Tables of rcu schema
Which tables created by RCU are used for OBPM 11g and SOA suite?
Tables under schema <extn>SOAINFRA (for e.g - DevSOAINFRA) are used for SOA and BPM 11g.

and also checked this schema_version_registry table is not there along with other rcu schemas
I wanted to know whether this installation will create all these schemas by default or its need manual creation
also I tried to start rcu , getting below error

PadmajaEmmanuel,
It's been a while since you posted your message, but here's the info in the event you haven't already found it:

I just started digging into XMP a few days ago and am planning to write software to add/read info from image files for the automagic creation of web pages. I've been using Adobe's XMP SDK and would be very interested in hearing how you wrote your code.

How to find out list of clob/blob tables in a schema
Hi,
I have tricky situation...i have 119 tables out of which 11 tables are clob/blob tables...is there any view where i can find out list of tables are clob/blob tables? (at schema level view means user_<>)
-- Raman.USER_TAB_COLS includes the data type, column name, and table name for each column in each table in the system. You could query that looking for columns with a DATA_TYPE of CLOB or BLOB. If some tables have multiple LOB columns and you want them to appear only once, you'd have to throw a DISTINCT on the table name.

Can we export DATA from all tables in a schema?
Hi,
I have a question; Can we export all the DATA from all the tables present in the schema to any source (eigther CSV, TXT, DAt, etc..)?
Or
Can I have a PL/SQL procedure to display DATA from all Tables in a schema?
With Best Regards,

This is pretty much what you need.

v_sql := 'SELECT COUNT(*) FROM ' || i.object_name ;
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE v_sql INTO V_COUNT;
if v_count > 0 then
v_sql := 'SELECT * FROM ' || i.object_name ;
select column_name
bulk collect
into v_col_tbl
from DBA_TAB_COLUMNS
WHERE TABLE_NAME = I.OBJECT_NAME
AND OWNER = IN_OWNER_NAME;
-- start selecting the column and exporting using the column names selected.
end if;
if v_col_tbl.count > 0 then
for i in v_col_tbl.first .. v_col_tbl.last
loop
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_lINE(v_col_tbl(i));
end loop;
end if;
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_lINE( i.object_name || '-' || v_count);
END LOOP;
END;

How to load SAP R/3 tables into a schema in SAP HANA Cloud Platform
Hello, everyone.
First of all, my apologies for any basic mistakes, I'm new here, so there's a lot of stuff I don't know yet.
I need to upload some tables to a schema in my HANA trial account to test some algorithms and see if the kind of application I want to build is possible, but I don't know the best way to do this.
To my understanding, using the Cloud Connector would merely make my tables visible to my application in the cloud, but it would not actually upload them (or rather, I'm sure there's a way to upload them using it, but I suspect there are far simpler methods out there).
I think one of the simplest possible methods would be to create the schema, open a tunnel using the console client, and to import the tables to the schema via the HANA Studio. Maybe, if that doesn't work, a CMIS repository could be used (although I'm somewhat skeptical, as I think something like this it's not its intended use). Or maybe there's another possibility I'm not seeing. Either way, I would love to hear some answers that could shed some light on this.
Also, as I mentioned earlier I'm only using a trial account for this, I don't know if there's any limitation that could prevent me from doing this. I'd also like to hear your opinion on this matter.
Thank you.BUDAT is the technical name for Posting Date field. This field is used many DB Tables/ Strucutres. Using where used option you can find the required tables.
I suggest you to look at BSEG table for Finace Document postings by Posting Date. -
Accessing tables from different schema in CDS and AMDP
Hi All,
We are working on a HANA system which has several schema replicated from SAP R/3/Non SAP systems. We have BW 7.4 SP9 deployed on the same system and accessing the HANA views using latest BW virtual objects such as Open ODS , Composite providers etc.
We are also using the BW system for few ABAP based data processing developments. We are currently accessing HANA views in ABAP programs by creating dictionary views based on external HANA views.
We would like to however use recent possibilities of CDS and AMDP for better life cycle management of ABAP based solutions. The open SAP course on this subject was of very good help. Thanks a lot "open SAP team" for that. I would however have few open questions,
As I understand AMDP gives us full flexibility of writing sql procedures within ABAP development environment, but can we access tables from different schema into AMDP code. If yes, then sample code would help.
If the answer of first question is yes, then how do we manage transports between development and production systems where the schema names would be different. Currently in open HANA developments, such transport is manged using Schema mapping.
Can I also use different schema tables in CDS views.
We are updating few tables in ABAP dictionary after applying processing logic in ABAP program as detailed in step 1. With the new approach using AMDP, can we directly update database schema tables which will give us an optimization advantage.
New ABAP HANA program interfaces are quite promising and we would like to use them to optimize many data intensive applications.
Thanks & Regards,
AnilHi Anil,
I can only answer 1. and 2. (and would be interested into 3. as well):
1.
Yes you can access tables from a different schema and also HANA views. In this case no 'using' is needed.
Examples:
RESULT = SELECT
FROM
"SAP_ECC"."T441V" AS t,
"_SYS_BIC"."tmp.package/AFPO" AS a.
WHERE ...
2. In this case, if you need schema mapping: You could use HANA (projection) views which just forward to a different schema, also see example.
Best regards,

