Table to view datas entered thru 7KE1

Hi all,
I have posted Manual planning of Revenue elements thru T-code 7KE1.
I have those entries in table GLPCP, but there im not able to get the Period.
In which table i can get the Period of that Document number,
or is there any table other than GLPCP
where i can get all values which i have entered thru 7KE1 t-code.
with thanks,
Kapil.

What do you mean by "connection"?
If you use a single database then just add schema's preffix and that's all.
    under table owner:
insert into <table_name> select * from <schema>.<view>under view owner:
insert into <schema>.<table_name> select * from <view>But make sure your users get necessary grants.

  • From ImageReady to DWeaver - tables move when data entered

Guys I am taking my ps image and slicing it up in ImageReady.
I dont know HOW I am supposed to do this, so this may be

This CAN work just fine, but inevitably...when I write my

CAN I PREVENT THIS OR IS THERE A BETTER WAY???

  • IS_Data Insight View Data Function Limitation

    Hi Experts,
Is there any limitation to view data of a table using View Data function in Data Insight module in Information Steward. I come across a strange issue with this, the details are explained below.
I am trying to perform Data profiling on table, as part of this I imported table into a Data Insight project. When i tried to view data of a table using View Data function, it is showing blank like (0 from 998987). I am able able to see data in database and even in DS designer too.
Then i created a view on top of this table by selecting all columns and tried to view data, again showed blank. Then i removed some columns in view and tried, now it showed data. The table contains 150 columns, I used around 110 columns in view.
My question here is, is there any limitations in Data Insight for viewing data apart 500 records. Will View Data function consider the number of Rows or the size of data to display the data. If it consider these two, is there any option available in IS to control these two parameters i.e., increase / decrease the size or no of rows.
If anyone come across with this issue, could you please help me if any solutions to fix this.
    Thanks,
    Ramakrishna Kamurthy

    Hello Rama,
In IS 4.2 this limitation is actually stated.
See here: IS_421_user_en.pdf in Related Information section pg 44 which states that:
The software displays only 500 records when you view data from an SAP table.
Also more details available in section: 2.5.10.2 Limit of 500 records when viewing data from SAP tables.
The software displays only 500 records when you view data from an SAP table.
Views that contain SAP tables have the potential to be quite large, especially when they are joined with other SAP tables. The limit of 500 records when viewing data prevents your computer from hanging or never completing the task because the tables were too large.
In addition to the 500 records limit, you can take steps to enhance performance in the following ways:
    ● Reduce the size of the file by mapping fields, join conditions, filters, and so on to limit the data in the table to information that you really need.
    ● Use SAP ABAP-supported functions in forming expressions in views. Using non-supported functions is allowed, but doing so may adversely affect performance.
    ● Use the View Data filter tools when you view and export data from SAP tables.
With the 500 records limit for viewing SAP table data, there is a potential for no records showing up in the View Data window.
This could happen, for example, when the view contains a child view, the child view contains one or more SAP tables, and a join is set up to join the entire data set.
A message appears at the top of the View Data window that instructs you to export the data to an external source (text file, CSV, or Excel file) to view all of the records.
    I hope this is helpful.

  • Query a view w/data entered into a text field populated by 2 table fields

Hello, Looking for advise!!! I have a tabular canvas thats datablock uses a view to populate. In this canvas I have a text field that has been populated with first_name || ' ' || last_name in the database node of the property pallate column name. The text field is not in the table or view. I have created it in the data block and make it a database item. However, I would like to have the user push a search button to go into ENTER_QUERY mode then the user would enter the criteria to search on in this text field. The user would then push button to EXECUTE_QUERY. The result is I retrieve all records. I want any search criteria entered into this field to be used against the last_name field to retrieve any records equal to the search criteria entered, for example A%. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Hi!
You have to use PRE-QUERY trigger to compose the search criteria. Below I put an example of it. You have to have at least one item in the block wich is true database item (e.g. it has to exist in table or view on which your block is based). In the following example EMP_DESC is your non-database search item and EMP_ID is the database one.
    Declare
    Dummy VARCHAR2 (2000);
    begin
if :EMP.EMP_DESC IS NOT NULL and :EMP.EMP_ID IS NULL
    then
    Dummy := '#IN (SELECT emp_id FROM Employees WHERE Upper (emp_first_name)||'' ''||Upper (emp_sec_name) LIKE Upper (''%'||:EMP.EMP_DESC||'%''))';
    Copy (Dummy, 'EMP.EMP_ID');
    end if;
    end;
Thats it. Note the # sign in the first position of the Dummy assignment. This is required by forms to glue your search criteria and block's where clause. You may analize LAST_QUERY property of your block in order to understand how this work. Remember also to set the QUERY_LENGTH property of the EMP_DESC item to the value that could contain the whole Dummy string (otherwise it will give you an error and cut the mar the query).
    Hope this helps.
    Sergey.
P.S. And set your EMP_DESC database item property to NO.

