High Contrast Theme

When i'm using the high contrast theme in Windows 7, the webpage i'm accessing does not show layouts for tables, textboxes and buttons, whereas while accessing the same page with other browsers (i.e Chrome,IE) I can view them correctly. Please suggest whether it is possible to get the layouts in High contrast theme, if Yes, kindly tell the detailed steps to do that!

It sounds like what you are trying to do is edit the choices in a likert field to something other than the default radio button. This is not something that you can do in Formscentral at this time.
