Testing UGR in Dynamic Actions

Hi SAP Gurus!
I need to test the UGR parameter of the user that is performing a dynamic action, f.e. I want to perform the dynamic INS of an IT only if UGR <> '90'.
Can I do this without using features?
Thank you very much, regards.
Stefano

Thank you, I was just looking before this idea in fact...
The problem is that I used RP50D-FLAG field yet.
Maybe I can use RP50D-DATE2, using some kind of date I'm sure will be not used... It brings some risks, but...
Any other idea?

  • Testing Dynamic Actions

    Hello,
         I had created a dynamic action for a custom infotype 90X9 in which I am comparing a field(FIELD1) if it is initial i am maintaining a record in 90Y9 infotype.
        Through PA30 I created a NULL entry for the FIELD1 for a employee (EMP1) for infotype 90X9 and then I checked 90Y9 hoping that maintained value in dynamic action will fill the infotype 90YP, But this had not happend.
         Is this the correct way to TEST it? Please suggest a TEST method if it is wrong method to test this dynamic action scenario.

    Hello
    You know what is the most interesting thing about your test case? You are trying to copy the NULL value between infotypes. Well, is the test case not working only for NULL values or all values?
    Can you also mention following about your dynamic action?
    Infotype:

    Field Name:
    Function Character:
    Sequence Number:

  • Problem setting a hidden item value when button clicked with dynamic action or pl/sql process

    Apex 4.1
    Oracle 11g
    I have a page that consists of a main region and several sub regions.  I have a pl/sql process in After Header SET_DISPLAY(:P400_DISPLAY :='MAIN';)
    Three subregions have a contional display where P400_DISPLAY = STORE.  This works in hiding the sub regions.
    Now I want to change the P400_DISPLAY value to STORE to show the subregions when I hit a button.
    I tried creating a dynamic action for on click of the add button but get the following error:
    The selected button uses a 'Button Template' that does not contain the #BUTTON_ID# substitution string
    I went to the templates and found:

    I then tried creating a page process, pl/sql, :P400_DISPLAY :='STORE'; when the appropriate button is pressed.  The button action is submit page. However, it does not change the P400_DISPLAY value and the subregions stay hidden.
    Suggestions please on how to fix the template or change the P400_DISPLAY value?

    The root issue is that, although you change the value of your page item, it isn't visible to other areas of the page until it is in the session. So, any other action based on the value of your page item; the visibility of a control, a report based on the item's value, etc. will all be unaffected by changing the value of the page item until it has been changed in the session. Even after this the items are stored in the session, you must thereafter do something to cause the value to be reevaluated. To see the effect of this, observe that your page loads and evaluates the value of your page item, it sees that is "MAIN" and hides the regions. However, it doesn't reevaluate them after this.
    So; your choices to get this value set in the session are to either Submit the page, or use JavaScript to set the value in the session. If you use the latter of these, you'll have to do some further work to cause the visibility tests to be re-run, So, let's stick with with the submit method.
    What you've done above sounds correct for this but, there are a lot of decisions you could have made that might have caused things not to happen in the correct sequence.
    Firstly, let's confirm that what I describe above is your problem. From the development environment, load the page, click the button to change the value and submit. Now, click the link labelled Session. Is it still set to MAIN? If so; this is your issue.
    Let's start with the your After Header computation. Did you set it to *only* run if the current value of your page item is NULL??? If not, that's your problem.
    Load Page -> Item set to 'Main' by Computation -> Click Button -> Item set to STORE -> Submit -> Load Page -> Item set to 'Main' by Computation
    See the problem?
    Assuming this isn't the issue, you created a Branch to the same page, right? What is your process point for the Branch? Is it *After* Validation, Computation etc? Because if not, you aren't changing the value before the submit happens.
    I bet it is the first issue but, take a look at these.
    Cheers,
    -Joe

