Task code automatically populates in the table

Dear Expert,
When auto Tasking Notification to the production engineer (single user), Task code 170 AUTOMATICALLY populates along with codes 70 and 65 in the Item speacific Task(s) table of IQS21 screen.
Only codes 70 and 65 are required for initial tasking, I'm not sure why the Task code 170 automatically populates in the table when I assign to that particular user (production engineer).
When I auto Task to some other User this problem is NOT happening.
Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Hi Dan,
Once they created the notification, then it will be assigned to the concern person for the task, but this error is occuring when we assign to the specific guy in the production dept.
Thanks

  • Transaction codes used to find the table(s), query/queries, and joins.

    Hi.
I would like to learn how to find out which table(s) to use to create a query(ies), how tables are joined and how to create a query. Besides SQVI and SE16, what other transaction can I access? I would like to use SAP query tools that requires no programming.
    Thank you.

    Hi Minerva ,
Its not Read-only it is Display Autorization only.It will be comes from role what they assign to ur User ID.
coming to SQVI is  the simple and best way to create SAP query without any Programming knowledge, but u have to know what tables u have to use to get desire o/p.

  • Execute Process Task - Error :The process exit code was "2" while the expected was "0".

I am designing a utility which will keep two similar databases in sync. In other words, copying the new data from db1 to db2  and updating the old data from db1 to db2.
For this I am making use of the 'Tablediff' utility which when provided with server name, database, table info will generate .sql file which can be used to keep the target table in sync with the source table.
I am using the Execute Process Task  and the process parameters I am providing are:
    WorkingDirectory : C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\COM
    Executable :      C:\SQL_bat_Files\SQL5\TC_CTI\customer.bat
The customer.bat file will have the following code:
    tablediff -sourceserver "LV-SQL5" -sourcedatabase "TC_CTI" -sourcetable "CUSTOMER_1" -destinationserver "LV-SQL2" -destinationdatabase "TC_CTI" -destinationtable "CUSTOMER"  -f "c:\SQL_bat_Files\sql5\TC_CTI\sql_files\customer1"
the .sql file will be generated at:  C:\SQL_bat_Files\sql5\TC_CTI\sql_files\customer1.
    The Problem:
The Execute Process Task is working fine, ie., the tables are being compared correctly and the .SQL file is being generated as desired. But the task as such is reporting faliure with the following error :
[Execute Process Task] Error: In Executing "C:\SQL_bat_Files\SQL5\TC_CTI\package_occurrence.bat" "" at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\COM", The process exit code was "2" while the expected was "0". ]
Some of you may suggest to just set the ForceExecutionResult = Success (infact this is what I am doing now just to get the program working), but, this is not what I desire.
    Can anyone help ?

    Jwelch,
    Thanks for the input,
"Change the SuccessValue property of the Execute Process task from 0 to 2 (which means that you will get a failure if there are no differences, since TableDiff returns 0 in that case)."
-- Not possible b'coz if there is no difference in the tables, which is also a possiblility, the job will fail.
"FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue to FALSE (which means it won't fail regardless of the code returned)."
-- Does this mean the job will never fail? Lets say the target table doesnt exist, then, by setting "FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue to FALSE " will the job fail? I guess my question is, how is what you've suggested different from setting "ForceExecutionResult = Success". Both the cases will show the task status "Success" even if there is an error.
Is there a way to keep the property of job 'Failure' if there is any generic errors like target table not found or say, the path given for .sql file output is not valid etc.
    Thanks again,
    Little_Birdie.

  • How to display the actual code name on the table of the uix file?

I have established entity object:Schoolinfo, and a view object SchoolinfoView, and registered in the application module.and I drag and drop to a uix file the Datacontrol and it works well,i can see the schoolinfo table's contents. The problem is:in schoolinfo there is an attribute schooltype code, like 1,and referenced to another table:CodeDict in the database, and I want to display the actual code name when displaying the table on the uix file, like "middle school", not just the code 1.How can I do?

This is more of BC4J question.
The data that is displayed (View) is a SQL query. You should be able to change the SQL query represented by the view object appropriately to get the desired output. You can see more information on view objects from Jdev help to get more information on it.

  • Creating file containing a RecCount of the table

I have a SP which dynamically Creates a <Table1> populate it with data.  This SP is called from the SSIS package and at the end of package I'll drop the table <Table1> created in the SP.
But Before dropping it, I have to generate 2 files using the table created in the SP
    1. One which gives the count of that table <table1> in file ( just count and nothing in that file)
    2. A .txt file containing entire dump of that table <table1>
I have developed a CM for txt file, which dynamically constructs the file name and path( this one I have tested working) figure 2
figure1 :- ESQL1 Get the file and folder path details  and execute the SP -- this working
ESQL2 Get the Name & count from the <Table1> in a package variable --This is also working
ScriptTask to construct the full path where the files to be placed --This is also working
Now what is failing is, I am not able to pass the name of the table from OLEDB using the variable to the flat file destination transformation.

