Table where savepoints are saved

Could anyone tell please tell me in which table of the database are all the savepoints saved?
Can I also see the date when the savepoint was created?

When you say "the docs say ..." what you really mean (presumably) is that the "Workspace Manager Developers' Guide says ...".
It is unfortunate that Oracle often uses the same word in different contexts to mean different things - but when you have a description in the concepts manual, and a description in the development guide for an option that very few people are likely to be using, you should allow for the possibility that the two documents are talking about two different things.
I haven't read the Workspace manuals for at least 5 years - but given your confusion I'd check whether Oracle meant the same thing by the word savepoint in this case: for example:

    You should be able to do so. I don't understand why you are getting this error.
    Are you sure you release the table metadata object before acting on the field
    metadata object ?

    First of all, are you using the OS native screen capture?
    If not, make sure the application you're using has been update for Lion.  I was using Snapz Pro for years, but I need to update it for use with Lion. Meanwhile Grab and the keyboard shortcuts are working on my Lion load.
    If you are using the native capture mode unsuccessfully, I would run the Disk Utility and repair permissions on the drive. For some reason, even in past OS Versions, routine maintenance of permissions makes life a lot easier.

  • Table where documents are linked to materials in product catalogs?

    We are working on ISA 5 and we are blocked trying to figure out which one is the table where we can see the link between a Document and the Material master located in a product Catalog.
    I've created the document via transaction - CV01N (Document creation and Assignment to the material master) and I've also assigned it via the catalog maintenance transaction - WWM2. But so far I cannot find the table where this assignment is done.
    Can you please help me on this one?

    Hi Lsurueta,
    GRC introduced "Data Mart(DM)" functionality in AC 5.3 from SP09 onwards.
    DM tables contains CUP & RAR table information. One of the DM table of CUP is "GRC_DM_AE_RQDWPHST" which contains "Request Workflow Details".
    Details of this table and some other tables on "Request Details" are listed in the attachment "AC_5_3_Datamart.pdf" listed in the Note # 1369045.

    Acrobat X saves documents automatically to my own user directory and will not allow me to save them to "Public" folders - says that isn't authorized. I want them to be saved directly to "Public" folders without having to move the file after it's saved. How do I change this?

    All my software installs with User: Jackie on the C Drive as the
    administrator, and where files are usually stored by default. But I work in
    the User: Public\My Documents folder because my husband and I share files
    via our home network. So, when I convert a web page to Acrobat, for
    example, the file goes to User:Jackie. When I try to change the location to
    User:Public\My Documents, it says I don't have permission to save to this
    file and would I want to save it to User:Jackie instead. Which I do. And
    then I move it to Public\My Documents. A hassle.
    With Microsoft Office, you can indicate your preferences for which is the
    default folder is for various types of files. Is there something like that
    with Acrobat?

    i like to know in witch table SAP save smartforms.
    the idea is make a program to do back up from one smartform and then restore in other system.
    for example, to get a program source code , we can do a "READ REPORT"" and save in a table to download, then we can upload an make "INSERT REPORT".
    Well , i like to do something like that.
    I know that i can go Utilities->download and get a XML file.
    But i wish to do the same programmatically.

  • Transforming Entities to Tables - No changes are saved to the database

    I have inherited a Designer 9i application which has 4 containers. Changes were maid to one container and I'm trying to transform Entities into Tables.
    The transformation runs fine and I get "Changes posted to database" messages.
    The problem is when I go in the RON and try to see if changes were maid to the Tables: none ! Nada !
    Everything that came with the application (dmp file from vendor) is there but nothing of the new stuff...
    I tried Default mode and "Advanced" several times to no avail...
    I'm using Designer 9.0.2.10 on a 9i database... Everything is compiled and functionning properly beside to changes that won't get saved into Tables...
    Any ideas ?

    The fact that you are using the repository owner may be your problem. NEVER use the repository owner for day to day work. The only tool that should ever connect as the owner is the Repository Administration Utility (RAU). Instead, have the DBA create a user for your day to day work, use RAU to grant that user access to the repository, and in the Repository Object Navigator (RON) grant the user rights on various applications.

  • Location where files are saved

    I have a 500-GB drive that I have my Final Cut Pro Documents folder saved to.
    1. Are there any issues with also storing other documents on this same drive, such as backup directories of iTunes, documents, DVD Studio Pro Documents, etc.?
    2. If I want to move my Final Cut Pro Documents folder to another hard drive, if I copy this folder will it copy EVERYTHING related to my projects that I need so I can continue working on them on another drive?

    1) We just don't know what kind of drive you are talking about so we assume and hope that it has a reasonable storage reliability (Don't tell me it is a Raid 0)
    2) When you work with FCP you have a project and a sequence, clips inhabit the sequence and they represent partial or full extention of a media (the captured footage). You just need to make sure that the saved project with its clips can trace the original media at all times so move files and folders accordingly.

    We have one interface program for one time process.When I was testing the process it was taking too much time to load the data around 1000 records.
    it happens in 2 steps
    1 puts into stage table
    2 puts into base table
    in the process/package I have delete statement that deletes data from stage table before each process.
    Stage table did not have any indexes but the base table has(obvisiosly)
    any idea?

    Is this interface program a seeded or custom one?
    Please enable trace on this concurrent program as per (Note: 296559.1 - FAQ: Common Tracing Techniques within the Oracle Applications 11i/R12) and generate the TKPROF to find out why it takes that long to load/delete the data.