  • Dynamic Action, validation check, on an Item, could not use Change event

    I am learning how to use Dynamic Actions in a 3.2.x app that was upgraded to 4.0.x. I wanted to share what I learned adding client side validation with these actions. Perhaps an Apex guru could suggest an easier method to use this feature.
    I have an existing function where a user selects multiple rows in a report page, and then assigns a single status and enters justification text for the selected rows in another page, then saves changes (via submit).
    One item, justification, is required. I replaced my JavaScript validation of an empty value, e.g., P10_JUSTIFICATION.value, with a dynamic action. The Change event was a candidate for this item, with the "is not null" Condition. However, it is possible to initiate this screen to review the status, overlook the justification text and immediately select a button to save changes. No Change event has fired. The Before Page Submit event was applicable here. This Event selection in the wizard does not provide the Item for definition and then the Condition wasn't the right context though available for selection. I selected JavaScript expression for the Condition, actually entered my original JS test expression, and created one True Action. The True action displays an Alert to tell the user that required text is missing.
    Test of this DA was not completely successful. The alert appeared but the page went on to submit anyway. I found I had to add another True Action, Cancel Event, to stop the submit. The DA was then successful.
    The Apex site examples, [http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/db/apex/r40/apexdynactions/apexdynactions_ll.htm] , do a great job showing use of Change and Set Value events for Items but a user may not always navigate through items. These features were promoted for developers with no to little knowledge of JavaScript to use Apex for application development. This DA required using/understanding JS anyways.
    My next step is to implement actions on a tabular form that that has required values. It is disconcerting that I have read in the forum that the column value references such as f0x and its row number are required to get it all working (as a DOM or JQuery selector). I have already found that tabular form columns can be re-ordered from v3.2.1 to 4.0.x. I was hoping I could declare dynamic actions or simpler Javascript methods that would not rely on f0x array references.
    Thanks,
    Kelly

    It is disconcerting that I have read in the forum that the column value references such as f0x and its row number are required to get it all working (as a DOM or JQuery selector).Not necessarily. One possibility is to use descendent jQuery selectors to attach the dynamic action event handler by column heading:
    td[headers="HIREDATE"] input

  • Dynamic Action based on Interactive Report Select List Value

    I'd like to perform a Dynamic Action when a user selects one of 3 options from a Select List within an Interactive Report:
    select APEX_ITEM.SELECT_LIST(
    p_idx => 3,
    --p_value         =>   deptno,
    p_list_values => 'Copy;Copy,Delete;Delete,Export to PDF;Export to PDF',
    --p_attributes    =>   'style="color:red;"',
    p_show_null => 'YES',
    p_null_value => NULL,
    p_null_text => '--Select--',
    --p_item_id       =>   'f03_#ROWNUM#',
    p_item_id => 'P6_IR_SELECT_LIST',
    p_item_label => 'Label for f03_#ROWNUM#',
    p_show_extra => 'YES') "Actions"
    from dual;
    When building the Dynamic Action, I chose the following values from the Advanced wizard
    Event: Select
    Selection Type: DOM Object
    DOM Object: P6_IR_SELECT_LIST
    Condition: Equal to
    Value: "Delete"
    True Action: Execute Javascript Code: Alert('Here');
    Doesn't seem to be firing...can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance,
    John

    Hi,
    I am not sure if the "equal to" condition applies to a DOM object... after all, a DOM object can be anything (any HTML element) not only a field.
    Try using a javascript expression instead, like this:
    $v('P6_IR_SELECT_LIST')=='Delete'UPDATE: Sorry, I just tested and "equal to" condition works for DOM objects... should have tested before posting!

  • Smartform of a particular employee with dynamic actions

    Hi All,
    I am making an HR smartform - pulling data from infotypes  - so I am using logical database pnp. Now Everytime I enter the personal number in the PNP screen, it gives me form with correct data of respective employee.
    I want to club this smart form's driver program to a dynamic action, so the personal number would ne chosen dynamically. For that I believe we have to choose HR report category from program attributes of driver program as '0000003'.
    If I  do that and hardcode the employee number it do not takes it but it starts printing smartforms of all the employees - even if I keep the report category as 0000001, it asks for a personal number at runtime,n do not takes hardcoded value - The getpernr statment is not fetching up the data for that particular employee but it pulls data for all employees.
    Please suggest how could I use the hard coded value of pernr to get the resp3ective data in the smartform. Do I have to create another report category - a new one? if so how?
    If u have any sample code? Please share it.
    Thanks
    Ribhu

    Hi Suresh, I was just testing it by hardcoding, wheather it takes the pernr from places other than input box of the report category. Right.

