This is a second question on the same topic. I want to create multiple drags to each drop. I give the drags group names. Step three: run line to drops. Step 4: click object actions Step 5: unclick all but the one group name. It works for 2 out of 3 groups
I hope that someone will answer this. I want to create a drag and drop. Each drop has multiple drag answers. I group the drags and give them a Type name. I initial the drops. I go to Object actions. I unclick "accept all" I unclick all but the group I want to go to that drop. When I preview, two of the drops accept the three choices that they are supposed to accept. But the first one I try, only accepts one choice and lets the others bounce back. I'd also like to have a reset button which I can't find. I've spent hours and hours working on this.
Got it. When you go to unclick all the choices except the group you want, you have to also change the count. Even if the drags are in a group, the count still considers them individually

My ipod will not let me use all but like 3 apps fully without closing me out of the app and i can only use safari or the app store for about 10 seconds without it shutting down the app. This has been happening for about 6 months after the upgrade to ios 4. Please help, should i take my ipod to an apple store?? It is a ipod 2nd generation itouch with ios 4.

no sound while watching you tube videos on my ipad. This is my second replacement ipad with same problem. No sounds coming out from the speakers, even after reset everything. Mute button is assigned for mute function instead of screen rotation lock.

It sounds like you will still want to link your iPad and computer, but you want to prevent the iPad from syncing information from your computer to your iPad. I have an article here for you that can help tell you how to set this up:

You will want to follow the steps here to set up the iPad for syncing, but when it comes time to sync, you'll just want to make sure that the boxes for syncing the multitude of items that you can sync remain unchecked so that none of that information gets synced into the iPad.
Another note: your second Apple ID will not be able to access the apps, music, movies, tv shows, etc., that you have purchased under your primary Apple ID. Even though it seems that the secondary Apple ID still has access to those items, that is just because you are viewing your second Apple ID through the iTunes Store section on your computer and you have those items saved locally on your computer. You will need to repurchase and download all of the content that you wish to use again on your second Apple ID, if that is what you wish to solely use on this iPad.

I go to google. I type in "plants". A lot of sites will pop up in google. I click on a site (does not matter which usually). The site will then start to switch to a new url from (click kick, morsearch, etc) turning into a new search engine with the same topic and more options. I never get to the page I want unless I type the url directly into the address box. It always comes back with a search engine. So far I have found this only happens while starting in a search engine. When I get into the actual page, everything is fine. I am using McAfee for security and it hasn't caught a virus or anything yet. Help please! Thanks!

Have been told if you use the same itunes account on two iphones, you will receive each others text messages, is this true?
you can use the same itunes id for purchases and so on, but have separate icloud id's for imessaging and all the icloud stuff. it's not preferable, but it isn't a problem either.

The APP update request came for 4 apps. I submitted update all, but the system is stuck and will not update. Further, I cannot use those apps. How do I fix this?
Two other things to try -
Power your iPad off for a minute and then back on again.
Double tap the Home button, locate the updating apps (one by one) in the bottom task bar, press on it until the red minus sign comes up and click it. Repeat for the remaining apps. Try the updates again but do them one by one rather than Update All. -

