Table Control first line of data is blank

Hi i have a table control screen built. I have inserted my data into the table control, but the first row of it is blank, and it seems to be affecting everything else i need to do around that, how do i get that blank row out of there?

In PBO of the screen, try adding the code.
DELETE t_control where field1 IS INITIAL.
where t_control is the internal table used for table control.

Module pool- only first line item data saved, rest disappears??

Hi Experts,
I have one module pool that was developed by other developer. It has header details input fields and items details input by table control.
Now below scenarios occur:
1) When I enter only one line item, and save it, the data is saved properly
2) when I enter more than one item data and save it, it only saves first line item data.
3).When I press ENTER button after every new line item data, it saves all the data properly.
I tried to debug the report but could not find the exact problem statement as the code is written very badly without any comments.
I am pasting the flow logic code below for the screen.
So please help me figure out the problem and solution for it.

If I press ENTER after entering each line item, all records come in IT_GP but if not then only first line item comes. Also if I dont press ENTER after entering the first line item and and add one item (total 2) and then press ENTER then sometimes both the lines disappear.

"read from measurement file" reads only first line of data

Hello,
I have a problem when trying to read a .lvm file through "Read from Measurements file" with the following block diagram
Problem: it reads only the first line of data from what I can see in the probe window,.
A part of the lvm file for reference.
I haven't used Labview in a long long time, I'm trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

I unfortunately cannot share the full vi that record the data as I am not its owner/creator. I'll try to give as much info as I can with the relevant pictures attached, I hope it allows us to at least have an hint of where the problem might be.

In the stacked sequence, the other pannels are similar to the one shown here: value read fron a variable, converted to dynamic and a signal attribute is set. The "start recording" control operation is "switch when pressed".

Error Handling in table control for line item.

Please how to do error handling in table control for line item in bdc,i have used format_message for header but i don't no fill decamps internal tabled and how to do background processing in call transaction.

Background processing is not possible using call transaction method.
You can create an executable program which can have CALL TRANSACTION BDC code. And this can be run in background.
What do you exactly mean by Error handling for Items in table control. Can you give some more details.

Problem in bdc for table control for line items

Hi experts,
I am runnig a bdc for ME52.
i am just entering PR number, in the second screen i have got all the line items. I need to select these line item 10 and double click or hit enter, it takes me to screen 3, there im just checking a checkbox and saving.
Again i need to select the line item 20 and double click or hit enter. again the same process.
Again repeat for all the line items.
But my problem is it is updating everytime for only line item 10. for line item 20 and others it say "no chnge in the data".

SQ01 query, one field not populating in first line, pushing data to next line

Good day all
I have worked with queries for some time and have never encountered this error
I have a few table joins (FAGLFLEXA, BKPF, BSEG, EKKN, SKAT and EKPO), every thing works and displays correctly, except for the one field
EKKN (ABLAD) - Unload Point.
For some reason, when I test the query, it displays correctly with one entry, but as soon as you run the test for more entries, for some reason, the first Unloading point on the report is empty and the value reflects on the next line. If you display the physical documents where the data pulls from, you can clearly see that the entire report pushes down the field to the next line.

I found the error! The query was written in a certain format. For example it had many fields which was used to populate the data from different tables. The error occured because of the sequence. The query had to bring in a field but it had to derive it from a purchase order, but the purchase order check was after the said field therefor, when it looked at the Purchase Order, it found the field and populated it, but only on the second line. In the first line it couldnt find the Purchase order yet (as EKKO was lower down), so it didnt populate it yet....

How to clear table control view lines?

Dear Experts,
I created one ALV Report with push buttons. User can select multiple line. After select the lines, when user clicks push button in ALV, then am calling POPUP screen 1100 with save and cancel button. which ever line user selected in ALV, that will appear in the POPUP screen 1100 with table control view.
issue :
Ex :
In ALV user selected 3 lines , that appeared in POPUP screen 1100 table control view. Now user wants to select some more line in ALV. so user clicked cancel and reached ALV screen. user selected 2 more line in ALV (total 5 lines). Again user clicked same push button in ALV, But now same 3 lines (old record) are appearing in POPUP screen 1100, new records (5 lines) are not appearing.