  • Help using a dynamic action to update tabular form items (specifically radio button) based on collection

    Hi Everyone, I have posted this question in the past and made huge progress with Denes Kubicek's help:  https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=31517:294:115851992029365::::: based on my earlier question posted: https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2537494
    I am struggling with one item in my tabular form.  It is a radio button.  The choices all appear properly, but the value is not saved in the collection (and hence, not saved in the table).  All other items in the tabular form save properly.
    here is what I have for the query.   It is item c024 (which maps to ;'f03'), which is defined as a radio LOV based on an existing LOV.
    Currently I have:
    2 page items:
    P110_ID
    P110_VALUE
    Dynamic action called CHANGE COLUMN:
    event: CHANGE
    selection type: jQUERY Selector
    jQuery:
    jQuery Select = input[name='f03'],select[name'f08'],select[name='f09'],input[name='f10'],input[name='f11'],input[name='f12'],select[name='f40'],input[name='f21'],input[name='f22'],input[name='f23'],input[name='f50']
    event scope: Dynamic
    true action#1: set value P110_ID javascript expression this.triggeringElement.id
    true action#2: set value P110_VALUE javascript expression this.triggeringElement.value
    true action#3: execute pl/sql code

      v_member number;
      v_seq number;
    begin
      v_member := TO_NUMBER (SUBSTR (:p110_id, 2, 2));
      select ltrim(substr(:p110_ID,5,4),'0') into v_seq from dual;
      safis_collections.update_column(v_seq,
                                    v_member,
                                    :p110_value);
    true ation#4 refresh region :LANDINGS_COLLECTION
    the tabular form is based on the query:

    'N','N/A') Sale_Price
    from apex_collections
    where collection_name = 'SPECIES_COLLECTION' order by seq_id
    I have noticed the following:
    when I change column C011 (price) the following values are set in the dynamic action:
    P110_ID = f11_1
    P110_VALUE = whatever I change the price to.
    when I change the column C024 (hms_flag), the following values are set:
    P110_ID = f03_0001
    P110_VALUE = whatever I change hms_flag to.
    the region is refreshed in my dynamic action, and the change for hms_flag does not hold.  I have tested the SQL query that generates the value for v_SEQ in the dynamic action.   In both a change to price and HMS_FLAG it appears valid
    select ltrim(substr(:p110_ID,5,4),'0') into v_seq from dual;
    if f11_1, v_seq:= 1
    if f03_0001, v_seq := 1
    thank you!

    solved.  sort of.
    field c024 references f03.
    the Dynamic ACtion, step 4 calculates v_member by taking a substring of P110_ID...and in all other fields, the column and the field (fxx) are the same value....except for c024.
    I am not certain exactly how to resolve, but see the problem.

  • How can a classic report be filtered using one select item and dynamic action?

    APEX 4.2.1
    DB 11g
    I have a page with 4 reports on it.  The top report is an interactive report and the following 3 are classic reports.  The users would like to be able to use a select list to filter the 3rd report by PO line number without refreshing the entire page.
    After verifying that the report is set to allow partial refreshes, I took the following steps
    1.  Created a PO Line select item (p_po_line_select) in the same report region
    2.  Added p_po_line_select to the report query
    3.  Created a dynamic action on p_po_line_select with 2 true actions
         1.  Set value (p_po_line_select)
         2.  Refresh report region.
    The Set Value dynamic step was not working; I would get an out of memory error at line 2, memory stack error, or the value did not get saved to session state depending on the settings I selected.  I was able to get it working with the following set:
    1.  Action = Set Value
    2.  Set type = PL/SQL Expression
    3.  PL/SQL Expression = :p_field_does_not_exist
    4.   Page items to submit = blank
    5.  Selection Type = Item(s)
    6.  Item(s) = p_field_does_not_exist
    p_field_does_not_exist does not exist as a page or application item which leads me to believe that this is a bug and I am just lucky that it worked.  I would rather know how to do this properly.  Can someone please provide a link to a working example of how this should be done or state which settings are wrong?
    I was able to reproduce the issue in the following app
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=4500:1000
    workspace = occam

