The Problem : Method not found (FCPublish).
Hi All.
When I push "Start" on FME2, The Following log is out on FMS2
LiveLog.
Sending error message: Method not found (releaseStream).
Sending error message: Method not found (FCPublish).
I make sure that "CONNECT" is successful.
And, I searched about this ,so I know that "releaseStream"
and "FCPublish" is called by FME.
But, What should I do?
Can I ask your advice on something?

We have a VB.NET project which has recently been migrated from Visual Studio 2003 / .NET 1.1 and Crystal Reports 11 to Visual Studio 2010 / .NET 3.5 and Crystal Reports 2008.
One of the forms uses the crystaldecisions.windows.forms.crystalreportviewer control, and at the point of trying to display a report, pops up the following error since the migration:
Method not found: 'Void CrystalDecisions.Shared.ReportStateInfo.set_DataSource(System.Data.DataSet)'.
All other Crystal Reports functionality is working fine. As far as I can see, the control being used is version 12.0.2000.0 (although 12.0.1100.0 also seems to be available, and suffers from the same problem). All of the Crystal Reports references in the project point to files in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\managed and are version 12.0.1100.0.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Are the wrong versions of the control / DLLs being used? Any advice on how to get this working would be useful!

I've since discovered the .NET 2.0 DLLs in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\managed\dotnet2 (i.e. version 12.0.2000.0) - switching the references to them fixed the problem.

I developed an wpf application in vs2010. I am generating the reports using crystal report wpf viewer. Its working fine on the system it is developed but on target machine its giving following error:

I am using redistributable installation file for crystal report deployment.I am having the same issue. My Visual Sutdio environment is 10.0.40219.1 SP1. I have run the CRRuntime_32bit_13_0.msi on the clients machine. When I run the reports on my development machine I do not have an issue. When the clients run the reports on their machine the get : Method not found: 'Void
SAPBusinessObjects.WPF.Viewer.CrystalReportsViewer.set_ToggleSidePanel(SidePanelKind)'.
What we are trying to do is set the ToggleSidePanel to none. Can someone help me with this? -

Looking at your issue I am wondering if your media is corrupt.
What edition of SQL Server you are trying to install? Did you download that media?
If you downloaded it, perhaps you should try to download it again.
Are you able to install that SQL Server 2008 on another machine without any problem?

Input/Output And Method Not Found Problem
Ok so firstly I think I should apologise on two fronts.
Firstly, 'cause this is probably posted in the wrong board but I'm not sure this was suitable for the Swing board just 'cause I've been using Swing? And secondly 'cause the code I'm gonna post is so shoddy I would think this constitutes as flaim-bait. >_>
In my defense this is purely for a little class project to give something to write some documentation on so I'm really not too bothered about the efficiency or ace-mazingness of the end result. I just want it to work.
To the problem at hand.
I'm trying to write a program that asks the user a question and then outputs their answer to a file, from which a tally of answers can later be made for the purpose of displaying "results".
My problem is I've been having problems with the input/output of saving the answers given to the program.
I'm still learning and input/output is probably my weakest subject (other than, y'know, being good at Java). I've had a bash at it in the following code but all it does it overwrite what is in the file with a single answer so no list of results accumulate. I generally don't have an idea what to try for that one so any pointers would be appreciated.
Also, my second problem is, in trying to gather results by tallying what is contained in the file, I've run across a problem with the charAt() method not being found and I'm not sure why. Isn't that method a part of java.lang?

Oh, and in trying to work with it a bit further I realised I'm having a few problems with runtime errors due to exceptions. The first was due to the array being assigned out of bounds (fixed in the above code). But the second reads the following:

length = s.length();A NPE on that line means that s is null. So let's look at where s is set:
if (br.readLine() == null) return answerarray;
else s = br.readLine();s gets it's value from br.readLine(), so that method must be returning null. You have a logical error here. Look at your If-Else. It reads a line, makes sure it isn't null...then it reads another line. Well what if that line is null? You are performing 2 reads here instead of 1.
Since your If condition returns a value, there's no need for an Else. The code will continue on until it reaches another return. Try this:

We are using a custom made function for formatting date in the XSL transformation. This jar file has been kept under the domain_name/lib folder, and it is working as expected in our Windows environment. However when I tried to deploy it in Linux environment, it is giving the error XML-22043: (Error) Extension function error: Method not found 'getDtformat' (Full stack trace attached below)

Tomcat error: "method not found"
I'm starting a new thread because the issue is method not found.
So kindly bear with me.
I'm using Tomcat 5 with Javac 1.4.2. I have created a test class
called hellothere. The idea is to call a method from JSP.

