To create a fixed row in the bottom of table and to merge three columns

Hi,
I have a table displaying some values but is there any way to get a fixed row at the bottom which will sum the values above.
ie
service   business jan       feb       mar      april
table       cut          900       100      100      200
chair       blade       100        200      300     400
sum                       1000      300      400    600
so the final row i need it to be constant even if i scroll down the table, this row should be always fixed and visible. and the table data are filled dynamically.. so i dont know the no of rows available as well.
How can I do it. Any insight on it will be helpful.

Hi,
CL_WD_TABLE - >SET_FOOTER_VISIBLE where you can provide that summation in the footer.
As you are calculating the sum there will be the Name for that field to hold summation value right.
Based on the name of that field you can set it to the footer by passing the necessary paramters to that
method.
How are you filling the table.

How come Merge always Insert new row at the bottom?

I came across an issue when I was using Merge to update a table A in my database. I used a stored procedure which takes a table variable, say B, as a parameter. A and B has the same structure. I would like A always to be updated with B. Merge seems to be
a perfect choice to do this task.
I created a datatable in code, and passed this datatable to the stored procedure. It works well. However, any rows in B that don't exist in A are always inserted at the bottom of table A. How can I possibly let the new row be inserted into the middle of
the table?

How can I update A to be exactly like B? If I use Merge to do insertion, I get
Table A:
Tom 23 Male
Jerry 20 Male
Linda 39 Female
Sam 30 Male
Yes, this is exactly the same as Table B. Tables are sets, that they are unordered objects. If you want to see data, you need to apply an ORDER BY clause.

My desktop has an empty row at the bottom

Whenever I try to organise my desktop, it always leves an empty row at the bottom, where there could be folders.
This annoys me. A lot.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

If you set your dock position to the left side ( or right side) of the screen, 'Cleanup' will then utilize the space at the bottom. The cleanup function will not use space below that point when the dock is set at the bottom in order to avoid having the dock overlap folders...even if the dock is set only to appear when you hover over it.
1) System Preferences > Dock > Position on screen (set to right or left).
2) Cleanup your desktop, and space at the bottom will be utilized.
You can also adjust view options of your desktop icons to your liking...such as snap to grid, size, text position, etc:
Right click (or control + click) anywhere on the desktop > Show view options.

How can I create a status bar at the bottom of a window ?

I would like to create a status bar at the bottom of my main window similiar to "Internet explorer" has. I thought of using a tool bar but I can't see how to keep it positioned at the bottom of the window when the window is resizable. Any other ideas on how to do this the bar only needs to contain a small amout of text and maybe an icon or two.

CVI doesn't have a status bar control on UI element like the one available in Visual Studio++. The best way to replicate this is most like through a string control that is resized and positioned to remain at the bottom of the window and colored to look appropriately. I have also seen the combination of a decoration and a text message used.

Hello, seems to be a glitch with an icon on my desktop row at the bottom

Hi. The row at the bottom of the screen that has all of the different icons appears to have a visual glitch for my macbook pro.
When I first got the computer I deleted (dragged an icon away from the row and it poofs away) several unwanted icons. The one all the way on the left which acted as if you had just clicked macintosh hd was poofed away, however when I turn on my computer it has glitched its way to a set location on the screen.
In the bottom near-left edge the icon is sitting there and is not a part of the icon row. In fact when I add a bunch of icons to grow the row the real icons just kind of gow on top of it, as if the smiling face thing was just a normal part of the screen.
Sorry for being hard to decipher and vague but I hope my problem is understood as it is certainly quite bothersome.

Actually...if you read the original poster's first message carefully...you will see that he or she has managed to get an icon (probably an alias to the Finder) on the desktop BEHIND the dock and doesn't know how to get at it.
So... To solve that problem...
1) Go to the Apple Menu, Select Dock... Then Position on Left.
2) Right on the icon on your desktop (it should stay while your 'icon row' - that's the Dock - has moved to the left side of your screen) and select "Move to Trash". If you don't have an external mouse, press the CTRL key and click; the same menu will appear.
3) Go back to the Apple Menu, Select Dock... Then Position on Bottom.

The internet is the internet. if its not working then its something to do with your not allowing cookies from apple's site or they are having issues.

Template is used for proper allignment of data which table is used for displaying multiple data.
We can say Template is for static data and Table is for dynamic data.
Suppose we have a requirement in which we have to allign the customer address in such a way as shown below:-
Name- Vasu Company- WIPRO Location- Chennai
Desig- S/W Native - Mumbai
Then for proper allighnment we can create a template and split that into 3 columns and 2 rows and create text elements for each cell display a proper allighned data at the output.
When we include a template inside a loop it gives the same property as a table.
When we have mutiple data which is to be extended to the next page like when we display all employee details in a company we use table.
Table has 3 sections , HEADER, ITEM ,FOOTER
The header secntion will be executed once and it will loop at the item level. at the end footer will be executed.
Hope this gives u some idea..

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)

Welcome to the world of complicated Oracle Application queries. Didn't fully understand your question, so a few guesses -
I think that you are asking how to make your query faster? I would reference the FAQ section on how to post a question regarding performance.
Your title indicates you want to understand the relationship between tables and views. In general, Oracle Applications uses views for 2 reasons - to join data from multiple tables for display, and to differentiate data from different organizations. (I am still on 11i and have heard organizations are handled differently in 12 so I can't speak to that for sure).
To understand the relationship between tables in a view, you can access the view's source code, either through a development tool such as PL/SQL Developer or TOAD (I'm guessing Oracle's tool does this also, but have never used it), or by querying the source from the dba_source table.

Freeze row at the bottom

I am trying to create a spreadsheet for a small non-profit to create a budget, I want to freeze the row that it the bottom of each column so that the totals are always visible. The cells above can be scrolled up or down but the bottom stays the same. In Excel one can split the screen and accomplish this by having 2 versions of the spreadsheet visible at the same time in one Excel screen. Can this be done in Numbers?

You can lock the position of Header Rows, but not of Footer Rows.
But you can place the formula calculating the column SUM into a header row, where it can be kept on the screen.

We have a PurchaseOrderHeaderView object and on click of Copy Purchase Order we want to copy a row in PURCHASE_ORDER_HEADER table to create a new row. We don't want to copy the primary key only the remaining fields.

If you use ADF BC, you can create a new row programatically via createRow and use a sequence to create the Id and use the "original" row (probably the current row in the view object) to copy the values from to newly created row. Then use insertRow and commit to create the copied row.
