i have to call a remote tuxedo service in my local service,and the remote
service need to be authenticated when use tpinit. when i use tpinit in my
service,it will be error, i think maybe the application does not know which
tuxedo service i will call(local or remote),so,it may think my tpinit was
for my local service,then some error here.
what shall i do when call a remote service which need to be authenticated at
tpinit???

What you should do is configure DOMAIN gateways between the remote tuxedodomain
and your own local domain. Then you don't need to call tpinit at all fromthe
local service that calls the remote service.

DCA-40000: internal error when calling a web service
Hello,
I would like to call a web service in Oracle UCM with basic authentication (CheckInUniversal). In JDeveloper 11.1.1.2 I can specify username and password for the WS at design time and the JSPX runs fine.
Now I have added some piece of code into a managed bean (CheckInBean) to use a specific username and password at runtime. When I run the page I get a DCA-40000 with the following error stack:
<Utils><buildFacesMessage> ADF: Adding the following JSF error message: The Web Service call failed due to an internal error.
oracle.adf.model.adapter.AdapterException: DCA-40000: The Web Service call failed due to an internal error.

Anyways, first thing that I could think of is - what is the scope of your managed bean..? If its in request scope can you try changing it to higher scope level (session scope or page view scope).

Got error when calling a web service, "XMLParametersToComHashtable:LoadXML failed"
Hi, I'm using vs2012, c# and asp.net.
In my asp.net web form project I got the error at the LOC when I call the web service's Search method. What does this error mean and how do I fix this? Am I to use some type of reader or loader? The Search method returns a XMLNode type.
But I thought using InnerText should be fine but I'm still getting the error.
thank you.
var restApi = new someWebServices.restApi();
strParm1 = restApi.Login(XXXXXXXXXXX);
var rtnSrv = (restApi.Search(strParm1, strParm2, 1, -1, false, @"<![CDATA[<parameters><parameter name=""XXXXXXXXX"" value=""XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""/></parameters>]]>")).InnerText;
Thank youThere is a Web service section in the ASP.NET forum.

Error when calling Java Web Services from ABAP.
Hello experts:
In my project, I will call Java Web Services with ABAP coding. With WSDL, I generated a proxy class and created a HTTP connection (t-code: SM59) and a logical port (t-code:lpconfig) for this proxy class. But when running, I would receive the folllowing errors:
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTP COMMUNICATION FAILURE")
If I used HTTPS, there is no problem.
Regards
BobHi Bob,
It might be the possibility that your java web server is configured to listen only on HTTPS.
If your HTTPS is working fine, then first check with your JAVA server for HTTP connectivity, then try it calling through ABAP.

Security Sandbox Violation when calling a remote service from a worker
From my application, I make calls to a BlazeDS server, that works fine.
I added a worker that calls the same services on the same server. But then, only for the calls from the worker, I have a Security Sandbox Violation error. I launch the application from FB in debug mode.
This is the message :
Error: [strict] Ignoring policy file at http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/crossdomain.xml due to incorrect syntax. See http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files to fix this problem.
*** Security Sandbox Violation ***
Connection to http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/appstore-admin/messagebroker/amfpolling halted - not permitted from file:///D:/Projects/appstoreClientsNext/MultiAppstoreAdmin/bin-debug/MultiAppstoreAdmin.swf
Error: Request for resource at http://xxxxxxxxxxxxx/appstore-admin/messagebroker/amfpolling by requestor from file:///D:/Projects/appstoreClientsNext/MultiAppstoreAdmin/bin-debug/MultiAppstoreAdmin.swf is denied due to lack of policy file permissions.
What should I do to allow the worker to make remote calls ?I made some progress on this. There are two different cases :
1) The service you want to access has a crossdomain.xml file
All the workers can access the service without a problem.
2) The service you want to access doesn't have a crossdomain.xml file
Whether you launch from FB in debug mode or you put your application on the same server you are trying to access, only the primordial worker will access the service, the other workers will encounter a security error.
I believe this is a bug. Shouldn't a worker have the same access privileges as the primordial worker ? -

