Texts in Select Options

Hi Experts,
I have a 'SELECT OPTION'. I am using the following code to display the HELP in select option.
lt_range_table1 = wd_this->m_handler1->create_range_table( i_typename = 'PRIOK' ).
add a new field to the selection
wd_this->m_handler1->add_selection_field(
             i_id          = 'PRIOK'
             it_result     = lt_range_table1
             i_read_only   = read_only
            I_AS_DROPDOWN = 'X'
             IT_VALUE_SET = IT_VALUE_SET
1) It displays the help but the help window name is 'P'. I would like to set it to 'PRIORITY HELP'. how can i do this.
2) How can i cahnge the columns header in the help in select option?

Hi Vishal
Using it_value_set you can not set the window title and the column headers of the value help popup.
Create a Structure ZPP_ROUT_PROD
Add a Field to the Structure MS_FLAG of type some Data Element which has its domain and the Domain Range is specified
also specify the labels for the Data element created
Use the parameters value help structure and value help structure field
lr_HELPER->add_selection_field(
                i_id = 'CHAR1'
                IT_RESULT = LR_TABLE
                I_VALUE_HELP_STRUCTURE = 'ZPP_ROUT_PROD'
                I_VALUE_HELP_STRUCTURE_FIELD = 'MS_FLAG'
now you can see the window title and the column headers as specified int he Data Element

Hi,
In sq02 in the DATA codebox, I have added a "select-option for field". However, the title/leading text for the field in the selection screen is useless. How can I program my own text for this selection ?
PS I have tried selection-screen begin of block
select-option ....

fname = 'individual text.
It does not work and it is running on 4.6C FYI.
Any help is appreciated.

goto the properties and u can give ur own name as such in text elements...
in SQ02, menu goto>text elements>selection texts.

Can I change the select option text for pnp ldb ?

hi Akll,
I am using a pnp logical database in my report and I have created my own hr category because i wanted to use field ename from the ldb in the selection screen. Now the problem with ename is I cant do a case sensitive search.
So I have replaced it with sname, so now my screen has sname instead of ename, however I want to change the selection text for select option ( at present it is 'EE name can be sorted' )

I guess the text cannot be changed.. anyways you can add the field as an additional field by normal coding in your report

How can i create a dynamic structure based on my input from a select-option

Hello,
This is to develop a custom report in FI for G/L Balance based on company code.
I have an input select-option for Company code.
Based on the range of company code my output layout should be modified.
I am not very much sure to create a dynamic internal based on the input from a select-option.
Can any one please let me know how can i do this.

here u have to design a subscreen area SUB_1010 in the screen painter, there is a option given there for that.
and also in the flow logic of screen 0100 you have to call the subscreen SUB_1010 both in PBO and PAI like :

in the advance search page I want to show the <Select Option> text in a dropdown list, which is one of search criteria. for that I have done the following steps :- in the pageDef of that search page select the bindings -->inser inside bindings-->list ---> then select the Create dynamic Radio button ---> then select the "No Selection" Item is "Include labeled Item" and in the write side text write "Select Option" . but after run no text is shown in the dropdown list.it's just shown blank first.

Greying out some selection options on a selection screen

In the above code, I want that if the p_numdys is entered then the radiobuttons r1, r2, n r3 to be greyed out how can I achieve that?

Length of select-options in selection screen.

Hi,
I was able to give the lemgth of select-options only upto 8 characters.
Select-options :S_Mtrial for mara-matnr.
But my requirement is I want total name which is more than 8 characters.
Select-options:Material_numberl for mara-matnr.
Can any one help how to do.

The Statement...
Select-options :S_Mtrial for mara-matnr
The selection screen length depends on the type that you are assigning to it. Since the length of type
mara-matnr is less, the selection option S_Mtrial will be displayed with short length in the selection screen.
The alternate to do this is...
selection-screen begin of line.
selection-screen comment 2(10) text-001.
select-options : <ur select option name>
selection-screen end of line.
Text element,text-001 contains the select option text to be displayed in the screen

In stead of subscreen, try to do with screen itself.
Create screen like this.

selection-screen end of block b1.
selection-screen end of screen 300.
Call this screen : in PAI of ur another screen.

Select-Options on a Tabstrip Subscreen on a REAL Dynpro

i ve the following problem:
I have a Report with a normal selection-screen and a call screen 100 after that.
That Dynpro 100 itself is a Tabstrip-Control. And on one of the Tabs i need to place some Select-options fields ( and a pushbutton + an alv, which shows the result of the selection, but thats not a problem).
The Problem i think is, that a Tab itself is a subscreen. not a "real" dynpro. i tried to place a subscreen control on that tab ( subscreen in a subscreen dynpro ) and define a selection screen as subscreen. but it s not being displayed.
selection-screen begin of screen 0888 as subscreen.
selection-screen begin of block s01 with frame title text-s01.
select-options: s_mrbe for eedmsettlunit-settlunit.
selection-screen end of block s01.

It works for me:
1. Copy DEMO_DYNPRO_TABSTRIP_LOCAL report.
2. Add your own subscreen selection-screen:

.. SELECT-OPTIONS: p_sel FOR ok_code.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 9001.
3. Call your subscreen 9001 on screen 100

Problem in Passing the select-options data in smartforms

I have developed new layout for Delivery Chellan using smartforms.
using parameters i am getting document no, corresponding all details getting print.
but the client wants to use multiple document no.
in function module also i am passing only one import parameter (i.e. doc.no).
my requirement is how to pass multiple data in smartfroms.

I have a field (PO no) using SELECT OPTIONS on my selection screen.I need F4 help for this field.How shud i declare it?

Selection option error message

Dear Experts,
I need your help to code an error message:
This is an ABAP report program:
User can enter either Group Key (LFA1-KONZS) or Vendor Number (LFA1-LIFNR), if enter both, send an messagee : 'Please enter either Group Key or Vendor Number, not both'
The error message show at the status line of the button of the input selection option screen.
How do I do that?

Search help icon for select option

hello all...
can some one let me know , how to attach F4 help icon to select option..??
in select option im referrin to a data element, this data element has a domain which has value range.
if i press F4 on the select option, im gettin the values in the search help but the icon is not appearing..
any suggestions...

If you have Search help you can assign here or else you need to create search help through SE11.
