Total Rows with VC?

Is there a way to provide a total row in a table in VC?  I'm retrieving a set of financial data via a remote-enabled function module, and I'd like to total it up at the bottom of the table.  How do I accomplish this?  Is it possible to do in VC without having to edit the function module?
Thanks,
Dan

  • Add total row with a webservice

    Hi there,
    Im trying to update a list view to add the totals to a column subtotal. Im following the instructions given on
    Webservice Page
    When check the response of the webservice I'm not seeing the aggregation response and the total row is not being added. When I add or remove columns through this webservice it does work. Has anyone experiencing the same issue or knows how
    to solve this ?

    Hi,
    Is this “subtotal” a valid field name and the type of this column is “Number”?
    Also, please add this column into the <viewFields/> and do the test again.
    Feel free to reply with the test result if the issue still exists.
    Thanks

  • Having trouble with report total row with expression based condition

    Hi,
    I have a simple SQL region that has 2 columns (country and pnl). I then had a request to display negative PNL in red. To do this I copied the Standard Alternating Row Colors report Template and changed the condition so that it uses one class (named "t16data") with a PL/SQL Expression condition NVL(#PNL#,0)<0
    Then, in the referencing page HTML header I added :
    <style>td.t16data{color:red} </style>
    For normal data rows it works fine. However, I also have a sum on PNL and the total row always shows red (even when it's a positive number).
    Any idea? Do I need to provide more information?
    Thanks

    My question about this is the other Dynamic VPN that is working has no static route.
    I added:
    route outside 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.248 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP of the non working remote IKE Peer)
    This had no effect.
    Looking at the two tunnels.  The working tunnel is using IKE IPSEC and the nonworking tunnel is using IKE IPsecOverNatT.  What have I entered that tells the VPN to use IPsecOverNatT?

  • Sharepoint Export API - Returning rows with a starting row beyond 5000

    Until this last week I have been using looping REST connector logic to extract all of our customers Sharepoint data through the Export API. I was doing this by incrementing the starting row for each call by 500 with a row limit of 500 for each call. I kept
    doing this until the greatest returned row was equal to the total rows with duplicates. This ran in a deployed/automated fashion for the last two weeks. At the start of this week our customer noticed that we were only receiving roughly the number of unique
    customers (~4.9k) rather than the entire dataset (~27k). When I attempt to manually pull data from any point beyond a row count of 5000 I receive zero rows back.
    Has something changed with the API recently that would cause this to happen? If not with the API, could a change in permission levels/setting cause this?
    Thank you for your time,
    Bryan

    Hi Martin,
    Sorry for the late...very late reply, no I didn´t solved it and now we really need to get this issue sorted out. Since last time I have installed a new DPM 2012 R2 server for the customer, and the exact same error still occurs :(
    So my question in return, have you solved it yet ?
    If so, it would be great if you can reply with the solution.
    If not, MS please advise A.S.A.P
    Thx /Tony

  • Cube or Group By columns with Case Expressions with a total row (SQL Server 2008)

    I am trying to create a summary tabe of some data. I think that I can use Cube(my heart is not set on it though), but I cant figure a way to define new columns via a case expression and sum the new column.  Lastly, I need to create a total row at the
    bottom and I have no idea of how to do that except percent run the query and then run it again without the travel_city and union all the two tables
    group by travaled_city, [COL1] =sum(expense) when dept = 1, [COL2]=sum(expense) when dept = 2, [COL3] = sum(expense) when group = 3, =[COL4]=sum(expense) when group = 1 and  expense code = 0100,[COL5]= sum(expense) when group = 2 and  expense code
    = 0100, [COL6]sum(expense) when group = 3 and  expense code = 0100, [COL7]=sum(expense) when (exp_paid)<30, [COL8] = sum(expense) when dept in ('4','5','6')
    and have a grand total of each column
    any help is greatly appreciated

    Would this work?
    select travaled_city,
    sum(case dept when 1 then expense else 0 end) as [COL1],
    sum(case dept when 2 then expense else 0 end) as [COL2], ...

  • ALV totals row ,should not download in EXCEL

    Hello ,
                  I have developed a ALV report with subtotals.
    In the output, it will display an extra row with the Grand total, but when we try to downalod into Local PC excel file,
    it is downlaoding the totals row also. But the requirement is not to download that.
    Any option is there to not to downlad that row ?
    Let me know if anything needed.
    Thanks,
    AV

    Hi,
    I will suggest one thing.
    <li>Define layout structure
    DATA: wa_layout type SLIS_LAYOUT_ALV.
    <li>One checkbox on selection-screen for with or without total line.
    PARAMETERS: p_check AS CHECKBOX.
    <li>Now set the below on based on checkbox value
    IF p_check = 'X'. "Lets say without total line.
    wa_layout-no_totalline = 'X'.
    ENDIF.
    <li>Now pass wa_layout through REUSE* function module.
    Thanks

  • Count total rows in database?

