The shared variable does not exist????
This seems really strange!!
I already use several shared variables within my whole project without any problem. At this point, I created a new one (a boolean network published) and everything seemed just fine (no errors were detected in my VI and it runs normally). However, when the VI on my host computer tries to use the shared variable, it generates an error message saying "LabVIEW: (Hex 0x8BBB0005) The shared variable does not exist." (see attached screenshot).
What is going on? I can't find any help online about that... Can anybody help me with this please?

This error can occur if you have an incorrect Path specified under your Bind to Source section for the shared variable - this could be as simple as a typographical error in the defined path. Double-check that portion of your shared variable definition, and hopefully it'll be as simple as finding a typo in your path. You should be able to browse for your variable/path by clicking Browse and then selecting Network Items if your shared variable is on the network. Can you find it by browsing?

Shared Variable does not update when typedef is changed
I have a shared variable of type custom control (typedef made up of a cluster). When I chang the typedef, e.g. the name or type of one of the fields in the cluster, and then save it, the shared variable does not update to reflect this change. That is, if I place the shared variable on my block diagram and do a "UNBUNDLE BY NAME" on the output, I see the old fields. I have to go back to the properties of the shared variable, change its data type, apply it, then go back and change it back to my custom control.
Anyone else seen this behaviour? Anyone know how to get the shared variable to update without going through this procedure?

A general shared_pool_size Q&A is part of the Troubleshooting Guide on OTN: http://technet.oracle.com/products/iportal/htdocs/portal_troubleshooting.htm
The Configuration Assistant determines the shared pool size from the view v$parameter,
which lists information about the initialization parameters (populated from init.ora file). If the shared_pool_size value is more than 15728640 (for a default installation), you pass the minimal requirements set by the Portal Installer. Make sure you actually write out all the digits (i.e. 1000000000) and don't use abbreviations (1000M). Currently, the Configuration Assistant does a numeric check against the values that are set and cannot resolve the abbreviate syntax.
Also try running the sql [select value from v$parameter where name like 'shared_pool_size';] to check if the changes you are making in the init.ora is really getting populated in the v$parameter view. As long as you restart the database once you make the change in init.ora, it should take effect.

In the execution,i have this error :ora-01006 :bind variable does not exist, after analyzing,i have found that the problem is with parameters :5 and :6 ,i don't understand they have the same syntax
as bind variables 1,2,3 and 4.

Variables are bound by position. You cannot use the same bind variable twice, they will be 2 distinct bind variables.
For example, you use :1 three times, so you need to provide three arguments, in this case three times the same value. -

I keep getting this error and my subscription table isn't populating:
The publication 'publish_playerSession_off_serverABC' does not exist.
Other setup items:
1) Both servers are on the same domain Windows Server 2008 running SQL Server 2008 and the SQL agent is running under a network account.
2) I have the publication destination on a shared network drive & the network account mentioned above has access to this drive.

CarlThanks Tracy - I was able to delete the subscription on the publication server and was able to recreate most of the subscription on the subscription server but so far have been unable to start the subscription agent.
I ran the command exec sp_link_publication yesterday and received the error: "The Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) service could not be contacted. If you would like distributed transaction functionality, please start this service."
WTF? Anyhow - Googled this issue for awhile and was advised to run a command with a utility called subinacl.exe but the command failed stating that access is denied even though i'm an admin on my computer & I ran the command promp with elevated privileges.
I also downloaded a tool called DTCping.exe and was able to dtcping each server when the utility was running on the publication & subscription servers after tweaking some registry settings on the subscription server & restarting.
Well now i'm still stuck because the subscription agent is failing to start stating (this is the last error in the job that kicks off the agent):
Agent message code 21056. The subscription to publication 'publish_igt_period_data' has expired or does not exist.
Whew! Well i have other priorities this morning but will update this thread if I make any progress on this issue later...

Bind variable does not exist...
Hi,
I have an Access UI which is calling an Oracle package. The package has a simple command:
INSERT INTO Table1 SELECT * from Table2
The above query runs fine in Oracle directly, but when I run it through the package, I get the error "Bind variable does not exist". What does that mean? The query does not have any parameters. Similar queries running thgough the package that insert into other tables work fine.
Something with structure of Table2 (this is a new table)?

Access to Oracle is using ODBC, some of the SQL syntax specific to Oracle may not work. You might also check how table1 and table2 defined in Access. Are they all linked Oracle tables or one of them is Access table?

Azure Rest API PUT Block Blob Returns "The specified resource does not exist" CORS
I am trying to upload a file to Azure Blob storage. For some reason when I try to put a new block blob on in the storage it tells me the resource does not exist. I am sure it is something silly I am missing.
According to the documentation:
The Put Blob operation creates a new block blob or page blob, or updates the content of an existing block blob. Updating an existing block blob overwrites any existing metadata on the blob. Partial updates are not supported with Put Blob; the content of the
existing blob is overwritten with the content of the new blob. To perform a partial update of the content of a block blob, use the Put Block List (REST API) operation.
CORS is setup and that seems okay.

I have successfuly created projects/tasks, and updated projects. However, when I tried to call pa_project_pub.update_task, I get an error

The error is happening because of this line in the where clause:
WHERE (PO_LINE_ID = :1)
After the page forward it obviously looses what PO_LINE_ID contained. Is there a way to completely load the page from the JSP? Or a way to reload the VO in the processFormAction?

Y don't u pass a page parameter say XXX with the value of line id when you redirect to same page? In that case u can execute query of the VO with the value of XXX, in process request, when u redirect to same page.

I think it should work now right as i am using UNION in extended VO and assigning the attribute3 to Job. As per the querybean it will create where clause based on JOB,so it should handle right.
