To change the standard program

Hi all,
My reqmt is to change the GUI status and interface of the transaction MB26. MB26 uses the report PP_PICK_LIST to execute. The current GUI status and interface are,
GUI Interface : SAPLCOWB
GUI Status : STATUS_MMIM
I have coded in the exit EXIT_SAPLCOWB_001 as,
TYPES: reftype TYPE REF TO data.
DATA: lty_ref TYPE reftype.
DATA: ls_control TYPE cowb_ctrl,
      ls_prog TYPE progname.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <lfs_control> TYPE ANY,
               <lfs_prog> TYPE ANY,
               <lfs_prog1> TYPE ANY.
GET REFERENCE OF ls_control INTO lty_ref.
ASSIGN lty_ref->* TO <lfs_control>.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
ASSIGN ('(SAPLCOWB)G_COWB_CTRL') TO <lfs_control>.
CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
ls_control = <lfs_control>.
ls_control-pf_status = 'ZSTATUS_MMIM'.
<lfs_control> = ls_control.
UNASSIGN <lfs_control>.
to change the pf status of the transaction MB26.
Now what I need to do is to change the standard program from SAPLCOWB to ZSAPLCOWB.
For it is there anyway to change in the enhancement like the pf status or can we change in the standard program PP_PICK_LIST.
I used sy-repid also, but its giving me a dump. So provide a solution other than that.

Dear Sharan,
You can use a System Field SY-CPROG which gives you the Program Name.
This Varibale can be used to change the Program Name.
Try this Hope this will help you.
But i think this you would using to only call the PF-STATUS of this New Z Program.

You use SE38 to change out the code. When you try and change it you will get a popup asking you for a Key, since you are changing SAP Code. If you have a Developers key you have to go to the SAP Service Marketplace and tell SAP that you are changing this code in order to get they key. After this every time you do support packs you run the risk of this getting overlaid and you will have to change it back, also if you have a problem and SAP sees that you customized this code they probably won't spend any time on your problem.

2. I can tell one of like ...
To change a standard program or functionality or standard field in sap,we have to go for related user,customer scvren exit etc.
We have to find the right exit to that particular transaction and do our customized coding there.We have to be very careful,since we are going to change the standard exit.this user exit will be used in 'N' number of other screens and transaction.So when you change , that change will /may affect the other transactions also.If you corrupt that particular exit,there are chances for that transaction to go for a toss.I have experianced this personally.when I was working on particular userxit and editing,that particular transaction was not working properly for others,since i was doing from my login,everyone came to my place and started bugging me to stop working on it:)

Append structures. but,it is not possible to change key of the existing of table .

How to change the standard purchase order ???

Hi,
i am trying to change the output form of standard purchase order.for that i copied the standard script/form to my own created script/smart form.i modified it as per user requirement and i have given the same name in NACE>EF>output type>NEU>processing routine..in place of the standard one.and i have also activated the standard program i.e. SAPFM06P.but when i am going to me22n and print preview the previous form format is coming...
if i will create my own smartform then it is difficult for mapping all the fields to me22n...user can not input other fields in me21n if i am giving my print program name in NACE...
can anybody please help me...????

Hi,
Are you sure you have set it for medium 1 (print output) and specify the program, FORM routine, and the Form/Script correctly?
Another reason is the output type is not set up yet at the PO. Go to ME22N and click Messages button (next to Print preview button) and check whether your output type is already there. If it is not, then create one.
Please also check that you have copy client the form/script from development client to test client (SAPScript need this but no need for Smartform) using T-Code SCC1. And the config is configured properly in test client.

Reversal of Changes to Standard program HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY

Hi there,
Yesterday we made changes to HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY web dynpro component.
We have added one Interface method which will be called from one of the method in HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT component controller.
This change served our purpose. The purpose is to change page dynamically when there is a new page element. Now we don't want that through standard program change. We have decided to do by enhancement. We also did some enhancement before we have modified the standard program.
I have tried to reset to original through SE95 transaction code and activated. But when I go and check HAP_DOCUMENT_BOY, Method still exist.
Actions at SE95
Can anybody help on this ?

All required function modules can be found in function group SLVC (assuming that you are using OO-based ALV or, at least, fm REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC):
LVC_VARIANT_DEFAULT_GET (Read default display variant (description only, w/o field catalog))
LVC_VARIANT_EXISTENCE_CHECK
LVC_VARIANT_F4 (Display variant selection dialog box)
LVC_VARIANT_SELECT (Read a display variant)
For a sample report using LVC_VARIANT_DEFAULT_GET have a look at BCALV_GRID_10.