  • Best ways to view data, total records of an application table ie VBAK

    Hi all,
What is the best way to view data of an application table in the source system?
I know about SE16....but are there other ways to know details ie the total no of records and different field information about a
application table ie VBAK in source R3?
Also, using SE16 when i checked for VBAK and clicked on the "number of enteries" then it showed 0...however
when i directly checked from the sqlplus then i found about 5000 records in there in VBAK. I am not sure why
via SE16 it showed 0. Does anybody have any idea what i missed here?
Thanks...will give points for ur input.
    ak

I tried "number of enteried" on se16 and it shows 0 enteries without any selection criterion...i cheked by putting relevant time range as well but it shows 0...
As i told that when i checked VBAK separately via logging to database directly then i did find 5678 rows there.
Please note that this is a new demo version....so i thought that i first need to activate the table which i did using tcode SE11. Now the VBAK table is active but still via SE16 shows 0 nuber of enteris....
    Can anybody please advise here..
    Thx
    ak

  • Unable to view data in some HR tables

Since I upgraded to SQL Developer 2.1.1.64 I have not been able to view data in the data tab for the following tables that I have run accross: per_all_people_f, per_all_assignments_f or per_all_positions_f.
Other tables that I have been using seem to be working fine, but these I need to use all the time. I get the column numbers returned, but no data or column headings.
Another co-worker that has upgraded is experiencing the same problem.

I could not get the ddl to show up on the sql tab in version 2.1.1.64, but I did run it in version 1.5.4 and this is what was returned.

    Hi All,
In Data Modeler, Data Dictionary Import Wizard, I'm able to connect to database. But while going to the second stage (Select Schema/Database), I'm getting an error "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist".
I am able to select the table with select * from all_tables and I can open many tables as well.
Could anyone tell me, whether I'm missing any privilege, that causing this error.
Thanks in advance for you support.

  • Refresh data in Table Maintenance view

    Hi,
I have created a table maintenance view for db table A and added my function button to this view. When I click the button I append  a few records to the table A from table B. But this recoreds are not displaied in the view.
If I rerun the view I can see added records.
How I have to refresh the view to display added records?
    Regards,
    Ilya

    Hi Jesus,
    COMMIT WORK isn't help me.
I found that I have to use TOTAL and EXTRACT structures to modify data in maintenance view.
It's fine. I do something like this in my FM
    MODULE 9CUSTOM_PF_BUTTON INPUT.
    lt_total[] = total[].
    lt_extract[] = extract[].
    CASE function.
          WHEN '9DOWNSH'.
             modify lt_total from wa_total.
             modify lt_extract from wa_extract
    ENDCASE.
    total[]   = lt_total[].
    extract[] = lt_extract[].
    ENDMODULE.                 " 9CUSTOM_PF_BUTTON  INPUT
But TOTL and EXTRACT tables contain data of  the current maintenance view.
I work with a view cluster and I have to append or delete records from one view if I do something in other view.
How I can modify data one view from another maintenance view?
If I have modified database tables directly I don't see changes in the view cluster.

  • Errors in the high-level relational engine. The data source view does not contain a definition for the table or view. The Source property may not have been set.

