Tax code - % change in FTXP

Hi,
Currently we are using tax code x1 for 10%output tax, suddenly on one day it was observed that tax code is changed to 0% output tax in FTXP.
Is there a way to find changes done to particular tax code?
Awaiting for your response..
Thanks in advance
Prasad

Hi,
If you are using Tax procedure TAXINN then there is a procedure to see the changes.
Go to FV12 and put the condition and select the combination for which the tax percentage was maintained............then go to the upper tool bar and click Environment .It will give a option to see the changes.

  • New tax code configuration in FTXP

    Hi,
Can anyone help me in creation of new sales tax code. We have already existing tax codes like P1, P2 etc., Now we want to create P3. How should we create? Can i copy from P1 to P3 in FTXP? Apart from these, is there anything needs to be configured?
Once, will it be created can i post the invoice and capture the tax based on defined tax rate?
    Please help..
    Thanks
    Deepak
Moderator: Please, search SDN. Yes, you can copy the tax and update the rates, if required

    Hi RaviRaj,
    1. "User will choose" -
This "choosing" is done by with the help of Tax Classification concept.
    E.g.
TClass. Mat  , TClass Cust., VAT %
    1, 1, 1-12%
    1, 2, 2-4%
    etc.
The above is done via condition record settings (+ creation of tax codes with respective values).
In essence, first business gives their tax requirements & then that is inputted in the system & then with respective MMR, CMR, SAP automatically gives you the selected value for condition type.
    2. Manually choose -
In VA01 / 02, User can change the Tax classification for both CMR (on header level) and MMR (on item level) to get different values for the tax cond type.
But first various tax code (with values) have to be created. In your original post you have mentioned only one tax code with 14%.
In VK12 required information has to be maintained.
    3. (NOT recommended, but an option) The users can have a paper with a table consisting of Tax Class MMR, Tax Class CMR & corresponding VAT values; and then go ahead with step 2 and get the required VAT values. Populating all the vat values in Sales order, Tab conditions shall create lot of lines that are not required (e.g. vat 1- 12 %, vat2- 4 %, vat 7- 14 %)
    4. My suggestion to you is - read the theory of Tax Classification & calculation of Tax %; things shall get clearer. & think if the business has set rules for example M-1 with VAT 7 is tax exempt then avail SAP for calculation rather than user done calculations;

  • Mass Contract Update - Item price become zero after Tax Code change

    HI Guru,
I have issue on the contract net price which become zero after change in Tax code of item.
Took the opportunity to update contracts to reflect the changing VAT code (from V0 to V1 for some items) from the Trx code: MEMASSCONTRACT. However, having run the transactions (ME33K) above the contracts are now displaying zero prices on the Item Overview.  The conditions are all correct (PB00) and the follow on purchase orders seem to be picking up the correct prices but we need to resolve the issue of zero prices on the item overview.
Please help me in this why it is happening like this? & what is the solution for it.

  • Tax Code changed after booking order..

    Hi,
We faced an issue that the tax code is changed to be the default value of the bill-to site after booking.
For example, The tax code of customer A bill-to is VAT0 (means tax=0%).
While creating a new order, 'VAT0' is auto carried out as the defaulting tax code.
We maintain tax code to be VAT5 (means tax=5%) and save the change. It work fine and correctly before booking, order total is included 5% tax.
But after booking, the tax code is auto-changed to be VAT0, and there is no tax in the order.
    What is the problem??
Should we maintain tax code after booking???
Or some setting should be checked to prevent the issue??
    Thanks in advance,
    best regards,
    Zhxiang

    Hi,
Here, we have tax method, in AR system options, set to Latin Tax Method, and Tax Code does not get default again after booking. If it is changed from VAT0 to VAT5, it remains VAT5 after booking.
I changed Tax Method to VAT, in a test database, and the tax code is not changed back to the default value after booking.
In the order type, tax event is set to entering, and we are using the original Defaulting Rules for tax code field.

  • Tax Percentage NOT Refresh for MWST Condition when Tax Code Change

    Hi All,
I have maintained MWST condition on Purchase Order with a default value P1 (10%).
During data entry, when I attempted to overwrite the tax code to P0 (0%), under Condition tab the tax percentage still showing 10% instead of refresh the rate according to the tax code.
Is this a config error or system behaviour? Are there any SAP Note that I can apply to fix the problem?
Applied SAP Note 655335 - ME22 ME22n tax at service level - Doesn't seem to fix the problem.

  • FTXP - activate tax code

    hi,
Pl. help me in activating a line in a Tax code in
Transaction FTXP  which is in deactivated state.
    Regards
    Darshana

Can you tell me which SAP version u r using and which Tax Procedure u r using TAXINN or TAXINJ
To Activate the line first go to SPRO
Financial Accounting --> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) --> Tax on Sales/Purchases --> Basic Settings --> Check Calculation Procedure
After executing Check Calculation Procedure select Define procedure there you select your Tax procedure whether TAXINN or TAXINJ which ever is activated in ur company.
    {pls chk in FTXP  for which Condition Type & for which level you want to activate that.}
Then after selecting the Procedure TAXINN or TAXINJ, double click on Control Data
There you can see the procedure defined, over there three check boxes column u can see, then for which Condition Type & for which level you want to activate you just remove the tick from any of  the check boxes relevant to your Condition type & Level. Then SAVE see the effect in FTXP
    If sufficient provide Points

  • Tax code in MIRO Tax tab

    Hi,
As of now, MIRO is picking up tax from PO line item.
Now I want to add another tax to that line ...so would like to assign one more tax code to that line through taxes tab in MIRO screen - but I am not able to add it...taxes tab is greyed out (only the tax code from Po appears and calculate tax box ix checked)......so is it that can't I post with 2 taxes for a line?
What should I do in such case?
In short, how to enter the second tax code?
    Thanks in advance
    SKD

    Hello,
I think you don't need add second line item to MIRO PO side. You can split tax line item with your tax code customizing on FTXP.
    You must make some customizing.
    Define an internal processing key,
Financial Accounting (New) -> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
You should copy MWS to ZWS
Then assign this key to your tax procedure.
Financial Accounting (New) -> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
Then you can see it on FTXP for your tax code. For example, you can enter %5 to MWS and %10 to ZMW line on tax master data. When you post an invoice with this tax code and if your amount base is 100,00 for ex. system calculate two line item, first is 5,00 and second is 10,00.
    I hope it helps,

  • Deletion Of Tax Codes

    Hi All,
Tel me how to delete taxcodes is there any tcode for  delete the tax codes. Is it possible to delete tax codes through LSMW?. If Yes Tell me the procedure.
    Thanks in advance
Edited by: Deepti reddy on May 12, 2008 2:16 PM

    Dear Deepti,
You can delete the tax code directly from FTXP. As per ur post I understand that the delete option is inactive. For that u will have to get the client open. Once done, delete button will be active & u can delete the tax code.
Also, u will have to make the changes or deletion for the assignments done for that tax codes.

    Regards,
    Srikanth

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for your reply...
But my problem is i have maintained Tax Percent Amount as 4% in the system for a tax code. By using it i have created a sales order and i did partial delivery, after that the Tax percent amount changed from 4% to 5%. And now when i do delivery for the remaining qty, in the printour of delivery document we are taking the tax percent from KONV table, where it is showing 4% only. To print Tax percent amount as 5%, i wanted in which table the tax percent amount is maintained??

  • Exporting tax codes by WPMA

    Hi,
I would like to send to my POS system tax codes. WPMA export all tax codes defined in FTXP for plant country .
I thought that WPMA exports only taxes defined for condition type MWST and current day, but it was mistake.
I would like to to export only some of tax codes.
May I make changes at FTXP? Or can I make some settings at SPRO - SD - POS - Adjustments - Conversion ? Or something else?
    Thank you,
    Dan

    Hello Dan,
You can restrict that in WPMA itself using Sales Org/DC/Store.
    Thanks,
