How can you fix the too many http redirects on the App Store
Each time I use my App Store and click on top 25 or categories it says too many http redirects and I need help fixing this problem. This problem has been occurring for about 1-2 weeks
I never had happen on app store but try this:
Removing or clearing stored Safari content
To clear your history from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History
To clear all cookies from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data
iOS 5 or later: To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data
referenced artilce HT1677. If it still does not work just use a computer and sync apps over or call apple support (you most likely will have to pay for it though). -
TS3320 " too many HTTP redirects"
Everytime I open up App Store on my iPod Touch 5g and try to click Categories or Top 25 a little pop up says " too many HTTP redirects" and does not let me view it. When I first got my iPod I didn't have this problem. How can I fix this problem?
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Go to Settings>wifi>the connected network and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings -

What does too many http redirects mean and how do I fix it
Does anyone know what the **** "Too many http redirects" means, and how the **** do I fix it ??
500 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle when it communicates with the Web server:
Obtain an IP address from the IP name of the site (the site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
Receive an HTTP data stream back from the Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '500'. Frank Vipond. September 2010.
Fixing 500 errors - general
This error can only be resolved by fixes to the Web server software. It is not a client-side problem. It is up to the operators of the Web server site to locate and analyse the logs which should give further information about the error.
Fixing 500 errors - CheckUpDown
Please contact us (email preferred) whenever you encounter 500 errors on your CheckUpDown account. We then have to liaise with your ISP and the vendor of the Web server software so they can trace the exact reason for the error. Correcting the error may require recoding program logic for the Web server software, which could take some time.

I am having a problem getting into the App Store on my iPhone since the recent update, I have a 4s and it appears the feature tab is not working. Does anyone now hoe to fix this issue, the other tabs are working okay and everything is working on my iPad ?
Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
iPad: Issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3304
iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199
Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

And it won't let me report it ! XGo here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

HT204266 Too many HTTP redirects in App Store?
Ok, so I decided to check out any new apps on the App Store a couple of days ago. I try to find the Top 25 tab at the bottom, but I noticed all the tabs are in different order. They used to be featured, top 25, genius, search, and updates. Now it is featured, search, updates, categories, top 25. Whenever I try to go to the top 25 or categories tabs, a message pops up saying "too many HTTP redirects" anything I can do to fix this?
See:
AppStore Show "too many HTTP redirects"...: Apple Support Communities
Likely a network problem beyond your control. -
when i click a link to the app on the app store the browser closes and opens up the app store. after 3-5 seconds, a message pops up saying "too many HTTP redirects"
i tried to reset all settings, still the same error
i tried changing DNS servers, still the same error
i tried changing security encryption on the wifi router, still the same error
i tried to free up available space to 3GB, still the same error
i restarted, still the same error
This error occured 2 days after i updated the device to 6.1
the app store alone works fine, but when i clicked a link of the app from a browser, the app store displays this.
I'm using iPad Mini 16GB wifi
can someone help us eliminate this annoyance (or bug, i might call it)It may be some apps on your iphone that is causing that.
Nope. The security on iOS means that no app can interfere with the OS or any other app. An app may crash, but it cannot cause any other app to crash or misbehave, and no app can affect system functionality, like networking.
you could download a virus protecter from the app store if you can acseess the app store.
Nope. The same security in iOS means that not only are there no viruses (or malware of any other kind) for iOS, but also that anti-virus apps are not possible. They would not be able to scan anything except themselves, which would be singularly unuseful. Thus, there are not actually any true anti-virus apps in the App Store. There are a couple that can scan your e-mail for you, but that is achieved through connecting to the IMAP server where your e-mail is stored. They cannot scan the phone.
