Table that gets affected
Hi Expers,
I just want to know what are all the tables that gets affeced when Org assignment is done like (PPOCA_BBP,PPOMA_bbp,PPOCA_bbp)
Points will be rewarded
thanks

Hi. Org objects are stored in HRP1000.
The relationships between them are stored in HRP1001.
Normal attributes are in HRT1222 as already mentioned, and they are linked to org objects in HRP1222.
Plants are stored separately in HRT5502 and linked to org unit in HRP5502. The plant business partner is stored, to get plant code look in BBP_LOCMAP.
Limits are stored in HRT5503 and linked in HRP5503.
Material group resonsibility is in HRT5501 and HRP5501.
The function tab info (company code, purch org, purch group) is stored in HRT5500 and HRP5500.
I think that is all of it.
Regards,
Dave.

ECC 6- Table that gets updated when Currency Translation to Group Currency
Hi All,
I would like to know which table gets updated with the Values when we execute tcode "FAGL_FC_TRANS"?
I would like to see the values that system posted during April 09, May09 etc for each GL that was Translated into Group Currency using the tcode.
under SE16, i tried checking for all tables with FAGL*, but could not figure out the exact table.
Thanks
VijayBKPF gets updated - The T Code you will in those entries in BKPF is FBB1, Business Trans. will be RFBU and Ref. Transaction will be BKPF.
BSEG gets updated - Activity Type RFBU. You will not see any non-zero amounts in transaction currency and local currency. In group currency, you will see a non-zero number.
FAGLFLEXA gets updated - Transaction RFBU, Ref. Transaction BKPF - No amounts in TC and LC. Amount in GC.
FAGLFLEXT gets updated - Transaction RFBU, Ref. Transaction BKPF. Again, nothing in TSLxx and HSLxx. Amounts in KSLxx (xx being the period in which you have posted translation). -
Which CZ-Schema tables get affected when we create Non BOM items in OCD?
Hi,
Please LIST ALL the CZ tables which gets affected when we create Non BOM structure.
Or Else Atleast suggest a means where I can get which tables are getting affected(i.e, In which CZ tables rows are being inserted).
Thanks.
Edited by: 1008308 on May 28, 2013 2:03 AMI cannot speak for Murali, but from my experience...this information is not available in particular manual or documentation. These table names are known over the course of working with the product over a period of time, seeing SQL statements inside working code, working on bugs alongside Oracle Support and Development, etc. However, there is some information available in the following locations to help you out:
* CZ Implementation Guide - Section D - CZ Subschemas (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e14322/T440679CHDJBBFB.htm). This part of the manual lists the key tables used for various activities (product structure, publishing, UI, etc.)
* ETRM (http://etrm.oracle.com) also has some useful information. Not every table is described, but many of them are. As an example, here is what you might find as a description of the CZ_PS_NODES table:
+"The CZ_PS_NODES table contains the entire structure of a product model. Data can be imported from Oracle Bill of Materials. Each project has a root (product) node. When the project structure is imported, project structure nodes mirror the imported BOM structure. Nodes of type REFERENCE are used to include a separate project ("model") into another psnode project tree."+

I have a column where I have implemented writeback, its working fine. On top of this I need to show 0 as No and 1 as yes in our report, that is also done. Now I want to enter Yes in a column where it was no and I want database table to get update with 1. I am not sure how to do it. SOmeone please help me out.
Hi ,
In your write back XML try the below query insert
INSERT INTO TABLE_XYZ (attribute1) values (SELECT CASE WHEN @{C1}=’Yes’ then 1 when @{C1}=’No’ then 0 else null end from dual)