Hi there, I have installed iTune on my new Toshiba laptop which runs on Win 8. I can update itune on Toshiba laptop, sync but the iphone Apps still showing app to be updated. Restarted both Itune and iphone....reset phone backup....to no avail.....HELP!
I have removed now all bloatware from laptop, CCleaner run and some more stuff: installed Libre Office, Free Avast, Mozilla Firefox - Spotify was preinstalled. And now this is even better - really simple and fast.
I also removed Ethernet completely, as I don't want to be locked at one place. It's not cool to use laptop on divan sofa. So tired after hour of sitting in uncool position. Wifi speed loss is almost 50%. 95 Mbps I get from 100 Mbps at Ethernet and on Wifi in laptop I get at max 50 Mbps. It's only for end this year this way, then I will slow down my connection anyway as for one person and laptop/smartphone it's way too much of speed for 40 €. With 27€ I can get the same 10M/10M and it will be more than enough. Now I have 100M/10M.
I'm also considering about 50M/10M option for 32.90 €, but I will see what I do. I download now test file 10GB and it loads 30-40 Mbps and sometimes even as fast as 50 Mbps. It depends on server also, but ebven on Google, which works on Ethernet at 95 Mbps, it is on Wifi nothing more than 51 Mbps.
It's also 10GB of 1,100 Offlined tracks, I tested it now. So on trips 32GB card should be enough for my phone. I'm going to one soon :) -
I am slowly nursing a broken Montain Lion Server back to health. The problems started with a name change days ago then went sour, probably because of some stuff in the keychain that tripped the commands up.
I have now a trusted Root CA in my System Keychain which has signed my wildcard Certificate for my domain and all my services are protected by this wildcard certificate. Creating and installing that certificate helped me back (slowly) but there are still problems to solve
I also have set the com.apple.servermgrd identity preference to this (now trusted) wildcard certificate a few minutes ago
I am busy cleaning as much as possibe of junk from my Keychains to improve stability, of course without damaging things (I hope)
There are 19 "Mac OS X Server certificate management" application passwords in my System Keychain.
12 are from 9 days ago when I installed this clean OS X Mountain Lion Server for the first time, created within a minute during server install.
1 from 6 minutes later, maybe when I turned on a Service
2 are from that day, but 2 and 3 hours later (also probably because of something I did in Server.app, like enabling a service)
1 from 2 days later (probably when I tried to change the server name/domain)
1 from again 5 days later (probably when I tried to change the server name/domain again)
1 from yesterday, when I changed the servername
1 from today, when I changed the server name again.
What are these application passwords for and can I safely remove all but the last one? What are they for?I went ahead and remove them a month ago. So far, there don't seem to be any issues. As long as you double-triple-check that the hash-number in those "Mac OS X Server certificate management" keychains _aren't_ in the filename of any of the *.pem files in the /etc/certificates folder, you can delete those orphan keychains.

Hello I am having problems viewing areas of a pdf...it's a form fillable pdf that someone else has completed and saved..I'm able to view all but the areas that have been filled in.. any info would help
Hi Bob, I just tried your suggestion, but the interactive PDF is in spreads by default, no way to change the setting. When I choose to view by single page in Acrobat, it displays a single spread.
When I choose to view by spreads, it displays 4 pages, two spreads. That's the topic of this whole discussion, I believe. I do own CS 6 at home, however my employer supplied me with CS 5.5. And I have very little, if any, influence on purchasing.
So, I have no good way to make an interactive PDF (with differing recto/verso headers and footers), that is accessible and shows the correct header/footer. It's either single pages (with one header/footer), or recto/verso headers/footers but PDF only as a spread, as well as I can tell.
Unless you know something else I can do...

To use Selection tool in 'Out of Bounds' guided, you need to click on Selection Tool tab in order to select it. It will turn dark grey (symbol of selection) on selection. Now you will be able to select. Please try again and let me know if this solves the problem.

My wife and I have both synced our iphones to the same desktop computer. She recently synced her ipad to the same computer. Now we cannot send messages to each other anymore. any ideas?
By signing up for an apple ID it means she will be able to download her own apps and music and in future redownload if required for free. Ideally it should be the primary email address she uses as you can't transfer purchases etc to another ID.
Photos shouldn't disappear but back them up before hand. These days everyone gets an iCloud.com address so she could use this as her ID. You would need to go to www.apple.com/iCloud from a computer to sign up for this. Bearing in mind you need a mac with lion or mountain lion or a pc with windows vista onward to take advantage of all services like calendar sync and find my iPhone etc.
Otherwise sign up for an apple id with any other email address. You can do this at https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
AND Click on create an apple ID.
the applications linked to your existing apple ID will have to be redownloaded on the other ID but you won't lose them on yours. -
I can see 5 versions of java console in addons manager,6.0.04,6.0.07,6.0.10,6.0.12 and 6.0.14.Do I need all these or should I disable all but the latest?
You can manually remove those; they were not properly cleaned up by Java when updating. See:
