Tracking data on Client Socket

Hey, help me to figure this out, i have condition like this
Client request via browser and then the request go through RMI Server, RMI Server create Socket,which is connected to dummy machine, RMI Server send the request to the dummy machine to be proceed, after the dummy machine proceed the request it will sending to RMI Server, and RMI Server forwarded to the client via AppServer...
My problem are, if i send the request with many client on the same time, i got the data but the data is not what i wanted means that my data go through another client, how to solve this?
can i create thread on my socket which is connected to the dummy machine (If i use ServerSocket i can thread this,but i'm not using serverSocket) the dummy machine only can connected via socket(client socket type)
i figure this problem like this, why i got the different response from what i requested,cos if many client request in the same time, my socket not handle FIFO,correct me if i'm wrong? i want to create process like this, if the socket is using, the another client must be wait, is there any method that i can use for tracking the data on the socket?
I think about another solution, how about creating threads on my RMI at receiving and sending method?
If there any solution please help me figure this out...
Thanks....

There should be a simple applet that continuously checks your account and tells you how much bandwidth usage your computer/device, and all other computers/devices have used so far during your billing period, individually and total for the device/account.
I consider this situation to be a SERIOUS lacking/missing feature that should have been created BEFORE 4G service and the MiFi 4510L were offered.  The FCC should REQUIRE all wireless providers to provide a VERY simple, automatic method of continuously diplaying bandwidth usage for each account, and for each device using the account.  This is NOT rocket science by any means.

  • How to track data exchange

    Hi All,
    I am working on a load generator application where i record client interactions(request and response objects) in XML serialized form.
    Now i want to replay those recorded stuff. I am able to replay simple
    calls(requests) using reflection APIs.
    But the problem comes when i have to use data returned by one call in a later stage in another call. So there should be some mechanism to track data
    exchange while recording and use this tracking mechanism while replaying?
    I think might be i need some HashMap type structure but not sure !:)

    Thanks Roy.
    JMeter deals with Web Applications but not ejb application clients
    I have recorded ejb calls in XML serialized form. When i was going to replay those recorded scenarios, i found a very
    big problem. The problem is divided into 3 cases:
    /*Case1:*/
    Var x = func1.a ();
    …. // Some intermediate statements
    func2.b (a, b, x);
    /*Case2:*/
    func2.b(a, func1.a(), b);
    /*Case3:*/
    Var x = func1.a();
    …. // Some intermediate statements
    Variable x is updated
    func2.b(a, b, x);During replay of those recorded calls
    You can see the values returned by func1 call(it was already recorded) have
    been used in func2(this call is already been recorded) in 3 different ways.
    I have to find these correlations during runtime (replaying of those recorded calls) and have to pass these dynamic values returned by func1 to func2 instead of those values which are in recorded script.

  • CTRL-M (^M) characters in data read from sockets

    Hi,
    We have developed a software applications which opens upto 300 TCP connections and 4000 UDP sockets. The data from the TCP application is multiplexed to UDP sockets and viceversa.
    We connect to the application using a TCP socket and send certain data to the application which in turns sends this data to all the 4000 UDP sockets. The data received from 4000 UDP sockets is in turn sent back to the TCP socket as responses.
    We used telnet to connecct to thespecific TCP port on our application, sent a request to be sent to all 4000 UDP sockets and noticed ctrl-M characters in the data received from TCP socket. However we are sure we are not appending or adding this ctrl-m character while sending the data on TCP socket.
    telnet host port >/tmp/abc
    send a request
    send next request
    (after 10 mins, close connection)
    cat -vet /tmp/abc >/tmp/xyz
    There are ctrl-m characters in /tmp/xyz.
    ^M is observed only at the end of few lines and not on all lines. Successive repeatition of this test generates ^M in different lines but at the end of the line always.
    Can anybody help me to know why these ^M characters are getting generated?
    Note: We are completely working on Solaris and do not move contents across Windows and Unix. Our application is completely written on C++
    Thanks.

    I think I've misunderstood something here. The problem you're having is with the response being filtered by Telnet or your client, not what telnet is sending to the server?
    In that case I think the explanation is clear. Telnet is trying to display what comes back on a screen, and it is deleting and inserting newlines every now and then according to its internal whim so as to make the data wrap. I don't know if you can control that, but I also don't know if it matters as long as you have your own client application. You just have to stop treating Telnet as a viable test client.

  • Transferin Huge data via Java sockets! Problematic!