How to get row count(*) for each table that matches a pattern
I have the following query that returns all tables that match a pattern (tablename_ and then 4 digits). I also want to return the row counts for these tables.
Currently a single column is returned: tablename. I want to add the column RowCount.
DECLARE @SQLCommand nvarchar(4000)
DECLARE @TableName varchar(128)
SET @TableName = 'ods_TTstat_master' --<<<<<< change this to a table name
SET @SQLCommand = 'SELECT [name] as zhistTables FROM dbo.sysobjects WHERE name like ''%' + @TableName + '%'' and objectproperty(id,N''IsUserTable'')=1 ORDER BY name DESC'
EXEC sp_executesql @SQLCommandThe like operator requires a string operand.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms179859.aspx
Example:
DECLARE @Like varchar(50) = '%frame%';
SELECT * FROM Production.Product WHERE Name like @Like;
-- (79 row(s) affected)
For variable use, apply dynamic SQL:
http://www.sqlusa.com/bestpractices/datetimeconversion/
Rows count all tables:

How to find out the tables that will be affected using a transaction
Hi,
How to find out the list of database tables that will be affected when we use a standard transaction(ex. VA01, MM01..)...?(like When we create a salesorder, which tables and which fields will be affected..?)
Is there any transaction or a simple way to find out the solution?
Thanks,
Pradeep.Hi,
Give transaction code and in menu(system- status), double click onthe Program name.
Check in TOP INCLUDE - you will find all the tables related to that transaction.

Can we have triggers that get fired when we Query a table?
Hi All,
What could be the pricise answer to the following question?
1. Can we have triggers that get fired when we Query a table?
2. What the relation of triggers and delete, truncate statement in one line?
3. What is data modelling? Why is it necessary?
4. Which are not mandatory but essential files in Oracle?
Regards,
AAK1. Can we have triggers that get fired when we Query a table?for INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE statement, yes
for SELECT statement, no.
Question 2 is not clear for me.
Question 3 is very very general ...
4 >Which are not mandatory but essential files in Oracle?
all database files (initialization file, control files, datafiles, redo log files) are mandatory. What is not mandatory but considered as a (very) bad practice is
to have only 1 control file and only 1 redo log group with 1 redo log file. -

How to come up with a magic number for any table that returns more than 32KB?
I am in a unique situation where in I am trying to retrieve values from multiple tables and publish them as XML output. The problem is based on the condition a few tables could retrieve data more than 32KB and a few less than 32KB. Less than 32KB is not an issue as XML generation is smooth. The minute it reaches greater than 32KB it generates a run time error. Just wondering if there is any way to ensure that the minute the query's results is greater than 32 kb, it should break say - if the results is 35KB, then I should break that result into 32 KB and 3kb; once done then pass this data to be published as an XML output. This is again not just for one table, but all the tables that are called in the function.
Is there any way?? I am unable to get any ideas nor have I done anything so complex from production support stand point. Would appreciate if someone can guide me on this.
The way it is, is as follows:

If you notice my query:
vStrSqlQuery := 'SELECT * FROM ' || vTblName
|| ' WHERE record_update_tms <= TO_DATE(''' || TO_CHAR(vLastPubTms, 'MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS') || ''', ''MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS'') ' ;
|| ' AND rownum < 16'
The minute I comment
|| ' AND rownum < 16' ;
, it throws an error because this query returns around 600 rows and all of those rows need to be published as XML and the tragedy is that there is a C program in between as well i.e. C will call my packged functions and then will do all the processing. Once this is done will pass the results back to C program. So obviously C does not recognise CLOB and somewhere in the process I have to convert the CLOB to VARCHAR or instead of CLOB I have to use VARCHAR array as a return type. This is my challenge.
Anyone that can help me to find out the required magic number and also a brief know how, I would appreciate that. Many thanks in advance.Not sure I understand which part is failing.
Is it the C program calling your packaged function? Or does the error occur in the PL/SQL code, in which case you should be able to pinpoint where it's wrong?
A few comments :
1) Using DOM to build XML out of relational data? What for? Use SQL/XML functions.
2) Giving sample data is usually great, but it's not useful here since we can't run your code. We're missing the base tables.
3) This is wrong :
vStrSqlQuery := 'SELECT * FROM ' || vTblName || ' WHERE record_update_tms <= TO_DATE(''' || TO_CHAR(vLastPubTms, 'MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS') || ''', ''MM/DD/YYYY HH24:MI:SS'') ' ;
A bind variable should be used here for the date.
4) This is wrong :
elmt_value := xmldom.createTextNode (doc, l_clob(1));
createTextNode does not support CLOB so it will fail as soon as the CLOB you're trying to pass exceeds 32k.
Maybe that's the problem you're referring to?
5) This is most wrong :
l_clob(1):=REPLACE(l_clob(1),'<?xml version="1.0"?>', NULL);
l_clob(1):=REPLACE(l_clob(1),'<', '<');
l_clob(1):=REPLACE(l_clob(1),'>', '>');
I understand what you're trying to do but it's not the correct way.
You're trying to convert a text() node representing XML in escaped form back to XML content.
The problem is that there are other things to take care of besides just '<' and '>'.
If you want to insert an XML node into an existing document, treat that as an XML node, not as a string.
Anyway,
Anyone that can help me to find out the required magic number
That would be a bad idea. Fix what needs to be fixed.
And please clearly state which part is failing : the C program or the PL/SQL code?
I'd vote for PL/SQL, as pointed out in [4]. -
What is the table to get the all planned orders related to a sale order
Hi,
May i know what is the table to get the all planned orders related to a sale order. My scenario is make to order scenario. we can get my out put final product by completing the nearly 916 planned orders.(Like major assemble,sub assemble). From this scenario i want the total orders related to a sale order. ( The planned orders from sale order to sale order will change. i.e 1 sale order will have 916 planned orders and one sale orders will generate 920 like that will chage when running mrp.). Now i want to pick the total planned orders for a sale order in a report. please guide me.
Regards,
Mastan.Hi,
Use the table PLAF... in this table pass the sale order no in the filed KDAUF and then execute...issue here is once the planned orders are converted production orders, these planned orders are deleted from the system....so you will not able to see them.....

To store time only in the table and get it to the report in Apex
Hi,
I am very very new to Apex.
I get a txt file with around 57 columns(comma seperated). In apex we import this and insert it into a database table (csv into table) and then generate a reports out of this table using procedure/packages. we have different fields in this extract which gives different dates and times ( thats right dates and time comes seperate in seperate columns). I would like to insert this dates and times seperately into the table. thats is, getting a table as an exact image of the extract we receive.What data type do I choose to save just the time.
I can only see 'date' data type where I can have both date and time. But can't find anything just for time.
The main use of this time(s) saved seperately in the table is , I can then easily display it in reports.
The report the users want has got fields like transport start time, duty start time etc..
If you can't save time seperately in the database table, then can somebody suggest a way of saving it in table (in the method available)and then getting the time seperated out into the report.
Currently the users use macro on excel to get this reports and formatting a cell to 'time' is simple.
Any suggestions welcome.
Regards
LizaVarad,
I have been trying to get this date-time issue in different areas in my application.
From csv to table its working (once I got dates in the extract adjusted to '02mar2009' format).
Now I have manipulation to do on this datetime.
Say I have datetime1, to get datetime2 I have to get datetime1 and reduce some minutes.
I got the time part into l_temp after reducing the minutes.
datetime2 :=to_date(sysdate || l_temp,'dd-mon-yyyy hh24mi');
It gives an error saying 'literals doesn't match format string' (both at sql command and PL/SQL in apex
I even tried datetime2 :=to_date(to_char(sysdate,'dd-mon-yyyy') || l_temp,'dd-mon-yyyy hh24mi');
gets the same error in apex but this works fine in sql command.
But if I put datetime2 :=to_date('02mar09' || l_temp,'dd-mon-yyyy hh24mi');
Do you know why? Can you suggest something?
Obviously, I can't hard code it. I have read the date from table1 and write it to table 2 with after this manipulation.
Any suggestion?
regards
Liza