When I call the returnint after commenting sayworld I get the same error, i.e. method returnint not defined.
Does anyone know what's going on?

You are not trying to run this from an IDE are you?No. I was using Tomcat 5. I don't see this problem with Tomcat 4.

I created simple app in ADF11g production version.this is working fine in Jdev IDE.
In my application two pages are there.in first page just ADF ROF is there.there youcan see the rows in a dept table thru navigation contrlos.and a submit button to navigate to next page.in second page ,i have createinsert button,delete,commit,rollback buttons.and abutton to navigate to first page.
I deployed the EAR successfully to Extervnal WLS10.3while testing it from Browser,
First i got first row in my table along with Navigation contrlos and submit button of first page in the browser.when i am clicking on next button(to move to next row) it is giving the following error in information box.
Method not found: Next.execute(javax.faces.event.ActionEvent).

now my problem solved .just i created one more application newly and deployed it on External WLS.
Now i am able to see all the rows in my DEPT table in my first page of app thru navigation contrlos.
In the same way i am able to see all rows in second page also.and also able to edit the rows thru commit,delete buttons.and able to insert the rows also in second page.
But the submit button to go from page1 to page2 is not working.and also the submit button from page 2 to page1 not working.
I am giving the following in my URL:

Method not found: viewAttribute
I am using Lightroom 1.3 at the moment. The library has been originally created in a beta version and subsequently updated by the newer version. It is located on a removable USB disk drive, and is shared between two computers. The images are are located on the respective local disks, and these locations are used exclusively by Lightroom.
Everything has been working fine, until recently: The critical error box: "Method not found: viewAttribute" pops up every time when clicking on anything 'Folder' related in library mode (for example expanding/collapsing of folders). Depending on what is shown, this box pops up repeatedly, and OK (or ESC) has to be pressed repeatedly. Once an image has been opened in develop mode, working with Lightroom normally is possible.
Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms?

Error "request method not found" in Collaboration?
Hi,
using Collaboration Instant Messaging, after a brief time without chat activity, casts the error popup message "request method not found"
After this message, user click OK and message close, but from that moment, beginning to have problemas navigating, clicking any tab, Portal is always going to the first tab (default page) and is trapped there.
choosing any tab in Top Level Navigation, always return to initial page (the first tab in TLN). (navigation is like "hang")
In addition, Collaboration Instant Messaging becomes offline, and no longer allow user to reconnect. Most of users has problems with online status, some users never appear in green, and others can turn online, but after several minutes, turn offline suddenly.
Version is EP 7.0 SP12
Any help will be appreciated

Error of method not found in C# class in VS 2013 on win7
I am changing a C# code in a solution (it has many files and projets) from VS 2013 on win 7.
I added some properties in class1. It was built well.
But, it has run-time error:
Method not found : class1.set_p1(system.string)
The code logic is as follows:
public class class1
public string p1 {get; set;} // **have updated**
class1 is defined in a C# project that has been added in the solution.
public abstract class class2 : class1
class2 ins2;
ins2.p1 = myData.order.data_file; // myData is from an xml file after deserialize and serialize, data_file is a file path.
I have cleaned up the solution before building. I have also search the error online but none of them can solve my problems.
Any help would be appreciated.Check your dependencies in your projects. I understand the project was added to the solution but was it also added to the projects that will be 1. implementing/inheriting types from that project and 2. consuming types from that project
Check your name spaces to make sure that the type class1 is not also defined in another namespace in that or even a different project. In that case class1 might not have that property available because its pointing to the wrong type.
If that does not solve your problem it would be helpful to include.
the fully qualified namespaces of the types in your type hierarchy that are giving you the problem
the full calling code, the sample above is not correct in syntax.
the project dependencies for the code in question and where the types are located in each project

Method Not Found Invoke Node error 1316 using Solid Works IEdm
Hi Forum members,
I have been having a problem with calling a function in a dll file. I have attached the VI as example. When I use the GetFile method I get a reference to that. I then use the Invoke node and recieve a list of methods, the first of which is ChangeState. I select this method and wire all required inputs and when I run the program I receive the error at that invoke node that the method does not exist. How is this possible? I have tried various methods to ensure the inputs are all correct and none have worked. I do not believe the fault lies in the inputs, but I cannot for the life of me find the problem... Perhaps someone has experience using Solid Works in Labview? Any help would be appreciated.!!

SetFileSatus.vi 18 KBI have determined that there is a problem with the Invoke node not recognising the function. This is a Labview problem as the function is listed and selectable, so when the error comes saying the function is not found, this is a problem with Labview and not the dll. The Function when selected also has the right input parameters that automatically appear. How is it then that the method is not found when the program is run?