  • Dynamic action on show region

    Hi,
    Application Express 4.1.0.00.32
    I have a report region on a page that is conditionaly displayed based on the value of a page item Pn_ITEM = 'HIDE'.
    I have dynamic actions that run on the page that populate a collection and refresh the report without the need to submit the page. However I need to somehow show the report when the collection has at least one member present.
    I have tried the following:
    1st true action executes pl/sql that adds a record / member to a collection, then a 2nd action sets the value to a page item Pn_ITEM = 'SHOW' and a 3rd true action that should show the region based on the set value from true action 2.
    My collection has a member added. The value 'SHOW' is applied to my page item Pn_ITEM by the dynamic action however the report region that I now want displayed is not showing. Obviously if the page is submitted the report will now be shown however I cannot submit the page at this point thats why I need to do this dynamicaly or through javascript and on demand processes.
    Any ideas how to get my report region to display once the collection has at least one member without submitting the page?
    Thanks in advance.

    Remove the condition for display from the region. You don't want to have this here since it will completely stop the region from rendering if the condition is not fullfilled at rendering time. You want it rendered, just not displayed.
    Add css to the region (inline, class):
    style="display: none;"Add a true action which will do a refresh on your region (Component - Refresh, select your report region as an affected element).
    Now either:
    Add a true action of type execute javascript. Since you can't put conditions on true actions, we'll test the condition in javascript.
    Pick one:
    if($v("Pn_ITEM")=='SHOW'){
    //if you want to target the region to be shown by an ID (static id?)
    $("#region_id").show();
    if($v("Pn_ITEM")=='SHOW'){
    //if the triggering element would be the region to be shown
    $(this.triggeringElement).show();
    if($v("Pn_ITEM")=='SHOW'){
    //if you'd want multiple affected elements to be shown at once drop the [0]
    $(this.affectedElements[0]).show();
    };Create a new dynamic action which has the same triggering conditions as your other dynamic action.
    Specify a when condition:
    $v("Pn_ITEM")=='SHOW'Create one true action of the type 'Show' to show the region.
    End result should be your dynamic action creating an element in the collection, a refresh of the report based on the element (but still not shown), and finally a show of the region.
    Don't forget that the actions will also need fire on page load (so don't forget to check the checkbox on the true actions), otherwise the region will not be shown initially.
    I'd say that the item is probably not necessary anymore, but that depends on any other logic you might have on your page and possibly interacts with it.

  • Dynamic Action on DOM object not working

    Thru a dynamic action I am executing PL/SQL Code that creates additional item using APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX (see code on bottom). Thru another Dynamic action, I am trying to execute additional Java. I have it set to fire like this:
    Event: Click
    Type: DOM Object
    DOM Object: document.forms[0].f11 (this matches the APEX_ITEM.checkbox fxx value)
    Just trying a simple alert("hi"). doesn't work. Am I missing something?
    DECLARE
    l_hold_table_name varchar2(1000) := :P1223_HOLD_TABLE_NAME;
    l_hold_html varchar2(32000) := '';
    l_hold_session_state varchar2(32000) := '';
    CURSOR get_columns IS
    select b.column_heading, b.column_name
    from dual
    BEGIN
    l_hold_html := '<DIV><TABLE border="2"><THEAD><TR><TH>' || l_hold_table_name ||
    '</TH></TR></THEAD>';
    FOR x in get_columns LOOP
    l_hold_html := l_hold_html || '<TR><TD>' || APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX(20,x.column_name,null) || x.column_heading || '</TD></TR>';
    END LOOP;
    l_hold_html := l_hold_html || '</TABLE><DIV>';
    :P1223_HOLD_INNERHTML := l_hold_html;
    END;

    Hi,
    first your code in example does not compile.
    CURSOR get_columns IS
    select b.column_heading, b.column_name
    from dual
    There is a ; missing and even with that this query is not OK.
    If you have a problem with DOM selector, then try jquery selector:
    Event:Click
    Selection Type: jQuery Selector
    jQuery Selector: input:checkbox[name*='f11']
    For testing I created a test page with one dynamic PLSQL region and following source:
    DECLARE
      l_hold_table_name varchar2(1000) := 'MYTABLE';
      l_hold_html varchar2(32000) := '';
      l_hold_session_state varchar2(32000) := '';
      CURSOR get_columns IS
      select
        'My Checkbox' column_heading, 'a' column_name
      from dual ;
    BEGIN
      l_hold_html := '<TABLE border="2"><THEAD><TR><TH>'
                              || l_hold_table_name
                              || '</TH></TR></THEAD>';
      FOR x in get_columns LOOP
        l_hold_html := l_hold_html ||
                                '<TR><TD>' ||
                                APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX(20,x.column_name,null) ||
                                x.column_heading ||
                                '</TD></TR>';
      END LOOP;
      l_hold_html := l_hold_html || '</TABLE>';
      htp.p( l_hold_html );
    END;And Dynamic Action with properties as described above (only that in my case name of the checkbox is f20)
    You can see working example here : http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=60428:4