    Hi Neil,
If I understand correctly, you have already generate a text file that store the count of the table. Then you want to generate another file that contains all the table data in another Data Flow Task before dropping the table.
If in this scenario, I suggest we can insert another Data Flow Task connect to the current Data Flow Task. Then directly load the table data from OLE DB Source to Flat File Destination. After the Data Flow Task, we can insert Execute SQL Task to drop the
    table.
If you still couldn’t execute the package successfully, please post the error message from Output windows.  If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

  • Ean code automatically in MM02

    Hello,
I tried to implement the user exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 to create a new ean code automatically when press the save button in material transaction MM02.
I filled the table SMEAN_ME_TAB with new ean codes, but when the execution of save in the MM02 finalize, the new values I introduce don't appear in master material.
I don't know if this user exit I can do it, or I need a Badi, which one?. In the case I need a badi to do it, where can call it?. in the same user exit?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jordi

I've not used it but as per interface document and BADI document, it can be used for create as well change. I think you will have to try it out.
When a material master record is created or extended in the standard R/3 System, default data is essentially determined from Customizing tables and from a reference material (if one has been specified).

  • How to obtain the table index in word use LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office

I created a word templete and it had several tables. When I use the "Word Edit Cell" function in LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office, the function need "table index", and I didn't find any function to get or set the table index in word document. How can I achieve my attention to write value to specified table cell using the "Word Edit Cell" function?
    Thanks for reply!
    YangAfreet

    Hi yangafreet
You do not need to get the table index for the word edit cell.vi from anywhere. LabVIEW will automatically index all the tables in the document. See the attatched vi for an example.

  • How to populate a dynamic table according to the choice of the viewer

    Hi there,
I ran into a dead-end on my  "Events" page.
There is a dynamic table getting the info from a database. It will initially show the Upcoming Events.
At this point my question is this:
*Can I populate the dynamic table based on a condition where the current date and the event date (as in the db) will be compared and if the event date is later than the current date, it will be displayed in the table. Otherwise, it won't.
If I can do that, can someone please help me out with the code?
Besides that, on the right side of the page there are 3 options for the viewer:
    1. View upcoming events
    2. View past events
    3. Search events by month and year
What I want to do is that when the viewer clicks on 'past events', the table will be reset and populated with those events whose date has passed.
When the viewer clicks on "upcoming events", the table is reset again and populated with the relevant events.
When the viewer selects a month and a year, search the database to find the relevant records.
Can all of this be written in php? Since I read smwhere that php doesn't work with onclick functions... i got confused. Cuz the data in my table will have to vary depending on what the viewer is clicking (upcoming events/past events/search events). I do not wish to create separate pages for each type of event.
If anybody has a better suggestion to carry out this task, please share!
    Thanks!

    >Can I populate the dynamic table based on a condition where the current date and the event date (as in the db)
    >will be compared and if the event date is later than the current date, it will be displayed in the table. Otherwise, it won't.
Of course. You just need to compare the date field in your database with the current date as returned by your DBMS date function. Assuming you are using MySQL, you would compare your column with the currdate() function and use the appropriate greater than/ less than operators in the SQL WHERE clause. If you don't know what a WHERE clause is then I would urge you to learn SQL as soon as possible. You can't build data driven sites without a basic understanding of SQL.
    >Since I read smwhere that php doesn't work with onclick functions..
What this means is that php is a server side language, where user interactions always occur at the client site. But that does not mean you can't invoke a server side action from a client side event. You most certainly can and would.
You might consider adding links to the dynamic table page that pass a querystring to the php script which determine what filter to add in the WHERE clause- greater than the current date, less than, etc.
Also, in the future, please post these questions to the application development forum.

  • Output of the T-Code FBL5N to a Internal Table

    Hi Guru's ,
My requirement is to get the output of a standard program (RFITEMAR) T-code FBL5N into an internal table in my Z program.
I tried to copy the standard program but , the includes are copied with standard names and some where it is taking the reference of the standard program and resulting into a dump after a I selesct ' Switch List ' from Menu ' Environment '
Please guide me for the same....
I don't want to spend time on writing the logic on which SAP has already worked.
    Regards,
    Archana W

    Hi,
Problem arises due to the copying object during program copy to Z-Program.
It does not create any impact of copying standard Includes during copy.
You have to select all the check boxes during copy a program through standard program.
    GO TO T.Code  SE38
Right the program name you want to copy.
GOTO MENU Option -> Program -> Select COPY,
It will show source and target program name.
Make Target Program as Z and clik OK.
It will show another scree for documentation and other object associated with Program.
Select all check boxes and click ok.
System automatically assigne all standard object and includes to your z-program.
after that you can do the changes in you z-program.
pass all the data displayed on screen into the internals after declaration.

    Anil