My PBO internal table is having 5 records. but in table control only 3 records are appearing.

Clear the records and populate new records., also use refresh table display if u are using oo alv.
check BCALV_GRID_05 report.,

Table Control not displaying selected data

I have 2 screens, screen 100 is the selection screen where i select the data to be displayed and 300 is my table control. When I select a single airline in screen 100, it displays all the airlines in my table control in screen 300, how can i fix?

Table control if built via the screen painter wizard uses the contents of internal table declared in the main program and defined in the wizard to display. Check how you are filling this table, perhaps your filling it incorrectly.

How to implement line selectability for a table control using table Wizard?

I have created a table control using the Table Wizard. I found my exact question in this forum, but unfortunately it had not been andsered. While I cannot paste a screen-print into this plane-text area, here are the steps I followed...
1) SE51
2) Create new screen 0100
3) Click Layout button
4) Clidk Table Control (with Wizard) and draw box on canvas.
5) Step is "Start" - click Continue
6) Step is "Name of Table Control" - provided name
7) Step is "Table Name" - provided name of dictionary table (AUFK)
8) Step is "Definition of Columns" - selected order numver and order text
9) Step is "Table Control Attributes" - Line Selectability is in display mode - cannot set it.
I would like to have a selectability column for my table. Would appreciate any insight into how to do this.

This is a puzzling...
For the table control wizard, in the Table Control Attributes step, I was able to get line selectability to open up by declaring a char01 data element at the beginning of my type.
The puzzling is in regards to the "Selection col. fld" entry field.
If I leave it blank and try to go to the next step, I get message "Enter the name of the selection column if you are using a program table"
So it looked like it wanted to know the name of my selection column. So I type in "CHAR1". and got the message "The field "CHAR1" for the selection column is already contained in the table."
Hmmmmm.... don't understand............

Copy selected lines in the table control

Hi friends,
I Have a screen 200 in which i have a button COPY and table control.
In my table control i have 6 lines of data.
now my requirement is when i select any lines ie : let us say i ahve selected 1 , 3 , 5 lines of my table control and when i click on the button COPY of that screen. i need those 3 selected lines 1 , 3 , 5 to be copied again in the table control
example :

As you can see everything is the same but on column LX_HRS, the first example one is not doing anything addition but on the second example is now doing addition. This additions were done manually, how can I tell crystal to add each line, in the example above, the

No of lines in table control

Hi,
I want to set the no of lines in table control as equl to no of rows in the base table.Actually i designed the table control with reference to a table.
and i am able to display the no of rows of base table in the table control also.
But the table control is also showing the blank lines,after displaying the complete set of rows of base table.
I would like to have the no of rows in table control is equal to no of rows of the table.(I.E there should not be any blank lines at the end of control table).
If any body has any idea regarding this,Let me know something.

Hi,
The statement DESCRIBE TALBE <itabname> LINES <tabctr>-lines is required to adjust/link it with the data available in your program. Creating a table control with reference to a transparent table will only specify the columns and their types. To constantly adjust the table control with your program data, you need to issue statements to inform the screen interpreter about changes carried out by abap interpreter at runtime.
Please correct me if I am talking out of context and you need to use the control in some other way.

Blank Row in table control

Hi,
Could anybody tell me how to add a n number of blank lines to the table control UI element on some event. I have tried with the method CREATE_ELEMENT but its clearing the table control.
I have two nodes called "lines" and "table". "Lines" node contains attribute "Count". and this attribute is binded to inputfiled "INP".
When i click on button , based on inputfield value (INP) that many blank rows should get appended to the table control.
Can anybody advice me how can i get this ?
Can anybody send me the sample code of CREATE_METHOD if its correct approach.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am very Sorry to miss one point in my first thread. With the CREATE_ELEMENT its adding the blank rows to the table control but its adding in the second page. I thought its clearing the table control entries but in fact the blank rows are getting added in the second page.
My doubt is how to add blank rows only in the first page. I have unchecked the "footerVisible" property for the table control. so when i add rows to the table i cannt see the new rows.
How to add blank rows only in the first page...?
