There is Something Stuck In My iPod's Front camera

Whenever I take a photo using my front camera, there is a diagonal shadow through the picture. If you look closely at the camera, you can see a white thing diagonal across the camera which is the same part of the picture that has the shadow. I think it might be a wire or something from inside that got moved around but it puts a really ugly shadow on the pictures. How do I fix it?
P.S. I have an OtterBox on the iPod and I barely drop it so I don't think it was from that...

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. It happened to some other users before iOS 7. Thus, it does not appear to be an iOS 7 problem.

I would take it to your nearest apple store or AASP as you may accidentally damage something in the process of trying to remove it yourself.

Why does my iPod 4g front camera not work?

I have an iPod 4g for over a year now. The front camera no longer works. Whenever I click the button to switch it to the front camera, the last image from the rear camera just freezes. I have tried restarting my iPod and even resetting it. It still doesn't work. I don't have the warranty on it anymore either. Please help! My iPod touch front camera extremely blurry, can't focus??

My iPod touch's camera cannot focus, it takes extremely blurry pictures. I just noticed it does take very clear close-up photos, they almost look magnified. This seems like a hardware problem, because there is nothing visibly wrong with the camera or the lens, and it takes very good close up pictures. It also has been very difficult to find other people with this same problem on the internet.

Are you anywhere near an Apple Store or Apple authorized repair facility? If so, you might try taking your computer in and see if a trained technician can get the postit it note out without disassembling the iBook. It is very easy to cause damage by trying to fish it out yourself.
If the post it cannot be fished out by a skilled technician, then probably the iBook would have to be disassembled, which you can either do yourself or have done.

Front camera on my iPod 5 gen doesn't work!! Help?

Pretty much ever since I updated to iOS 7.0.3, it stopped working one day. When I try to use the Camera app, the back camera works but when I want to switch it so I can see myself, it freezes and stays black. If I use other photo apps like Instagram or Snapchat and try to take a pic using the front camera the switching option to switch between them just isn't there, it doesn't display as if the front camera doesn't exist.
I doubt it's a hardware problem as there's NOTHING wrong with the cam itself but it is in fact the software. What can I do? I tried resetting all settings but that didn't help. I don't want to erase all content though as I don't know how to use the backup programs like icloud or time machine or whatever.. and it might not even work, would make me even more angry.

Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Try right next to the router
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Something is stuck in my iPod's headphones hole.

Yesterday I tried plugging a headphone in my iPod. I realized there was something in the way. I tried taking it out but the headphones made it worse. Now my iPod sees whatever is blocking the way as an headphone so I can't even hear any sound from my iPod. What shall I do?
