"Templates" ? or Signature ?

Hi,
I am a newbie as far as this is concerned.
Currently on Mail 2.0.7 and have imported older mail and mailboxes.
One of these is called "Templates" and seems to be from an earlier incarnation of Mail.
I want to be able to create a stock reply that is like the Memo one.
This has two graphics attatched. One for the background like a yellow lined American Legal pad (I think they are called) and another for the centralised "Memo" graphic.
I can duplicate it to Draft but do not seem to be able to get it to accept new text or to send in a fashion that displays it like it displays in the Template mailbox.
IS this at all possible ?
I have looked at several Add-Ons such as MailTemplateEditor but this seems to only create stock replies of the Text type (possibly with individual graphics/logos or Pics as Signatures like the one I use here).
Do I need to look at creating a larger Signature that I can write over ?
If so How is that done.
I have Seached this forum but the answers would only seem to get me to the same point I am already at.
They are also failry old and would seem too old to addd a "Me too" comment.

  • PDF Template Digital Signature Error

    BI Pub 11.1.1.5.0 --
Just wondering if anyone has found a workaround to the error below ...
In order for end users to digitally sign a pdf temple field in adobe reader, adobe pro has to "Extend features to Adobe Reader" on the template but that functionality breaks when BI Publisher modifies the form by layering data into it. So when the form is opened the user will get an error like:
"This document has enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Contact the original author."
Has anyone been able to successfully implement this functionality?

Upgrading a sensor via VMS is part of our standard testing procedure for a new signature update and it passed the test!
Unfortunately, for some reasons, the checksum of the file published on Cisco.com doesn't match the checksum of the file we have tested.
My apologies for any inconvenience it could have caused, we are working to have this fixed asap!
I'll post again once this has been done.

  • Adding actual signatures to email

This question is directed to FrankBe specifically, or to anyone who has personalized mail. How did you create your signature? thanks.

Hey Joe!   When you create the code, there will be two tabs; one for website and one for email.  You will need to copy the email code.  In your email template or signature, insert and image of a paypal button and then hightlight that image and chose to insert hyperlink and copy and paste the code.   Hope this helps!

  • Images in mail signatures?

Is it possible to paste in a graphic (company logo) into the signature in Mail on Yosemite?
I tried and got a blocked plugin message.   Not sure what kind of plug in it might be, but is there a file format (.png?) that is acceptable?

Yes, you should be able to drag a graphic into the signature pane of the Mail>Preferences window. I have done it successfully with a .png, but it should work with any image format.
However, what you can no longer do in Yosemite as you could in previous OS X versions is make the image link to a website. Nor can you align it in the center in this signature pane as you once could. You have to center the image in an actual e-mail template.
I am also experiencing another problem when I include an image and/or when I change the default signature text issued by the system: When I toggle between one mail account to the other in a e-mail template, the signature from one account does not go away when the other account comes up. There is some traffic about this on the Apple Forum. Several of us hope that this is something Apple will address in a Yosemite update.

  • Outlook signature deleted

Everytime I sync my blackberry storm I lose my signature in outlook.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
Please check the signatures templates per signature, one for each email format and see what's the content:
    Plain Text-> <signature name>.txt
    HTML-> <signature name>.htm
    Rich Text-> <signature name>.rtf
You can find the files here:
    Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 - C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures
    Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures
Also, check if the old signature templates are still there, if yes, delete them and try again.

  • Outlook Signature Duplication

I created a new updated signature in Outlook and deleted the old one.  When I start a new email, all looks fine and only the current signature is visible.  However, when my recipients receive their messages, the original signature which is deleted,
is appearing right below the new one.  Every time I reply to a message, it repeats itself.  Since the original signature has been removed, I'm stumped on what to do you correct this issue if it even is something I can correct.
    Thank you!

  • Where can I find detailed, systematic HELP for advanced topics relating to Thunderbird?