    Hi All,
I have a cube in which i'm using the TIME DIM that i created in the warehouse. But now i wanted a new measure in the cube which is Average over time and when i wanted to created the new measure i got a message that no time dim was defined, so i created a
new time dimension in the SSAS using wizard. But when i tried to process the new time dimension i'm getting the follwoing error message
"Errors in the high-level relational engine. The data source view does not contain a definition for "SSASTIMEDIM" the table or view. The Source property may not have been set."
Can anyone please tell me why i cannot create a new measure average over the time using my time dimension? Also what am i doing wrong with the SSASTIMEDIM, that i'm getting the error.
    Thanks

    Hi PMunshi,
According to your description, you get the above error when processing the time dimension. Right?
In this scenario, since you have updated the DSV, it should have no problem on the table existence. One possibility is that table has been specified for tracking in the notifications for proactive caching, but isn't available any more for some
reason. Please change the setting in Proactive Caching into "MOLAP".

  • Spry Tables and Xml Data Sets viewed in IE7

Has anyone ever run into a problem with Spry Tables and Xml
Data Sets viewed in IE7? Work fine in IE6 and Firefox, but get the
error "exception caught while loading feed.xml: [object Error]" in
    IE 7. Any ideas?
Attached is the xml I'm using.
    Thanks

I came looking for the answer to this question. I could not
find an answer. Eventually I found it the answer that worked for
me, a graphic designer with not much experience in xml.
The following url provided an errata file in PDF format:
    www.peachpit.com/dwcs3cib
which includes the following addendum to the incomplete
instructions in the book i was using to learn about spry:
"If Internet Explorer 7 is your primary browser, you'll nee
to take some extra steps to view spry dynamic content locally.
First, your site must be within the local server webroot; be sure
your Lessons folder is stored within the Inetpub>wwwroot folder.
Next, double-click the site name in the files panel to open the
Site Definition dialogue. Click the Testing Server category; from
the Access List choose Local/Network. Click Okay to close the Site
Definition dialogue. Now, when you preview your page with Internet
Explorer, your local Web server (localhost) serves the page as
    designed."
Horray for me! Now i can move on from here and actually get
    some work done!

  • View Customization Table changes and Data  table base changes in a report

    Hi All,
How to view Customization Table changes and DAta  table base changes in a report ,
Is it right transactions: SCU3 or RSVTPROT
Also plz let me know the concept of audit trial,
    Thanks
    SD

    Hi,
Changes to master data objects must be captured for the For compliance purposes. The auditor allows you to be able to view and print an audit log of changes to master data objects for a chosen period. It is very common for external auditors to focus on what has changed from one year or quarter to the next to help determine the nature, extent, and population for testing. To configure and access your audit log, perform the actions listed with each of the following utilities.
Audit Trail is used to track the record changes.
The report RPUAUD00 gives all the changes done to the masterdata by any user anytime.
But, before using this audit trial, please ensure that the system hardware is well equipped as the audit trials activation would later become a performance issue as this would occupy a lot of space in the coming time.
    Best Regards,
    Venkat.

  • Tables and views greyout in selection of data source

    Hi
I have setup Data Gateway and data sources to a on-prem SQK server in Power BI for Office 365. I have connected to the onsite database but some of the tables and views are greyed-out. The warning relates to the tables not supporting oData but I am not
sure what I need to do from here. Most of the tables are OK and I cant see what would be causing some of them to not be supported.
    Please advise
    Jason

Generally speaking, there are two possible common reasons.
all columns in table is nullable.
Or you have an unsupported column data type in table. Please check here.

  • No data When click view data in physical table.

    Hi all,
I am a new one for OBIEE 11.1.1.5.
    I met a problem when I creating a RPD.
After I load all table to physical layer, I found only one table show me no data, then I go back to check the DB and existing data in that table.
Would someone tell me how to fis this issue?
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    Anne

Steps to check it your end
1)did u update rowcount for that table? try to update row count in that table and then try to view data in physical layer.
    two ways--
(RPD-->tools menu-->options-->update all row count and also u can do it in physical layer -->just right click of required table and u can see update row count just select it then it will update it. after that u can try to test it.
    1) if you past it screen short/error message it could help to find the root cause
    2) make sure that table --> pointing connection pool info and user and password etc
    Thanks