  • Dynamic Action On Date Picker

    Hi,
    I need help with understanding dynamic actions. I have two date pickers, I want the value of the first date picker to be the minimum date of the second date picker. To achieve this I have a hidden item whose value I want to reflect the selected date in the required format. In the dynamic action on the date picker I have no condition, and the true action is set to execute the following pl/sql code
    :P200220000_Y_MIN_DT := TO_CHAR(TO_DATE(:P200220000_Y_STR, 'DD-MON-YYYY'), 'YYYYMMDDHH24MI');. The items to submit field contains both the first date picker and the hidden item.
    The "P200220000_Y_MIN_DT" is now passed into the minimum date field of the second date picker. The problem is when the date is changed the hidden item does not get the value until the page is refreshed.
    Am I doing something wrong or just have not mastered the use of dynamic action or are my colleagues right use AJX call backs not dynamic actions.
    Thanks
    Aderemi

    Hi Aderemi,
    first of all as already explained, the min/max values are already used on the server side when the necessary code for the date picker is rendered. When you changed the referenced values in the browser, these values will not change the behavior of the client side date picker widget. But when you submit the page, the new min/max values will be used by the date picker validation check on the server.
    To over the client side date picker display issue, you could directly call the date picker JavaScript code and pass in the new min/max values. Have a look at http://jqueryui.com/demos/datepicker/
    So for example you could have a dynamic action of type "Execute JavaScript code" which executes the following Javascript code.
    apex.jQuery('#P200220000_MY_DATE_PICKER').datepicker("option", "minDate", "-1m");I think that should work. Note: I haven't tested if that really works and it's also some kind of unsupported, because it uses the underlaying jQueryUI APIs the APEX date picker is using. This could change in the future and would invalidate your code.

    Patrick

  • Dynamic action on radio group in tabular form

    Hi,
    I'm very new to APEX and I've tried searching the web, but I can't seem to find a good answer for my problem. I have a page in APEX with a tabular form with 6 columns. The last column is supposed to show/hide a button for each row based on the value of a radio group (static LOV) with 2 options in column 5. I want to do this with a dynamic action on the radio group, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this. Since the radio group is in a tabular form it's not an item and so I can't just select it in the dynamic action wizard. I figure I have to use a JQuery selector here, but my knowledge of this is very limited.
    I've created the button in the select statement for the tabular form like this:
    select
    "ROWID",
    "DATA_COLLECTION_ID",
    "ID",
    "VARIABLE_NO",
    "VARIABLE_NAME",
    "DATA_TYPE",
    '<a href="javascript:epf.dialog.open(''f?p=&APP_ID.:18:&SESSION.::::P18_ROWID,P18_ID:'||ROWID||','||ID||''',800,700);" id="Category" class="epf-button"><span class="epf-tooltip" data-epf-tooltip="Definer kategorier for denne variabelen"></span>Definer Kategori</a>' category
    from "MATH_USER"."STA_VARIABLES"
    where "DATA_COLLECTION_ID" = :P17_IDAny help would be greatly appreciated.

    patrikfridberg wrote:
    $('input[id="category"]')[currIndex].hide();;where does this category come from? and you are referencing id attribute which can only handle one row.
    You must make the jquery selector based on column name (inspect your column using firebug/chrome and see the name attribute of the column form element, it will in format f0x).
    Look at my original code below and i am controlling a column with name f01
    >
    It still doesn't work for me. From what I understood from the "Incorporating JavaScript into an application" page I should put the code in the JavaScript section. I tried that too, but nothing changed. So now I'm thinking there is something wrong with the code itself?
    YES
    this is my original code
    function test(pThis) {
    //get the curren row index on change
    var currIndex = $('select[name="'+pThis.name+'"]').index(pThis);
    if (pThis.value=='20') {
      $('input[name="f01"]')[currIndex].style.display = 'block';
    else {
      $('input[name="f01"]')[currIndex].style.display = 'none';
    }

