To Fine the list of deployed ejbs

we r using j2ee as application server and deployed serveral ejbs using
deploytool.
i need to find all the deployed ejbs.
from where i will get this info..
as i have seen in weblogic i can get this info from config.xml file
under the application tag.
Is there anything similar to this wherein i can get this?

You can try "asadmin list-components ... --type ejb..."

    Well, if it's not a version problem with either the JDK (installing java 6 on top of a java 5 distribution) or the Jars (like JAXB) , then , as pointed out, you might have written your Web service using a packageless class:
    java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1

  • MBean +getting a list of deployed apps..

    Hello,
    I'm currently writing a webapp that is similar to the weblogic administration console (but with added functionalities).
    Just like the weblogic admin console, this app has to display the list of deployed applications in the server (weblogic 8.1).
    I've read about DeployerRuntimeMBean, but it seems that it does not provide any methods to achieve what I want. Am I looking at the wrong place? Could someone share a light please?
    Thanks a lot for the help!
    Best regards,
    Alex Wibowo.

    Look at the ApplicationRuntimeMBean. If you get a list of them associated with a server, that will be the list of apps the server knows about (whether all of the components are deployed or not). You can see this list when you navigate with WLST, but I'm not certain exactly how to get this list from JMX. Perhaps just 'AdminHome.getMBeansByType("ApplicationRuntimeMBean")'. Note that the "name" of the object will likely be the server name, plus "_", plus the actual appname.

    I would double check to make sure the EJB was indeed deployed (check

    successfully deployed? Also, verify the JNDI name you are lookingup in
    your client matches the JNDI name for the EJB. If this doesn't solve

  • Calling a newly deployed EJB from an EJB gives a NoSuchMethod Exception if the jar of the newly deployed ejb is not in the classpath

    Hi ,
    I have an EJB A which is already deployed when the server starts. A second ejb

    the methods in newly deployed EJB's.
    I also use the URLClassLoader to load all the classes in the jar file of the newly

    Hi,
    I am attaching a test case. This test case actually demonstrates a security bug.
    Unzip the file and modify the StartWeblogic.cmd in domainA to not refer to the
    SampleRemoteEJB.jar in the classpath. If u run the test client under the client
    dir u will see a NoSuchMethodException.
    The reason is it is not able to load the dynamically generated stub file.
    Initially I had the getMethod and it didn't work. You might have to modify the
    files to suit ur env. The easier way is to run th edomain wizard and create 2
    domains. Run the servers in development mode and place the jars under the applications
    dir

    Try changing your call to getDeclaredMethod() to getMethod().
    getDeclaredMethod() searches only the class you called it on, whereas
    getMethod() traverses to the superclasses and interfaces. You onlyneed
    getDeclaredMethod() when you're accessing a nonpublic method.
    Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a shot.

    Does the spec allow/support this?
    If not, any suggestions as to how to achieve this sort of functionality?

  • Error_42_Error occurred in deployment step 'Activate Features': Field type MyCustomField is not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete this field.

    Has anyone encountered this error.
    I am developing on SP 2010 with VS 2010.
    I was following an online tutorial: How to use custom form templates in NewForm.aspx/EditForm.aspx  located at:
    http://sharepointbox.blogspot.co.at/2010/11/how-to-use-custom-form-templates-in.html
    The tutorial was a little lacking on some of the direction, but it included the working source code, and I managed to complete it.
    Every time I try to deploy my version I get the error: Error 42 Error occurred in deployment step 'Activate Features': Field type MyCustomField is not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete this field.
    I have gone through my code line by line and matched it to the working code from the tutorial, so I can only assume that I am missing something in the Procedure to properly deploy.
    Any help is greatly Appreciated!

    It seems that something went wrong with your custom field type installation. Check below line in .xml file of your custom field type and correct it if needed.
    <Field Name="FieldTypeClass">DocumentFieldType.DocumentFieldTypeClassName, DocumentFieldType, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=379382f3e8928835</Field>
    Please recheck respective values of namespace.classname , dllname. and publickeytoken in your code
    Thanks. Please mark it as an answer if it helps.

  • Where can I find the deployed EJB files in Oracle 10g AS(904)

    Hello All,
    Where can I find the deployed ejb files, stubs and skels in the Oracle 10g (904)
    When I try to run my ejb application I m getting following exception:
    com.evermind.server.rmi.OrionRemoteException: Error (de-)serializing object: org.apache.log4j.Logger
    I am not sure what is causing this error. I am not using any logging in my EJB. But the logging framework is configured in the application server.
    Your input would be a great help to me
    Thank you

    Thanks Carty,
    I am not creating Connection from EJB. I have a POJO called DBManager that looks for the DB Connection and return that to either EJB or other POJO that requests for Connection.
    I am having a private method that get the connection from the DBManager because while writing UnitTest cases I can mockup getting Connection as my Unit test case will be a POJO again..
    I have a question here regarding making DBManager as Singleton class. In my current project, I have configured my database in the application server as getting the connection by lookup for datasource through JNDI. It internally maintains all logical connection and always have one physical connection. In such scenario how implementing singleton will be beneficial?
    Thank you for answering all my questions.

  • How to deploy ejb in an Enterprise Environment using the jbuilder plugin

    Hello:
    I use Oracle9iAS Plug-in Release 2 (9.0.2) for Borland JBuilder 7 to deploy my ejb. But now, i would like to deploy my ejb to oc4j in an Enterprise Environment (not as standalone).
    Does anybody know how can i do it? I noted that the plugin use admin.jar to deploy ejb, and I suppose it need to use dcmctl.
    Thank you
    Sergio

    Sergio,
    The current release of Borland JBuilder only allows you to deploy to standalone OC4J. If you want to deploy to Oracle9iAS (Enterprise OC4J), please try Oracle9i JDeveloper 9.0.3:
    http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/jdev/content.html
    JDeveloper 9.0.3 uses DCM to deploy to Oracle9iAS
    Regards,
    Chen.

    Please help me...Thanks.

    In your ejb-jar.xml you are referring to a method saveActionGroup(EditableActionGroup) which is not defined in your remote interface.
    Maybe you have made some typo in the configuration. Check your transaction section, i.e.,
    <container-transaction>
                <method>
                    <ejb-name>ViewBean</ejb-name>
                    <method-name>saveActionGroup</method-name>
                    <method-params>
                        <method-param>package.EditableActionGroup</method-param>
                    </method-params>
                </method>
                <trans-attribute>Required</trans-attribute>
    </container-transaction>or something similar. See if the defined methods are corresponding to the methods defined in the remote interface.
