  • Failure: WebModule[/amserver]: WEB2680: Exception starting filter amlcontro

    We have installed JES2005Q1 on solaris 10, and it worked well. But after setting some configrations on WEB server admin console and apply changes, the server.xml has been changed automatically, returning to original unconfigured version, many items such as /amserver,/amconsole lost. Then we fix this problem as following steps:
    1.We insert these lost items(/amserver,/amconsole, etc) into server.xml, and restart.
    2.It prompted that some classes can not found. Then we add these related jar(all jars under SUNWam/lib) to "Classpath Suffix" on admin console, restart.
    3.It still throw exception during the loading of /amserver, the output on console when the exception occured is attached.
    4.Then we do not know how to go on without detailed prompt about the exception.

  • Exception starting workflow while creating new project

    We created a new SharePoint Designer based workflow and published it to Project Online.
    Later we created new EPT and associated the above mentioned workflow to it.
    Now whenever we tried creating a new project based on this EPT, it fails with an error as mentioned below:
    "Your new EPT has been created successfully, but failed to publish and will not be listed in the Project Error".
    Looking at the queue jobs, I see below errors. Does anyone how to solve this issue?

    Hi, Joao.
    First of all, thank you for your previously help.
    I'm trying to use the mapviewer.ear from the mapviewer_11gpre2.zip file on the JBoss 4.2.2. GA server.
    The ojdl.jar library I had copy from the mapviewer_for_oc4j1013.ear archive, I also added a xmlparserv2.jar and dms.jar library.
    After that it worked perfectly.
    I believe that is all.

  • Peculiar exception thrown. while starting the WLS6.0

    The following error is displayed event after using the original config.xml.booted file to
    start the server. I did this because I was trying to convert the existing wls510 properties
    file & for that I was creating one more server called myserver within the same domain.
    The following problem started after doing so. Before that , it was starting ok.
    If someone could help me in this, I will be very thankful to them.
    Thanks again.

  • Attempting to start NodeManager with WLST

    I have a WLST script that list all the configured nodemangers in a domain. I use that list to make a menu. In theory I am trying to have a user pick a nodemanager from the menu and start it without providing any other information. It's not working out well. Here is what I am doing:
    #Create Menu
    def display():
    nm = cmo.getMachines()
    menuItems = {}
    num = 1
    for nodeName in nm:
    print "%d. %-3s" % (num, nodeName.getName())
    menuItems[num] = nodeName.getName()
    num = num + 1
    try:
    selection = raw_input("Make a Selection: ")
    print ""
    print "You selected %s" % menuItems[int(selection)]
    choice = menuItems[int(selection)]
    return choice
    except KeyError, ValueError:
    print "%s is not a menu option!" %
    I make the following call: pick = display()
    This stores the nodemanager name in var pick to use later.
    I then run the following method: StartNodeManager(pick)
    The contents of the method:
    StartNodeManager(pick)
    serverRuntime()
    WLHome=cmo.getWeblogicHome()
    NODEManagerHome=WLHome+'/common/nodemanager'
    domainConfig()
    cd('/Machines/' pick '/NodeManager/' +pick)
    nodeIP = cmo.getListenAddress()
    nodePort = cmo.getListenPort()
    startNodeManager(verbose='true', NodeManagerHome=NODEManagerHome, ListenPort=nodePort, ListenAddress=nodeIP)
    When 'startNodeManager(verbose='true', NodeManagerHome=NODEManagerHome, ListenPort=nodePort, ListenAddress=nodeIP)' command is run I get the following error:
    Problem invoking WLST - Traceback (innermost last):
    File "/home/beaadmin/bin/scripts/wlst/nodemanager-v103.py", line 123, in ?

    File "<iostream>", line 1589, in startNodeManager
    TypeError: setProperty(): 2nd arg can't be coerced to String
    Is that saying the NodeManagerHome value is throwing the exception? When I set all the vars manually in WLST and run the startNodeManager command it runs fine.
    Any ideas?
    The code for the StartNodeManager method is as follows:

    I looked that up and tried running it a couple of different ways and got the following:

    Successfully launched the Node Manager.
    The Node Manager process is running independent of the WLST process.
    Exiting WLST will not stop the Node Manager process. Please refer

  • Exception starting managed server

    Hi All,
    I installed and configured WLS 8.1. I also configured nodemanager and everything
    was working fine. Then I added some classpath parameters and now I had to restart
    the managed server so that the classpath changes will be applied. Here I started
    getting the following exception and the managed server is not starting at all.
    [The request to start the server myServer of domain mydomain failed because the
    node manager did not hear from the managed server in the configured timeout period.
    Despite this, if the managed server has not failed, it will come up and the node
    manager will start monitoring it. To adjust this timeout so that the task does
    not fail prematurely, please refer to the node manager property ScavangerDelaySeconds
    (Default value : 180 seconds. Current value : 180 seconds).]
    I also verified that nodemanager is working fine.
    Thanks

  • I need to peek inside the JVM for thrown exceptions but how?

    I have recently inherited 5 petabytes of Java code with other 86 quadrillion lines of code.
    There is an exception being thrown somewhere while this is running (under tomcat in a big loop) and I need to find out exactly where.
    The exception being thrown is not being displayed in any log file.
    Because of the multi-threaded nature of the running code, I have difficulty tracing through it with the most advanced and technically superior Java IDE on the planet.
    I was wondering if there is a way to attach some sort of monitor or debug tool to the running JVM and see if exceptions are being thrown anywhere at all during runtime and to capture them or log them - or at least see them.
    I will not be able to discover this through the code. If there is any product or utility that will allow me to debug the problem, please let me know.
    your help is greatly appreciated
    PurpleTek

    If an uncaught exception occurs, the jdk normally stops and prints out a stack trace on stderr, eg:
        Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
         at exception.blow(exception.java:11)
         at exception.main(exception.java:6)It sounds like this doesn't happen for you. If not, and the exception isn't displayed in any log file,
    how do you know an exception occurred? Does your app just stop? Maybe the output shown above is
    lost because of the way your app is started - ie, stderr is lost.
    Can you just run your app under jdb? jdb automatically catches uncaught exceptions. You can also use the jdb 'catch' command to catch caught exceptions. If you catch 'caught' exceptions, you will probably find that your app generates lots of them. You might want to specify which exceptions to catch and which to ignore.

    Windows 2000 is also technically NT 5.0 right? So in your case, upgrading from NT4.0 to NT5.0 solved the problem? Okay, i'll try that as a last alternative, but I'm still hoping that it can be solved by just doing some tinkering on the configuration. Anybody? :)