In moving from XP to Windows 7, I opted for Thunderbird as email client in order to bypass Microsoft's hyper-intrusive Windows Live Mail (I used Outlook Express for years).
I have a very complicated email structure, and it's taken me weeks (seriously) to learn how to replicate it in TBird. Now I'm trying to customize TBird further, but none of the TBird articles/forum Q&A's/Google searches address my questions.
There is no live tech support for TBird, and I'm just about ready to leave it for good. However -- one last effort: where can I find detailed, systematic HELP for advanced topics relating to Thunderbird?
    Thanks.

I am no expert, but I don't know of any authoritative reference as to what elements of HTML and CSS are supported in Thunderbird. However, as I believe you appreciate, it's more than just what Thunderbird supports, but one must also think about what is likely to work in other email clients. Keep it simple. Avoid ancient deprecated tags that other email clients may not support, and for similar reasons, avoid cutting edge technology. Remember that recipients using tablets or smartphones won't appreciate large fancy email documents.
The only thing ''guaranteed'' to work in email is plain text. ;-)
If you haven't already discovered it, the Stationery add-on is designed specifically to support OE stationery in Thunderbird. Your existing stationery may "just work" in this add-on. It makes switching between various stationery templates much easier, but I'm not confident that it will affect interpretation of your CSS or HTML coding.
Your code is at least clean and minimal. Most times my involvement with troublesome templates and signatures centres on the horrible bloat and mso custom code generated by Word or Outlook.
Having said that, you and I are mortal enemies, as I don't have much patience with what you aspire to achieve. I specifically don't like background images, nor being obliged to suffer other folks' bizarre choice of typefaces and colours (but your simple 12pt black Tahoma is quite inoffensive. ;-) ) I'm of an age where my tolerance and eyesight are easily offended.
Nonetheless, I'm intrigued by how to parse the tag for the background image, as it doesn't look like a legitimate pathname to a graphics file. Does the background image actually appear as required?

  • Why do unexpected characters show up in the gmail e-mails I compose?

I am using Firefox 3.6.24. I had upgraded to a later version, but it put so much stuff at the bottom of my netbook screen that I rolled it back to 3.6.
When I compose an e-mail in gmail, unwanted characters insert themselves into the body of my e-mail. In html, it looks like a free-floating "1" (without quotes) and a free-floating "2". When I change to plain text, it looks like the beginning of a list with "1" on one line and "2" on the next line. It's as if there's a template or signature that inserts itself. I just now downloaded the extension for Blank Canvas Signatures for Gmail, in an effort to fix the problem, but I didn't have it when the problem came up, so Blank Canvas Signatures isn't the issue.
This doesn't happen when I use Explorer nor does it happen when I compose an e-mail on my iPhone.
How did these characters get there and how do I get rid of them?

upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and check

I'm just new to XMLP and am receiving the same error.. My error is occuring when trying to use sub-templates in my master template.
I believe I have the syntax correct:
    To import template file:
    <?import:file:h:///CN_LTR_TEMPLATES.rtf?>
    to call the sub-template:
    <?call-template: signature:?>
Its the call-template to signature thats generating my error message.. My only thought is that its not calling my import properly..
Anyway.. Hope this might help you a bit.. you never mentioned anything about using a sub-templates. Perhaps since you formated your computer, your template may be in a different location or gone all together (that is if you are using sub-templates).
If i figure anything out in the mean time, i'll let you know..

