Teradata Source Issue

Hi,
I am extracting data from Teradata using SSIS package and Teradata source from Attunity. I am getting below error. Can you please help me to fix that issue.
TPT Export error encountered during Initiate phase. '' ('0A'X) is not a valid Teradata SQL token.

Hi CMK,
You can create a staging table to store the productcodes used in the WHERE clause in the Teradata source query. Then, you can use Lookup Transformation in SSIS to achieve your goal.
If you use Enterprise or Developer Edition of SSIS 2008 or higher, you can install the Microsoft Connector Version for Teradata by Attunity to obtain the OLE DB provider for Teradata. You can use an OLE DB Source adapter to extract data from the Teradata
database without WHERE clause, then add a Lookup Transformation which lookups records from the staging table, and output the lookup match records to the destination SQL Server table.

Adding Teradata source component programmatically in SSIS

Need help to add a Teradata source component programmatically in SSIS . I am able to add the component but the column info and other metadata is not available for subsequent components. Any documentations or suggestion is needed .

What kind of source is it? ODBC? Column info appears after you set the columns up.

SSAS Tabular from Teradata Source - Impersonation Account

Hi All, I have built a SSAS 2012 Tabular Model cube using Teradata as a Data Source and the ODBC drivers provided by Teradata. Which windows account should I specify in the Impersonation Settings of the connection to Teradata? I just have a Teradata user/password
while the impersonation settings need a WINDOWS user/password. Do i need to enable Teradata LDAP support and get my domain user read access to the teradata database for the data import in SSDT to succeed?

Does not join to any fact source issue in 10g

HI,
I am getting below issue while compiling rpd.
Logical Dimension Table Dim-XX has a source xx_aa that does not join to any fact source.
Let me describe situation here.
In physical layer , i have one xx_v table . there is no join condition physical layer. But in BMM layer we have created two logical tables for single xx_v table and providing join in bmm layer. When am compiling it i'm getting an error.
The one which i have using current rpd, same rpd in production with out any warnings(Logical Dimension Table Dim-XX has a source xx_aa that does not join to any fact source) and they don't have any logical level mapping in content tab. But i am using same rpd in dev instance getting warnings.

Please find the below warning here and we don't have an hierarchy for MTL_SYSTE_ITEMS_B
[39008] Logical dimension table Mtl System Items B has a source MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B that does not join to any fact source.
I am getting this in Dev instance only but not in Production. But one rpd can be used in dev and production instances.

Data Source Issue - Plz help

We are using a cluster environment for our E2E testing. We hav OSB Server and SOA Server. But the data source named mds-owsm, soaLocalXt datasource keeps on suspending on and off showing unpredictable behaviour. Because of this our server gets shut down automatically which was badly affecting our testing. Kindly help us resolving this issue.
When we track our osb managed server log, we see the following error:

Because of this our server gets shut down automatically No. Just because connection pool got suspended, server should not go down. There is any other issue which you did not notice. For Data Source to function properly, make sure that intial and maximum connections limit has been set appropriately (preferably both should be equal) and make sure that database is up and running always and has that many connections open. Check with the DBA for DB connection limit settings.
Raise a SR with support if you are not able to figure out the exact issue.

Generic Data Source issue in CRM.

Generic Data Source with Table gave an issue "invalid Extracture structure template XXXXX of Data source XXXXX"
Generic Data source with Function Module gave an issue "Units field VOLUM_U for field VOLUME of DataSource ZTEST_XYZ is hidden"
Generic Data Source with View configured successfully but the data is not coming in Extractor Checker.
Three tables has taken in to consideration. I think there might be some issue with Join condition.
Can any one through light on this incident. Your help will be appreciated.

CO_PA DATA SOURCE ISSUE

Hi,
I am trying to display a COPA data source, i have given proper operating concern name and tried with costing based and account based it is throwing below error message:
Table entry missing for data source.
when i look into the details it is showing below information.
an attempt was made to extract data using this data source.
this is not possible due to missing of control entries in the system tables.
System Response:
The process was terminated.
Procedure:
if the data source was transported into this system, check the import logs for errors.
I tried to debug it from KEB2, here also i am getting same error message.

Hello,
The administration of the delta method for CO-PA DataSources occurs in part in the OLTP system. In particular, the time up until which the data has already been extracted is stored in the control tables of the DataSource. Since the control tables for the delta method for the extractor are managed in the OLTP system, certain restrictions apply.
There can only ever be one valid initial package for a DataSource. If, for the same DataSource, a separate initialization is scheduled for different selections, for example, and data is posted to the operating concern between the individual initializations, data inconsistencies could occur between SAP BW and OLTP. The reason for this is that, with each initialization, the time stamp of the DataSource in the OLTP system is set to the current value. Consequently, records from a previous selection are no longer selected with the next delta upload if they were posted with a different selection prior to the last initial run.