Edited by: user8105261 on Nov 25, 2009 11:06 PMA typical way to reset a schema (e.g. to recreate a schema on the test database) is totally different.
1) Drop the user
2) recreate the user including table scripts from
2a) your version control system
2b) from a export dumpfile using the "nodata" option while importing -
How do I move a table from one schema to another schema on Oracle XE?
How do I move a table from one schema to another schema on Oracle XE?
Hi,
I tried to use the insert/select statement that you had given, it did not work.
The error is ORA-00913: too many values.
But finally what I did was, I went into the system schema where the table was and generated the DDL through the utilities and afterwards I imported them into the schema that I am currently working on. It solved the problem!
However I am still curious to know why the insert/select statement did not work? Do you know any site/tutorial which gives a real time example?
Thank you

How do I move a table from one schema to another schema?
How do I move a table from one schema to another schema?
Grant access to the table from the source schema to destination schema.
GRANT SELECT ON <TABLE_NAME> TO <DESTINATION SCHEMA>A simple way would be to use CREATE Table with select syntax (in destination schema)
CREATE TABLE <TABLE_NAME> AS SELECT * FROM <SOURCE SCHEMA>.<TABLE_NAME><li>However, you would be in <b><u>trouble when the table has index,constraints and triggers</u></b>.
So you can better of grab the DDL statement of the table(and any additional components) andd then create the table in the destination schema.You can use SQL developer, Toad or Apex's Object browser for this.
After the table is created, Insert the records using SELECT.
INSERT INTO <TABLE_NAME> SELECT * FROM <SOURCE SCHEMA>.<TABLE_NAME>This question is discussed in great detail in this <b>AskTom thread</b> -
Query OR Stored Proc to get data from Tables from All Schemas in the d/base
Hello Experts, (I appologize if i am not using the right way to ask questions)
I have a database, and it has around 400 schemas in it. I have designed a query which will fetch the data from three different table's from Schema1.
But it will be a tedious process of entering the 400 schemas names and pulling the information.
I would like to know as to what would be the best possible way to;
1) Look for all the schemas in the database
2) Look for those specific tables in the schema, which has the data in the tables.
3) If the tables are not present, than Ignore that schema and proceed further.
4) Load the data into a table
Any help, would appreciate it.
Thanks!
The query that i am using is as follows;
-- Query to select all the Schemas from the database
select username from all_users
order by username;
-- Sample Query to see if Tables exsist in the schema
SELECT DISTINCT OWNER, OBJECT_NAME
FROM ALL_OBJECTS
WHERE OBJECT_TYPE = 'TABLE'
AND OBJECT_NAME IN ('ENROLLMENT', 'PRDCT', 'L_P_L')
AND OWNER in ('Schema_1', 'Schema_2', Schema_3', Schema_4',Schema_5', Schema_6')

ORDER BY OWNER; Do you want to give a list of possible schemas (like the 6 above), or do you want to consider all schemas, however many and whatever they are called?
You can get the right information for ALL_OBJECTS, but, since you known all the objects of interest are tables, ALL_TABLES will be faster and simpler.
--Query to get the data from the tables in a Schema
select 'Schema_1@DATABASE_NAME' AS SCHEMA,

L_PROD_LINE.PROD_LINE,

Schema_1.PRDCT,
Schema_1.L_P_L
WHERE
ENROLLMENT.PRODUCT_ID = PRDCT.PRODUCT_ID AND
PRODUCT.PROD_LINE_ID = L_P_L.ID
GROUP BY
L_P_L.PROD_LINE;I take it that the tables in question are ENROLLMENT, PRDCT and L_P_L; they won't have different names in different schemas.
You can start this way:
BEGIN
FOR c IN (
SELECT owner
FROM all_tables
WHERE table_name IN ( 'ENROLLMENT'
, 'PRDCT'
, 'L_P_L'
GROUP BY owner
HAVING COUNT (*) = 3
LOOP
... -- Now get the results for tables in the c.owner schema
END LOOP;
END;
/This will find the schemas that have all 3 of those tables.
Inside the loop, write another dynamic query. All that will change is the value of c.owner
Sorry, I'm running out of time now. I hope this helps. -

I have updated another tables based on schema and it works fine, any idea?OK this is your decision. However If you are building a production system that is important to your orgnanization as the product manager I strongly recommend that you either upgrade to a least 9.2.0.3.0 or discontinue using XML DB technology completely
There are probably somewhere in the order of 500 serious XML DB related bugs fixed between 9.2.0.1.0 and 9.2.0.7.0, all of which have been regarded as serious enough to impossible for a customer to develop or deploy a production system. None of these will EVER be fixed or available as patches for 9.2.0.1.0.
The way in which we store the data on the disc is different in 9.2.0.3.0, and while in theory we migrate the on disc format when you upgrade in practice I know that is has never been tested with any significant amount of data present.
Also you really want to take the support situation into account. Image this, it's 3:00am in the morning and your production system fails due one of the bugs that have been fixed in a later release of the product. You cannot find a workaround and you call oracle support for help. They WILL say, sorry there is nothing we can do until you upgrade to 9.2.0.3.0. Now you have to upgrade in hurry and then re-test everything you have done before you can even start working on a fix.
From a business perspective staying on 9.2.0.1.0 and continuing to use the XML DB technology makes no sense. I hope I have made this clear. If you want I will be more than happy to discuss this issue with your development managers.