  • Nokia 100 - Message Sending Failed

Newbie mobile user, with Nokia 100 on Orange PAYG in the UK.
Trying to send my first text message, the display shows "Message Sending Failed". Not sure if it's just me still finding my way round and not getting something quite right, or if there's something wrong and I need to change some setting or other?
I've looked around and it seems maybe it might be something to do with a message centre number? I saw an Orange support page here for Nokia
    http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/support/personal/401305
with some instructions, but I'm not seeing what they give in bold so maybe the Nokia 100 has different menu/options/settings, and it isn't included in the list to the right of the help topic. I've also scanned Nokia help topics but again haven't seen anything specific to the Nokia 100 for this error message. There also doesn't seem to be a comprehensive manual for the 100, only a fairly basic user guide -- for other models there's a lot more detail about errors and troubleshooting.
Any help appreciated... and please keep it simple
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Many thanks puigchild, but this...
Messaging > Message settings (or msg. settings) > Text messages > Message centres
is what I don't seem to see.
From the main Menu I have these choices:
Messages, Contacts, Call register, Settings, Clock, Radio, Reminders, Games, Extras, Orange Plus.
I've been two ways from there...
    (1) Messages, where the options are:
Create Message, Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts,  Chat, Picture messages, Distribution lists , Screened messages, Delete messages, Message counter, Message settings, Service com. editor.
The only possibility from these (and in line with what you suggested) seems to be Message settings, and the options there are:
Templates, Smileys, Signature, Sending profile, Font size, Delivery Reports, Reply via same centre, Character support, No. screening.
It doesn't seem clear where to go next from these choices... from what I've seen from looking around, and again from what you've said, there should be an option for Text Messages, but there doesn't seem to be
The only reference to a "centre" anywhere is in the option for "Reply via same centre", but I don't know what that means!
    (2) Settings (from the main menu), and the options there are:
Tone settings, Display settings, Profiles, Time settings, Call settings, Phone settings, Cost settings, Security settings, Go to settings, Restore factory settings.
Again I haven't been sure where to go but have explored a few and haven't found anything yet about Message Centre or specifically about text messages.

  • Adding Pay Button to eMail

I'm trying to create a Pay Now button to add to my Outlook eMail. When I create a Pay Now button, the code it creates is for use on a web page. How can I create a "Pay Now" web link to add to my Outlook email?

  • PDF Signature Template?

I have a PDF that has multiple signature boxes-- though they're not all for signatures.  Date, ID#, Printed name, Signature, etc.  I can get them working with my Topaz Signature Pad (Model #T-L463-HSB-R) without any issue.  The problem, however, is that this document needs to remain as a template of sorts; multiple people will be filling out the forms daily.  When I perform a "Save As" and name the newly-signed PDF something different, there's no issue.  However, when I open up the template version (which should, in theory, be blank, because I didn't save it), the previous signature information is still there.
I can go through the document and manually remove all the signatures, but that's kind of a pain, and only adds extra steps to the process.  So, my question is this: Is there a way to save my document WITHOUT retaining the signature information?  I need it to be a clean slate (so to speak) each time I open it.
Thanks in advance for any help and information.
Oh, I should probably add that I'm using Adobe Acrobat X, the trial version from Adobe's site.

How about making the file read-only? That way Acrobat/OS won't allow the blank template PDF to be overwritten, but you can Save As.

  • Stationary Signature and More Templates

    Three questions:
    1. How can I get my custm signature to show up in stationary templates?
    2. How can I get more stationary templates? I already downloaded the ones form Equinex but would like more.
    3. I know that you can also create them (stationary templates) but I am not that technically savey...so is there a simple program that I can use to create them?

    Hi FD,
I am enjoying the stationary too, and wish that we had gotten more than just 30 of them in Mail. Don't want to spend the $ now on Equinox, but does that software work well, no problems w/ads appearing?? I'd heard they send junk along with it. I'm checking on your question to see if anyone offers solutions. We may be able to get templates from other programs like Word, over to Mail. If I find out, I'll let you know.

  • How to put an e signature into email signature templates?

I am trying to paste a link to my e signature in the Signature template in the email on my MacBook Pro.  It has the Lion server.  PLEASE HELP! I am new to MAC!

    Hey Joosten,
Martino is correct, Animate compositions can't be embedded inside of emails due to email clients blocking JS for security reasons. You also won't be able to embed a SWF or video either. You might be better off creating a page to redirect recipients to  if you need that additional layer of high end content.