    Hello!
    I tried to write a server app in Java to get huge data which contains a meta data XML format about file information and then binary data of file...
    I get data from socket with DataInputStream and then I read like this:
    ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
    while((got = in.read(res)) != -1)
    out.write(res, 0, got);
    byte[] recieved = out.toByteArray();
    I saw that if I store all receiving data in array it takes alot of memory and I cannot even transfer files which have 650MB of data.
    So I decided to write what I get from socket directly to a file...
    I used FileOutputStream to do it...
    But problem is -> THIS SERVER IS SO SLOW!
    I wrote similar code in VB6... And it receives data from client SO SO SO faster than Java...
    What's wrong with my code which makes works slow?
    how can I solve it?
    You experts have any server code example for receiving huge amount of data?
    Please advice...
    Thanks alot

    How to use buffered streams: go to Java tutorials http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html - look for "basic input/output", and "buffered streams" under it. You'll want BufferedInputStream and BufferedOutputStream.
    Alternatively:
            byte buf = new byte[8192];
            while (true) {
                int count = in.read(buf);
                if (count == -1)
                    break;
                out.write(buf, 0, count);
            }If at all possible, don't read the whole file into memory at once. Read with a loop like the above and do whatever you are supposed to do with the data a chunk at a time. But if you must have it in memory then I guess you got to do what you got to do.

  • HTTP-500 Error Reading Data from Client!!

    I'm trying to create a page where by clients are able to contact us through the portal. So, it's a pretty basic form where I have a text box for the subject, and a text area for the message body.
    My problem is when the message body is over a certain size, I'm getting a "portlet cannot be contacted" on my screen. The Apache log comes up with the error:
    [error] mod_plsql: /pls/portal/!PORTAL.wwpob_page.show HTTP-500 Error Reading Data from Client!!
    I'm not using a windows OS, so the bug that has been talked about previously talked about shouldn't be the problem.
    Also, I am using a POST rather than a GET, so I don't think it has to do with the browser (and I have tested this on Firefox and IE 5.5 and IE 6).
    Would appreciate any advise.
    Thanks, Nicky

    Are you using SSL? Maybe, it has to do with it. I encountered a similar problem. It turned up that this read error occurred inside Apache and was caused by a nonstandard-SSL-request by Internet Explorer. te remedy was to add this to the Apache configuration:
    SetEnvIf     User-Agent     ".*MSIE.*"     \
    nokeepalive ssl-unclean-shutdown downgrade-1.0 force-response-1.0
    It tells Apache to switch to HTTP/1.0 and to never keep open socket connections with MSIE on SSL connections.
    Lycka till!

  • Java Chat (Server, Client Socket Connection)

    Assignment:
    The assignment is to deliver two source codes that can run a Server (1) and Clients (2) in order to create a simpel chat program. The server has to wait and check an IP (localhost) + Port, and the client has to connect to that port and create a socket connection. The only thing that should be done is create a new socket connection for each client... and when a client sends a message, the message should be delivered to all clients connected to the server.
    Problem...
    However I can read an edit Java, it's difficult for me to write it. I allready found many turturials about socket connections on the internet, and tried to edit those, but they don't really do what I want unless I really write new shit. Is there a way you guys can help me with this, or that you find a really good website that fits my question?

    According to me ,
    take string variable 'str'
    Take some class ,I think u already taken.....
    Scoket scoket = new Socket(IP,port);
    OutputStream out;
    IInputStream in;
    in = socket.getInputStream();
    out = socket.getOutputStream();
    If sends the msg then use
    out.writeObject(str);
    This line sends data to the other user
    msg resivce from client then use
    str = in.readInput();
    & this str set to the any objects out put .
    Such as TextField.setText(str);

  • Server/Client Socket Connection

    Hi, I am trying to program a simple server/client socket connection program, the main function is to send and receive objects between them. I somehow went wrong and the connection between them keeps terminating right after establishing connection. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
    This is gonnna be kinda long post.. sorry. These are the code that starts and ends the socket connection. I'm kinda desperate for this to work.. so thanks in advance.
    appinterface.java:
    //Set up server to receive communications; process connections. 1x.
         public void runServer () {
              try {
                   //Create a ServerSocket

  • View data in client B from client A in the same SID without a valid logon?

    Hi Folks
    We are planning on upgrading our 4.6C system to ERP 6.0, and are initialy considering having two clients in the same sandbox SID.  One would be for the developers to perform code remediation checks (client A), and one would contain a copy of production data for performing testing of functionality over live data (client B).
    Would it be possible to view data in client B from client A in the same system without a valid logon to client B or RFC connection to client B from client A?   For example via the use on an ABAP program to SQL the database?
    I know one can use transactions like SM30/SM31 to view, compare, and adjust data between clients, but this requires an RFC connection and valid logon to the target client.
    Regards
    Kevin.