  • IT0009: payment method "cheque" and dynamic actions

    Hello,
    I need your help on this issue.
    I have looking for answers on the different posts but i didn't found any similar problems.
    For a customer, i have to settle, in case of departure (leaving) action , the creation in background of an infotype 0009 from infotype 0000 with payment method 'C' - Cheque and the BEGDA equal to the first day of the month. It is a payroll need.
    The dynamics action is easy to do but i have an error which makes appears the infotype. Actually, the information City is mandatory in SAP standard (?) in case of payment 'C' - Cheque.
    I did the test and when i create infotype 0009, the name of the person, from infotype 0002 i guess, is put in the field but not the adress, city and postal code. If i select payment cheque, an errror alerts me that the city is mandatory for this payment method. If i put something, no problem, but i would like to automate it and retrieve data from IT0006. That is strange is when i delete the payee information (last and first name field) and validate the screen, no more error, even if i select payment cheque. And if i save and go back on the record, data from IT0006 (city, postal code and payee) have been automatically put in the infotype.
    I would like to reproduce the same thing by the dynamic action but i can't access these fields because they are not part of the P0009 table but the Q0009 structure and i don't access it through dynamic action
    Do you have some experiences to share on this topic ?
    Thanks in advance.

    hi
    To replace a check or to create a check instead of a bank transfer, the system must be able to access the
    correct payment method. The standard system contains predefined payment methods. However, you can
    also specify your own values.
    The standard system contains the following methods of payment:
    - C (Check)
    - D (Transfer)
    - M (Check with manual assignment of check number)

    Hi
    I am using Apex 4.2. On a click of button a Dynamic Action is written, which calls a DB Package. The DB package has exception handlers and also the package has two output parameters

    But when i run the page and I click I get an Internal exception error
    Output from Debug -- I am not sure what the Cell in Red colour means, because the package is returning a correct message (before the red line).Can anyone help please??

    Edit: Well, Patrick beat me to the punch because I was taking my jolly time writing this down
    Well, if you look below the part you put in red, you can see that a callout is made: ...Execute Error Handling Callout defined on Page or Application Level
    With directly below that:
    ......Values changed by callout:
    4
    .........message: An unexpected internal application error has occurred. Please get in contact with your system administrator and provide reference# for further investigation.
    Since the plsql call is on the serverside, this error is trapped within the error handling function aswell. Your error has simply been obscured by it, and probably because it looks at the error backtrace and determines the error is internal.
    Looking at the sample error handling code, this is probably where it goes "wrong":
    -- If it's an internal error raised by APEX, like an invalid statement or
      -- code which cannot be executed, the error text might contain security sensitive
      -- information. To avoid this security problem rewrite the error to
      -- a generic error message and log the original error message for further
      -- investigation by the help desk.
      if p_error.is_internal_error then
    I recreated the situation here, and put some debug in the error handling function just so I could see what sort of error is being processed:
        apex_debug.message('error code: '||p_error.apex_error_code);
        apex_debug.message('sql code: '||p_error.ora_sqlcode);
        apex_debug.message('sql errm: '||p_error.ora_sqlerrm);
        apex_debug.message('error_backtrace: '||p_error.error_backtrace);

    As you can see, the ajax error is an internal error, and that is why it is handled as such in the error handler. With this info you should be able to adjust your handling function. Test for the error code (APEX.AJAX_SERVER_ERROR) and then throw the error message or test for the -20000 range of custom errors for example.
        if p_error.is_internal_error then
            -- Access Denied errors raised by application or page authorization should
            -- still show up with the original error message
            -- do not parse ajax server errors here !
            if    p_error.apex_error_code <> 'APEX.AUTHORIZATION.ACCESS_DENIED'
              and p_error.apex_error_code not like 'APEX.SESSION_STATE.%'
              and p_error.apex_error_code != 'APEX.AJAX_SERVER_ERROR'
            then
    It probably does need some more work but you should get the gist of it.