Error when calling a web service in PLSQL, "the page could not be displayed
Hi, I have a simple web service based on a function returning the name of the employee, I tested it against the standalone oc4j instance and it's working fine, but when I try to call it from PLSQL the error "the page could not be displayed" appears.
What am I doing wrong?

end p_call;
end p_call_ws;

Whe I call the function in SQLPLUS> select p_call_ws.f_query_ws from dual;
The output generated is

Got "Reponse is not well-formed XML" error when calling FormDataIntegration web service
Hi,
I'm using Windows Server 2008 + LiveCycle Server ES2 (Reader Extensions) + ASP.NET
This problem only happened when I run the ASP.NET program with the licensed version of the server, (which i installed form the CD provided)
However, there is no problem in my development environment with the trial version downloaded from Adobe website, the import data was successful and a correct PDF form can be returned.
My question is that whether there is a problem within the LiveCycle services? or there is missing component that needs to be installed?? Thanks
After call the importData of FormDataIntegration, I got below error

"Invalid text value" error when calling a web service from a workflow in SharePoint Online
I'm trying to create a workflow that loops through a list in SharePoint Online using a REST web service call. However, I'm having
some trouble trying to pass the authentication token as described in the following article.
http://www.fabiangwilliams.com/2013/09/03/more-on-sharepoint-2013-r...
Basically, the workflow stops right at the "Call web service" action, and the only error it tells me is the following.
Invalid text value.
A text field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again
Has anyone had success with web service calls to SharePoint Online?

I am able to invoke this from IE and This URL is also accessible in UNIX server where SOA server is deployed.

I am using HTTP Binding adapter,
This is what goes in the composite.xml

<interface.wsdl interface="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/http/AssetID/Test_AssetID_VL/ff#wsdl.interface(Request_Response_ptt)"/>
<binding.ws port="http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/http/AssetID/Test_AssetID_VL/ff#wsdl.endpoint(ff/Request_Response_pt)"
location="ff.wsdl" supports="http">

Please advice,
Thanks,

Looks like the error is in the data sent to or expected from the service in your composite. Check that audit logs and composite flow to make sure your soap message when using soapui matches what you are working with in soa suite. -

401 Unauthorized Error When calling a SharePoint REST web service from SharePoint 2013 Workflow
We have our Workflow Manger installed on the same server as our SharePoint 2013 WFE development environment. When creating a SharePoint 2013 Workflow all Calls to a SharePoint 2013 REST web service results in a 401 Unauthorized error.
As an example I created a simple workflow that should return a JSON result. The REST Url returns the results in the browser without error.
Set Variable:webServiceUrl to https://<hostnamedsitecollection>/_vti_bin/client.svc/web/lists/getbytitle('ISR%20Approvers')/Items?$select=Title&$filter=Title%20eq%20%27General%27
then Build{...} Dictionary (Output to Variable:requestHeaders)
then Call [%Variable:webServiceUrl%] HTTP web service with request (ResponseContent to Variable:responseContent |ResponseHeaders to responseHeaders | ResponseStatusCode to Variable:responseCode)
The RequestHeader is set to the requestHeaders variable though the web service call properties
then Log Variable:responseCode to the workflow history list
After manually running the workflow in SharePoint on a list item in the ISR Approvers list it Logs "Unauthorized" in the Workflow History Log. It does this with every SharePoint REST web service call that I have tried through the workflow.
It doesn't have anything to do with the Workflow Manger being installed on the same machine as the SharePoint WFE does it?
Thank You for any insightHi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you had 401 Unauthorized Error when calling a SharePoint REST web service from SharePoint 2013 Workflow.
Please make sure you use the ‘Call HTTP Web Service’ correctly.
You can enter the URL into the brower to check whether it is correctly.
You need to
create the Request header requestHeaders
using a Dictionary:
Accept : application/json;odata=verbose
Content-Type : application/json;odata=verbose
To associate the
requestHeaders variable, select the Call action
property, set the RequestHeaders property to
requestHeaders.
Please refer to the following articles:
Working with Web Services in SharePoint 2013 Workflows using SharePoint Designer 2013
Calling the SharePoint 2013 Rest API from a SharePoint Designer
Workflow
In addtion, you need to make sure you install the workflow manager correctly.