    Short answer: yes.
    If someone has the right to write and execute ABAP reports on the system he is able to access the data of all clients. So I don't think that this setup is advisable. Don't mix development and production data in one system.

  • Regarding Batch Jobs for migration of data from client DB to our local DB

    Hi Folks,
    GoodDay, Previously I worked as a Oracle Developer and recently shifted into a BIG organisation as PL?SQL developer. Here my base work is with INTERFACES(Stored Procedure). That is retrieving data from client DB and need to put the data in our staging tables. For that i created 2 INTERFACES(stored procedures). One is for one time migration. No need to run on regular basis. The second one is to run regularly why because if any updations are done in client DB that should be replicate to our DB. For that we need to run a BATCH JOB regulary 24X7 basis.
    But i dont have any working knowledge on BATCH JOB creation and running. Please let me guide on this issue ASAP.
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    You can try
    dbms_job(9i)
    or
    dbms_scheduler(10g)
    just out of curiosity.. tell me if you are interested...
    what you were doing as a "oracle developer" ( is it like writing only "sql" )...

  • Need help restoring original track data in Match

    Truly hope someone can offer advice! I know there are several threads about changes made to track data while Match is syncing don't stick, but I have a slightly different problem:
    I upgraded TuneUp and without knowing it, TuneUp startet "fixing" my entire library by deleting many composers and ruining other carefully edited information
    By the time I realized what was happening and shut it down, some 2.000 tracks has been wreaked havoc upon
    I restored the library from Time Machine, but apparently Match had had time to sync so that the wrong edits were flushed back to my library
    I have now tried several ways of fixing this:
    Restoring the library and using one of Doug's scripts to add a space at the end of all track names to make "my version" the latest, but this process takes so long that it times out and by then Match has again ruined my track info
    Turn off Match, restore the library, make changes to some track info for all tracks, and turn Match on again. Under this approach, Match seems to treat the cloud copy as the "original" even if I made changes to my local copy later
    Restoring the library, allow Match to start syncing so that my local library is viewed as part of the Match set, then disconnect the internet connection and make track changes, turn on again and sync Match again. Still, the Match changes are flushed back to my local library
    Unless there are other suggestions, I see no way out by let Match stay turned off... Anyone with better insight than me into how Match treats changes and which take priority that could help?
    Bjorn

    Hi,
    I'm not sure this will work. I use an app, no bearing on this issue, called Ivolume which adjust  the volume of the tracks. To get match to recognise volume change and that the file has been update, Ivolume adds information into comments box. My understanding is that this change allows latest file to replace the one in the cloud.
    My thoughts are that you have matched turned off, restore library pre problems then add a comment for those tracks affected. Once done turn back on match. A long shot but worth considering.

  • Trying to import boujou .ma tracking data into after effects, seems like it doesn't support the file.

    I have tried everything to try and get this to work; i have tried multiple settings in boujou, i have imported the .ma file into maya and exported with baked keyframes and only the camera selected etc. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I am wondering whether Adobe has cut support for .ma files altogether, which is a real pain in my *** as the built in 3d track just isn't good enough. I have tried dragging the file into after effects, i have tried importing it neither of which do anything. The .ma files don't even show up, i have to select 'all files' under the file type when i choose import to even see the files, and when i click them it doesn't recognize it as tracking data, it'll try and import it as a .PNG file or something. I can't seem to find any plugins that would enable me to import .ma files. I just need that tracking data as a Camera in my scene and i don't care how it is done. Additionally, i have tried exporting as a .txt file and copying and pasting that data into a camera, which doesn't work (unless im doing it completely wrong).
    Thankyou for reading

    I also experience this problem. My mp4 clips has been taken with a Samsung NV24HD camera and are HD (720p). I haven't tried to convert these clips but I think it should not be necessary since I can play them in quick time. However I have perian installed, perhaps that's why they play in quick time? The next question is then: Is there a similar plugin to iMovie?

  • What is the recommended way to obtain tracking data from carriers post XSI

    We currently run an old version of SAP Business Connector. We are in the process of migrating all interfaces off BC onto PI. The one remaining interface we have problems is the XSI (Express Delivery Interface) interface we have with ECC06 and UPS via the BC server. The interface works but is not stable and we would like to decommission it if we are able.
    I'm not 100% clear but it appears that XSI is no longer the recommended solution for obtaining tracking data from carriers. What is the recommend method today? We'd be happy to use a PI or ABAP solution but would prefer a standard solution that was supported by SAP and UPS.

    Using Time Machine is the simplest way to back up.

    How is the drive formatted?
    If it's DOS/FAT32, you can only size file sizes up to 4GB.
    If you are using it on a Mac only, format it Mac OS X HFS+.