Error While executing the Standard Program RSEINB00

Hi,
I am trying to execute the Standard Program RSEINB00.
The input parameters for this program are
1. File path along with name
2. Port.
File path I am giving the application server directory along with the filename.
For port. i have created a port in WE21.
For both outbound parametes I selected the Physical directory and gave directory name and file name in both tabs and saved the port definition.
Now I am passing the port to the RSEINB00 program.
it is giving an error File cannot be opened.
Can any one help me on this. Can someone guide me how to use RSEINB00 to read file from application server.

I think,you missed out some steps while creating Port.so please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
we21->click on your port number->outbound file tab->function module: EDI_PATH_CREATE_MESTYP_DOCNUM.
outbound file: give file name .txt.
and give the physical directory : /usr/sap/.......................................txt and save.
and click on 'ACESS TEST' button and check any error is coming.
go to outbound trigger tab-> give RFC destination name which we have created under a port in SM59.
and one more important thing is check your unicode status is active or not.

How do I change the default program to open Pages docs to the old (4.3) version instead of the new one (5.0)? When I do what Apple said and go to a Pages file in finder and select "get info" then select "Pages 4.3" and "change all" it just defaults to the new one even though I'd selected the old one. Do I need to completely uninstall the new version of Pages or is there another work around because the new version of Pages comes dreadfully short of the features I need that are included in the old one?

Actually there is a workaround.
If you open the file in Pages 5, it can then be exported on Pages 0.9 format to another folder. I had to do this as the document was only in iCloud and couldn't be recoverd by Time Machine.

Need to Change the Standard.joboptions on Acrobat 8.0

We are a Citrix/Terminal Server shop and have clients using Acrobat 8.0 on the server under their citrix session and they need to have the default resolution of the created PDF to change for everyone on the server from 600 dpi to 300 dpi.
When I try to do this in the printer setup for Acrobat it tells me that I can't edit the Standard.joboptions file and save it over itself. I then tried to manually edit the file with Notepad and it is still showing 600 dpi when I look at the Standard settings.
I also changed the Standard and set it as 300 dpi and saved it as a different name in the "Settings" folder and when I try to choose it in the drop down list of settings files I don't see that one.
Am I missing something? How can I set the default resolution to 300?

Like I said, I saved the changes to another file but then do not see a way to specify that new file as the 'default'.

For outbound IDoc the program can be found:
1) For master IDoc via transaction BD60. Here for the message type you can find the function module used to generate the IDoc. Within this function module you can find the user exit where you can code your logic.
2) For IDocs with message control (output control) we maintain settings for proces code in WE41. This process code will lead to outbound IDoc generation program.
For Inbound IDoc the program can be found:
Via WE42 where inbound process and its related inbound function module is maintained.
In each cases above we can go the function module and find the customer exit where idoc enhancement logic can be coded.

It can be summarized as follows:
Enter transaction WE30 (ALE->Extension-> IDOC types->Maintain Idoc type)
- Type in your name of the extended IDOC type (usually starting with 'Z') and click on the Basic IDoc type, click the create icon.
- Click on Create new and enter a description and press enter.
- Click on ZIDOCTYPE01 and then on the Create icon.
- Enter ZIDOCTYPE as the segment type, click on Segment Editor.
- Enter a description for your segment type and create.
- Enter a description for your segment, enter each field required in your IDoc and press enter to validate.
- Save and generate, press back
- To release the segment choose Goto, Release from the menu.
- Check the box on the line of your segment.
- Save, back and enter.
- Your Idoc type structure should be displayed with your new segment.
- Save and back.
- To release the Idoc type choose Extras, Release type from the menu and Yes.

How can I change the default program for the external applications editor?

I have read the on line directions for this and it reads "select a file type in the left pane." I do not see where this is in the left pane. All I see in the left pane is "Browser start pages" and a "How do I " Pane. Nothing with file types.

Welcome to Adobe Forums.
In order to change the default program for the external applications editor. Please follow the steps as mentioned below.
Click on Edit menu then choose preferences.
Once the preferences dialog box open.
click on file editors.
On the Left pane you will find all the file types which you want to edit .
On the right hand side you will find the editors for that specific file type.
If you want to add any other application you need to click on + symbol at the top of right pane.
Select the path of that application which you want to apply.
clcik on open.
If you want to make it primay you can click make primary option available at the right hand top. For more detials please check the screenshot below.