    Hello all,
    Is there a way to query the database for the total number of rows.... without using ANALYZE STATISTICS? (That would cause the db to sometimes use COST instead of RULE based optimization, slowing it down significantly.)
    I know I could could brute force a total row count with something like:
    spool get_total_rows.sql
    SELECT 'SELECT COUNT(*) FROM '||owner||'.'||table_name||';'
    FROM ALL_TABLES;
    spool off
    ...then run get_total_rows and manually add all the counts.
    But it just seems like there must be a cleaner way to do it.
    Thanks much,
    Natasha

    ok. here you have that information:
    ALL_TABLES
    ALL_TABLES describes all relational tables accessible to the current user. To gather statistics for this view, use the SQL ANALYZE statement.

  • I have 105 rows with alternating columns of No. sold

    I have 105 rows with alternating columns of No. Sold and Amount Sold, for six different dates.  I want the two totals columns on the right to sum every other column for the Total No. Sold and the same but one over for Total Amount Sold.  I know how to do this for a single row, as I have done for the last totals row.  How could I do the formula for all rows without entering it for each one, or if that is not possible, maybe I could copy the formula in some way to make it easier?

    Yes, Roger, you can easily copy those formulas for all the rest of the 105 rows.
    Select the two totals cells, click on the little circle in the lower right corner of the selection and drag it to the bottom.

  • Formatting the total row column for a OATableBean

    Hi,
    I have an OATableBean with total row column.
    I need to format one column and it's total value as 28,861.972528.
    I used both codes below:
    1-
    Formatter formatter = new OADecimalValidater("###,###,##0.00000;-###,###,##0.00000", "###,###,##0.00000;-###,###,##0.00000");
    OAMessageStyledTextBean unitBean = (OAMessageStyledTextBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("UnitLandedCost");
    if(unitBean != null)
    unitBean.setAttributeValue(ON_SUBMIT_VALIDATER_ATTR, formatter);
    2-
    DictionaryData unitBeanFormat = (oracle.cabo.ui.data.DictionaryData)tableColumnFormats.getItem(pageContext.findChildIndex(tableBean, "UnitLandedCost"));
    f(unitBeanFormat != null)
    unitBeanFormat.put(ON_SUBMIT_VALIDATER_ATTR, formatter);
    Both codes worked for the values, but the total value was not formatted in both cases. I tried to use the code below to get the column Footer, but the tableFooterBean is null:
    OATableFooterBean tableFooterBean = (OATableFooterBean)tableBean.getColumnFooter();
    Is there anything else that should be done to format the total value?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Andrea

    As Tapash mentioned getTotalValues method will work. Another option can be to calculate the total value based on the rows of VO but that won't be required unless you are looking for Grand Total functionality.

    Hi,
    Can LogMiner catch DMLs against rows with Blob datatype?

  • Column Level Security - Grand Total row

    Hello All, I have a question about Column Level Security in a report where Grand Total is turned on. I am working inside of the OOTB Paint rpd and I am looking at the 'Finish Sales Trend for Current Year' report on the Brand Analysis dashboard page. Inside of the Admin Tool I added column level security on the Units presentation column in the Sales Measures table. I implemented security that will not allow the Central Region Manager group to view the Units column. When I access the report I noticed that the Grand Total row of the table is slightly skewed because the Units column is hidden. The Grand Total row is showing, however all the results are off by 1 cell.
    The forum is not allowing me to attach pictures to this post.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi User,
    It is an bug refer the metalink,
    Bug.9576412 - GRAND TOTAL NOT WORKING WHEN COLUMN LEVEL SECURITY IS IMPLEMENTED
    For eg:
    consieder a report with following columns,
    Year Product Measure1 Measure2
    In this if for measure1 the column level security is enabled (user1 who is not supposed to see the data).
    Then grand total value of measure2 will be in the grand total of measure1. (for user1)
    When column level security is enabled, that column will be pushed to the end of the table view.
    So that it is happening.
    By using case statements with groups or users we can get it work without enabling the column level security.
    Thanks,
    Vino

  • How to create a total row in a DynPro table ?

    Hello,
    I've created a standard table in DynPro which consist two lines: One indicating a certain count and the other indicating a certain amount. I would like to create at the end of the row a total row which will sum it's relevant column. How can I do it without summming each row manually at the code and how do I add another row at the end which will indicate the total?

    Hi Roy,
    Refer this tutorial for calculating the total in the WD table

  • Total row count - where from is that value?

    Hi,
    I need the value of total row count that is displayed at the button of portal report. I need this value to use in my java script.
    Is that value somewhere in database? Maybe any variable or hidden form element on the page?
    Where from does the portal know when to show only the previous button and when both next and previous? It must by calucated somehow.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks. Just to make clear:
    Probelm:
    I need to display links to pages with part of results at the bottom of page - just like in discussion group: Pages: [1] [2] [3] ....
    Solution:
    I know that there is a hidden form on every report rendered by portal. In that form there are several elements like:
    pagenumer, minrow and maxrows. Updating these elements I can jump to every page with results.
    Total row count problem:
    The problem is that I don't know the number of pages. If I had a total row count value I would calculate the number of pages and create links only to existing pages.