XML Data Source Issue

I'm sure the issue is my lack of understanding on how this should work. I've created a report using an XML data source. The fields on my report come from the XML file schema, and all fields having to do with quantities selected from the schema show as numeric fields in the report designer. However, when I try to use the SUM function on these fields I only get a count, and not a sum.
When I view the XML file using XML Notepad 2007, the viewer shows these fields as text fields. So as near as I can tell, I'm reading text data into a field defined as numeric.
I can directly connect to the table in SQL Server 2005 and the sum functions work fine, however, the sum function will not sum when using the XML table.
Apparently I'm missing something here??

Multiple source issue

I am new to OBIEE and I have came accross an issue. I appologize if this information is in the forum somewhere but I have searched and cannot find it.
My situation is that I would like to have one logical table that contains multiple data sources which have all the same columns. I already have session variables setup to differentiate the user's security through a row-wise variable for a specific column and a session variable for another column which determines the user's association to the data source in which they belong to. This security works well when the data sources are seperated in the Business Model and Mapping portion but the issue that arises is that the user's cannot share reports when the data sources are seperated in the BM&M.
I have dragged and dropped a table from the Physical model to the BM&M, I then dragged the second data source (with same meta data structure) over to the "Sources" folder in the first data source table in the BM&M. On the Content tab or each data source table I have defined the WHERE clause as such, where VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION."SCHOOL") session variable is my row-wise column filter and the VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION."GROUP") filter is my data source determinative:

I have experimented with the Fragmentation content on the "Content" tab of the seperate logical tables, checking the "This source should be combined with other sources at this level", which gives me an error in BI Answers that a column does not exist which really does.

You do need to check the "This source should be combined with other sources at this level" checkbox, otherwise it will always take the first logical table source. So you need to get rid of the error message. Are you sure you mapped all the columns on each logical table source?

Select Recording Source issue on Audigy 2

I unistalled and installed the program and can't get it to work. I have the Audigy 2 ZS plat. with the software and all. Problem I have when I open up the Organizer MediaSource Player everything works but the "select recording source" button or selection doesn't work. It's kind of blanked out as if I don't have that option at all. But when I go to the mixer I can here the line inputs but I can't record from it b/c I can't select it. If anyone has this issues let me know or how to solve it. I have windows XP and also my Audio Stream recorder doesn't work either.

Ok I got it to work. This is the reply I got from Creative but I didn't remove the program from the add/remove option on the PC b/c that didn't work at first. I inserted the installation CD and remove it from that wizard. Rebooted and the PC found new hardware. I then installed the driver and software from the CD and now it works.
For Mediasource. It appears something was corrupted in Mediasource or there is a conflict within the system.Please uninstall all software and drivers for the soundcard, from add/remove programs. Once this is done, shut down the system and changePCI slots for the soundcard, then turn the system back on, cancel the found new hardware wizard, disable all background applications (especially virus scanner, firewall, and any other background applications running in the bottom right hand corner of the system), andthen perform a full reinstallation of the drivers and software from the soundcard installation cd.

2LIS_04_P_COMP Data Source Issue

I am having a issue while loading the data into the DSO using the 2LIS_04_P_COMP Datasource.
in this Data source we do have a field BDMNG( for Required Qty).
There is a Start Routine in the Update rules( we have maintained the 3.x Data Source)
The data is coming correctly when the modify data package
statement is executed the data in the data package internal take is same as below,
I had verified the same in the debugging..
I also verifeied the data in the PSA it is having
same data which is mention below
But is updating in the DSO differently any clues ???
Suppose data in the change is as below in general
Production order    Material       BDMNG       usage

But in my DSO the Change log as well as the active table hold the data as below

SRM Sourcing issue

Dear Gurus,
SRM 5.5, ECC 6.0, Classic scenario.
I have a requirement that for a certain purchase group selected in Shopping cart via Free Form Text, the shopping cart should not go to Sourcing(Preferred Vendor is entered) but instead create a PO in ECC with Acct Asign category 'B' (Limit item).
We had made following the changes in DOC_CHANGE_BADI to make preferred Vendor to Fixed Vendor by changing Partner_Fct from '39' to '19'.
And in the PO_CREATE_NEW Badi Account assignment category is set to 'B', Expected value and Target Value are set for PO creation.
Our Issue is- PO is created but also sending the shopping cart to Sourcing. I am trying to find how Source_rel_ind is being set after PO is created and hence its sent to sourcing.
Any advise is appreciated.

Check your customizing in SPRO:
SAP Implementation Guide -> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Sourcing -> Define Sourcing for Product Categories.
If you cannot manage sourcing with this solution, then use method DETERMINE_SOURCING from BAdI BBP_SRC_DETERMINE to overwrite default sourcing customizing according to your need.

0CLM_INVOICE data source issue

HI Experts,
I have been testing data source 0CLM_INVOICE and noticed discrepancies when extracting data using RSA3. I have used the selection for Company Code, Fiscal Year and Customer and when i display the list of extracted data, records for other customers (aside from my selection) are showing. It looks like my selections are not working. Also, in the SAP documentation for this data source,

the POSTING_DATE and INV_DATE are said to be derived from BSEG-BUDAT and BSEG-BLDAT, respectively. The trouble is that I can't find these fields in the BSEG table.
Can anyone enlighten me on this? Or if you have encountered similar issues on this data source, please let me know how it was resolved.
